After returning from the festival and he was escorted back by Indra, Indri was amazed to find his complete family members in his living room.
The father sat on the largest sofa in a straight line with the door and covered only in a simple sleeping robe. The mother was on the sofa next door and smiled. The brother sat on his knees beside him and took a glance. The sister was between the mother and brother and immediately looked enthusiastically. While on the opposite sofa, there is also the older cousin and the cousin whose tumben-tumben joined together.
Indri first blinked, rather surprised and more surprised. He would only ask if he did not feel a slow pull on his hand. The woman only realized that Indra was still holding her since the festival.
Indra led him to a short sofa opposite the father. The man smiled briefly as he looked at Indri's confusion. "Just sit down."
Indri has never been this kind of person with his family. Not if the time is too sudden and Indra also participates. Plus, it's getting late at night.
"Exit from the festival?" The father was chatting.
Indra nodded. "Sorry because it's too late."
The father laughed softly. "Teeners of your age are natural to want to have fun." The man stopped slowly to turn his expression into seriousness. "So .. is that true, Indra?"
Indra held slowly. His eyes looked straight and were sure of his father. "certain."
Indri kontan glanced at the two back and forth. He looked at his mother and the others, demanding an explanation. However, they just smiled with different intentions. The cousin gave a suspicious whimper.
"I want the best" the father said without caring about the princess' confusion. "It's true .. All this time, I couldn't do anything about it. I was a failed father." The man then looked at Indri sad as well as happy. "However ... he has gone beyond what I want."
Indri was stunned and continued to look at his father.
The father first controlled himself and looked at Indra. More serious and intense. "And maybe you realize you've had time to add to his pain."
Sensed by Indri, Indra's grip on his hand tightened. Not too loud. The man was trying to strengthen and convince himself.
"But" the father slowly smiled softly, "you who are now .. also exceeded my expectations."
Indra looked stunned. His tightly clenched mouth was forced to open. "... Thank you." Thank you."
The father nodded in wisdom, then glanced at the mother.
The mother looked at Indra completely. The woman smiled coldly. "Anything, for the sake of Indri's happiness .. kurestui."
Indri kept staring at the mother without blinking. While Indra again felt the contents of his chest overflow.
"I won't be commenting much" the sister responded when it was her mother's turn to glance at her. The 17-year-old smiled. "I will always support."
"Well." yeah." The brother rubbed his nape for a while, then looked at Indra fixedly. "I confess your sincerity. Good, Indra. Inevitably, I have to give Indri."
Indra did not answer. He stared back firmly.
Indri has not been able to catch what they are talking about, so he turns to the last two people.
While straddling, the older cousin smiled faintly. "I don't mind. Since long ago, you guys really can't be separated."
"Oh jeez. I didn't expect this day to come!" letup the cousin could not take it anymore. He commented very happy and satisfied. "Congratulations, you two. Organs, yes. Oho! And let me help teach Indra junior-or Indri junior-maybe too. I'll be a good uncle!"
Indra's solemn manner instantly turned sour. "Can't."
"Hey, hey, you want one family to be quiet? That beautiful household is a cheerful and-"
"W-Wait a minute!"
They all stared at Indri who had risen to his feet. The girl's expression was mixed. Confused, astonished, surprised, astonished, plus embarrassed. His cheeks are red. "A-what ... you guys ... talk ...?"
Silent moment.
On the other hand, the younger brother desperately held a teasing laugh. The cousin grunts amusedly. The mother kept on her cool smile and the father just muttered, "both quiet, yes."
In the end Indra sighed softly. The man stood up and looked at the girl. "Indri."
Indri was almost silenced. "... yeah?"
Waiting for a few seconds, apparently Indra did not reply. The man continued to look at Indri, eager to say something but still needed courage.
The brother suddenly got up. "Alright, everybody. Let's give them some space."
Even the departure of the brother and others did not have time to care about Indri. Until the room was quiet and only a faint nightly chatter was heard from outside, the woman could not let go of the attention of Indra. What Indra wants to talk about is very important for both of them and somehow Indri can know that.
"Sorry." Is the first word that Indra shouts. "On everything. For what I've done in the past .. whatever it is."
Indri does not blink.
"I always try to make you really happy." Indra stared at me. "I never really knew how, so I kept trying."
"It." Indri was finally able to smile, thin and sincere. "You always try your best. That's enough for me."
"Never be enough." Indra's voice suddenly turned serious. His gaze shaded. "I want to keep caring for you."
Everything was suddenly quiet so that Indri could hear his heartbeat pounding hard. The woman froze as Indra approached and grabbed her. Not too tight and just like Indra wants to support him, but Indri can feel the stiffness in the movement of the man, tend to be brave.
"Not just now." Indra's voice even tried to be issued to resemble a whisper. His tongue was as though it was a mute, but it continued to be forced by determination. "I .. want to take care of you. For the next .. and forever."
It took a few seconds for Indri to digest. Families that gather late at night. The seriousness of the father and Indra. The cousin was suddenly very happy and congratulated them. Then Indra's words just now.
Indri's face heated up in an instant. "... J-So .. earlier it was ...."
Indra let go of the crib, but did not move away until the man was very close to Indri. His eyes could now look at her seriously as well as gently. Finally, he can say steady, "Yes."
If there is anything happier than hearing Indra's statement of feeling first, it is now. Indri can't react much anymore. His entire chest was rumbling and bouncing. It's so loud and boisterous. The emotional outpouring also made her tears threatened to overflow so happy. No longer in power, Indri scattered and hugged Indra tightly. The woman was sobbing.
Usually Indra will immediately lecture or calm him if he cries, but this time the man is silent. Indri's tears this time should not be removed. Those tears were among the ones Indra was waiting for. So the man hugged back tightly and let Indri cry as much as he could on his shoulder. Next to his hand gently rubbed the mane of the woman while she smiled gently.
After a few minutes, Indri was able to calm down again, but did not want to move away and still tightly wrapped his arms.
"It's late" Indra reminded. "Are you not tired?"
Indri shook his head on Indra's shoulder. "Where can I sleep?"
"You mean?"
"After what happened," Indri's voice grew quiet and embarrassed, "I'm .. too happy."
Indri then felt Indra's hand pushing him slowly and they came back face to face. Indra turned to raise both sides of his face until they could look at each other more closely and freely.
"What's your answer?" whispered Indra a little worried. "If you're not ready, I-I"
Indra's voice was swallowed because Indri stopped the movement of his lips with his index finger. Indri smiled stifledly. A happy red hue crept across his cheek. "You know the answer, don't you?"
Indra still hesitates. "I don't want to force you," he softly explained.
"I'll always be happy and like everything you've done for me." Indri smiled back sincerely and coldly. His red hue clarified as he slowly connected, "that's because .. I love you."
Indra's worries disappeared. His expression was much more relaxed and relieved. His mouth was tightly clenched like he was holding back an outpouring of emotions. The man managed to review a smile that represented all his happiness and gratitude. "Me too" whispered Haru. "Thank you ... Indri."
