Durjana's In-law

Durjana's In-law
Chapters 37. Hanum's Threat

Hanum wears a negligee that indicates that she is pregnant. After fighting with his conscience, Hanum decides to come to the hospital. Before getting there, Hanum stopped by to buy souvenirs for Kasmirah.

Rather than bewildered at the thought of what to bring, Hanum decided to buy a fruit parcel. The price is pretty sure the results are good too. Hanum just doesn't want to be denigrated by her anymore.

Ismawan, knowing that his first ex-wife was coming, decided to take a day off work. Moreover, he should have entered the morning shift.

"Num, you're finally coming too. Today I take care of Mom. Usually there is Ayu, but because you said you want to come, so I am here," said Ismawan in front of his mother's nursery.

"You sure you still want to see me, Mom? Why don't you talk to Ayu? Lagian Ayu is also good to take care of Mom, right?"

"It's not like that, Num. Ayu indeed wants to take care of Mom because she feels she was once her favorite daughter-in-law. In addition, some of Ayu's relatives also work at this hospital. That's why he's here so often."

"While I'm not a good daughter-in-law, am I?" hanum's words made Ismawan shut up.

His words this time were wrong because they had to favor Ayu. Rather than continue the misunderstanding, Ismawan immediately asked Hanum to meet his mother.

"Sorry, Num. You better just go in. I'm gonna be glad to see you coming."

Hanum took the parcel and put it on the table. Upon entering, the Kasmirah position falls asleep. Looks like I just took medicine.

"Mas, Mom's asleep. Then I'll just go back."

"Don't, Num!" ismawan said softly while pulling the woman's hand.

Hanum immediately shook his hand. She was uncomfortable being treated this way by her ex-husband. Apparently that little commotion made Kasmirah wake up. The woman had not noticed Hanum's presence.

"Is, what's wrong? Why so noisy?"

"Here, Mom, there's Hanum."

Kasmirah then opened his eyes. His views were against Hanum's. A few seconds later, Kasmirah turned to look at the stomach of Hanum who was estimated to be pregnant between 6 to 7 months.

"Num, you came too. I'm sorry, huh?" Kasmirah.

Hanum. He didn't know whether to forgive this quickly or not. His heart fought to answer that one apology.

"Ah, yes, Num. Doesn't matter. I realize that mom's mistakes are a lot for you. Oh, yeah, how old is your pregnancy? It looks big and fat," he added.

"Almost 7 months, Mom."

"Male or female?"

"Hanum doesn't know yet."

Silent moment. Hanum became a stubborn figure. He's not as easy to fool as he used to be. He was more careful not to get involved too far with his former in-laws.

Hanum actually wanted to sit down, but lingering there was also uncomfortable. Kasmirah's gaze made him doubtful. Although he is strong, but still there are disappointments that are still visible.

"Thank you, Mom. Hanum just stand up. By the way, what's sick mom?"

"As usual, Num. High blood Mother. You can't think too hard. Actually I thought about Ismawan's fate. She must be lonely at home. I even thought of asking you to refer to him."

Hello, mother! Hanum felt like he wanted to push the woman into the deepest abyss until he could not come back again. Who destroyed it first? Now he was willing to ask Hanum to refer. Especially in a moment Hanum will give birth. Just yummy! The wound has not healed yet, want to add new wounds again? No way, Bambang!

"Sorry, Mom. Hanum's intention of coming here was purely to visit Mom. Not to discuss beyond that. About the reference, Hanum felt it would never happen. I want to focus on giving birth to my son and raising him."

"on your own? I'm sure you won't be able to. Better just talk!" The sound of the Kasmirah rose an octave from before.

Ismawan. He did want to say that, but there was no courage. Surely Hanum would reject him outright.

"Easy, Mom. Don't like to demean others! I could raise Mas Is myself. I can definitely be better than Mom. I also have income from my work."

Feeling that his condition was not good, Ismawan tried to divert the conversation.

"Mom, don't be like that. You want to know about Hanum's pregnancy, too, right? If you're angry, your blood pressure won't drop. Just leave Hanum with his decision. Ismawan will help raise our child if Hanum allows."

Hearing the word allowed, the instant Kasmirah became more and more inflamed. He felt that Hanum must have had a way to separate his grandson from Ismawan.

"Num, you can't be selfish! Involve Ismawan to take care of your son. If your son is a girl, the marriage guardian is also my son."

Hanum took a deep breath and then exhaled. "This is what makes me lazy to meet Mom. At the end of the day, she's managing my life again."

"Num, I'm sorry. Maybe he was afraid of not being able to meet his granddaughter. It's only natural that he said that."

"So, according to Mas Is, all Mother's words are natural? How do you feel, Mom? Can you understand it? No, right? Until anytime, neither Mom nor Mas Is will ever be able to understand me!"

Hanum exited the room without saying goodbye. Then Ismawan who felt wrong again spoke to him. Hanum has become increasingly sensitive since pregnancy.

"Num, wait! I'm sorry!" ismawan. Although some people look at it a bit strange, but no longer cared.

"Mas, you better never call me again. If our son is born, I'll just tell him. I don't want you to come to see my son either. Your mother was so mean, Mom! For his own sake, he was willing to hurt others. I'm sorry, I said this because the truth is like that. Do you remember when I was not pregnant? I married you to Ayu forcibly. I don't think, how do I feel?" Hanum's tears just escaped.

Ismawan. Although he wanted to hug his son at birth later, but the ultimatum given by Hanum is quite clear. Actually do not want to keep the relationship of children and fathers, it's just that Hanum wants to be calm and not stressed if Ismawan and his mother come.

"Yes, Num. Mas sorry. Promise will not come if you do not ask. Just, I want to ask you one thing. Don't ever break our relationship, will you? Even if it's just a phone call or a message. I also want to know how you are, Num."

"I don't promise, Mom. It depends on how you treat me. If you're trying to separate me from my son, I'll make sure that you won't be able to meet him!" Hanum's threat is no joke. She was already planning to go outside the island and stay away from her ex-husband's family.
