Durjana's In-law

Durjana's In-law
Chapters 10. Old Friend

The most terrible life is to live with toxic in-laws and husbands who can't keep their partners feeling. Luka Hanum as added with lime juice. If it is broken, it will hurt him even more.

Ayu is the same. She who was present became the third person in the Hanum and Ismawan household instead confidently became the woman who was hurt. It felt like Hanum wanted to shout as loud as possible that you were the actor!

"Mas, are you sure you will accept Ayu as your second wife? Why are you doing that, Mom?" hanum asked on the sidelines of the time her husband had.

Ever since I found out that Ismawan agreed to his mother's request. Coupled with the attitude of Ayu who did not want to give up at all. Her mother-in-law's support for her husband's second marriage made Hanum increasingly lose confidence.

"Why not, Num. I have repeatedly rejected my mother's wishes, but until now I have no children. Maybe something's wrong with you, Num."

Stifling answer from Ismawan. He had met and talked with Ayu, but had not decided to continue the relationship to a further level. Ismawan is still in a dilemma with his current position.

"Why don't we find a solution, Mom? Why do you even accept other options if the first option is not yet us live," said Hanum.

Hanum's intention here is to go to the gynecologist to check their respective conditions. It wasn't easy. They have to make an appointment. While Ismawan is being intensively accepted a job at the factory where he currently works.

"I think the problem is in you, Num. Sometimes I think my mother's words are right. Never mind your husband already knew that you were infertile so decided to let go of you."

It hurts not when the husband himself does not believe. Nor did he support Hanum's actual plan for the wholeness of their own household.

"Mas, I'm sure I'm healthy. Maybe one of us does need a doctor's treatment. I'm not accusing you, but I'm sure I'm healthy. Every month I have a guest. I'm pretty sure that my cycle is normal, I don't have a problem" Hanum explained.

"So, you're accusing me of not being able to get you pregnant, right? That's so funny your mind! Only because of the arrival of Ayu you prolong this problem. Do I have to marry Ayu and get her pregnant so we can both know that you're the one with the problem?" ismawan said annoyed.

"What's this guy talking about, anyway? It's not about Ayu or anyone. Even though I know that Ayu's arrival took a lot of my mind. I realize that you too will definitely be tempted by young leaves, but please think once again about our purpose in getting married. Doesn't Mas also both know and agree to find a solution in every problem we face? Instead of just letting go of yourself and charging me everything, Mas."

After that day, Hanum's daily life was always filled with arguments. Her husband often makes Hanum feel cornered and is sometimes considered to be a woman who never cared about family.

Whatever Hanum did was for his family. Kasmirah is also like Ismawan who often cornered himself. Hanum is only assigned as someone who is in charge of the entire house.

Hanum's mind could no longer be conditioned. She did survive with her husband and in-laws, but her body was a loser. The more days Hanum is not getting pretty, but she is getting thinner.

"Well, isn't all this because of Mom and Is? Mother kept forcing me to take care of this whole house. Mother also brought Ayu home, right? Mother also influenced Is to accept Ayu as his second wife. You guys made me like this" Hanum replied softly.

"Don't blame me, Hanum. The competition will remain until you give up. Did you also forget that Ismawan has also met Ayu Kirana? Soon they will be united. So, get ready if you're gonna get kicked out of this house real quick."

Not only Kasmirah, Ismawan never hurt his heart. He is forced to accept Ayu at her mother's request. She could not resist him for fear of hurting her mother's heart. What about Hanum's own heart? His wife's heart was hurt from all directions.

"I shouldn't have done that bad to Hanum. How would people say if Is married again?" Hanum is still trying to find a reason to win this war.

"Mother just tell them that Hanum is barren. Can't give grandchildren to me. And divorced would not. They must be very compassionate" said Kasmirah, proud of all his plans and thoughts.

Hanum already understands the key word. She had to get pregnant, but how would she make that happen if Ismawan no longer supported her?

Hanum secretly collected the remnants of the shopping money from her husband for purposes like this. He decided to go to the hospital and do a health check. Even without her husband, Ismawan.

"I'll prove it to you, ma'am. I deserve you to defend. For mom too, please don't keep putting me down, ma'am, " Hanum murmured before going to the hospital.

Hanum desperately went to the hospital for the sake of his family and the integrity of his household. He took a line to the gynecologist. At least Kasmirah's accusations against Hanum were not proven. She hopes that her condition will always be healthy and can get pregnant with the advice given by the doctor to her.

"It's nice to see pregnant people being ushered in by her husband for pregnancy control. When is it my turn, O God? Why do you keep making me restless and fall into this stifling life?" muttered Hanum looking around him.

It felt like Hanum was coming out of that horrible zone, but he thought of himself again. Ismawan was actually a good man, but suddenly changed. It was because it was caused by his mother who had a very high desire.

This time Hanum had already entered, but not for long had he come out again. The results were very unsatisfactory because the doctor wanted Hanum to come with her husband.

"Ah, there are only obstacles when I have good intentions. How long will I remain in this most difficult position, O Rabb?" muttered Hanum.

When he was about to get out of the hospital, Hanum accidentally hit someone. The person immediately reflexively called out his name. Although it looks doubtful also because of the significant change of Hanum.

"Hanum? You're Hanum, right?" said that person who turned out to be Hanum's old friend.
