Episode 7: Gossip

From behind the window looks a stretch of snow that is still stacked like cotton rolls. A long-haired girl was seen silently staring outwards. Not long after, there was the sound of the door being knocked.

“Nona, it's time for breakfast.”

“Alright, soon I'm out Lili.” Answer Charlotte.

After Charlotte came out, she and Lili went to the dining room. Midway they parted ways because the lady's dining room and waitresses were different places. Charlotte walks down the aisle alone, accidentally crossing paths with several other ladies including lady Merlinda. Charlotte smiled as a good morning greeting but without her guessing the response of some lady was very unfriendly. They ignored charlotte with a sharp look. Of course this makes charlotte a little confused, what is wrong with her.

Upon arriving at the dining room, some of the lady and Charlotte were surprised because princess Emira was ready to sit in her place.

“Greetings to the princess, good morning.” Answer all the ladies while giving their respect.

“Good morning all.” Princess Emira greets the ladies.

As Charlotte headed for the seat she used to be at the far end and far away with the princess, suddenly the princess called out to her.

“Charlotte, can you sit close to me? I want to talk to you.” Princess Emira said.

Hearing that all the lady looked at him, he already knew for sure something like this would happen after all knew that he had closeness to the royal family. Although Charlotte was reluctant but there was no way she would refuse what the princess said. Finally he sat down where the princess proposed that it be close to him.

Breakfast this time is not as usual, Charlotte who always silent and only eat food and some lady who likes to talk but this time is inversely proportional. Charlotte talked a lot with the princess and some of the ladies fell silent and just watched the two of them. This made Charlotte feel uncomfortable. Due to the slightly awkward atmosphere, finally princess Emira asked the other lady.

“What's up? Not usually you guys just shut up.”

“Ah is not a princess, we are just enjoying the food.” Answer one of the ladies.

“Oh so, I guess you guys are uncomfortable because I talk a lot with Charlotte.” Princess Emira.

“Which we may feel uncomfortable just because you are talking. But, I don't think that lady Charlotte is someone who is cool to talk to because usually she just keeps quiet.” Melinda.

“Yes maybe because lady Charlotte and princess already know each other from a long time ago so lady Charlotte can talk casually.” Another lady satirized Charlotte.

Charlotte was only silent but that did not mean she was silent out of fear rather she did not want to argue trifles in front of the princess because it could be so disrespectful. After breakfast and tea are over, all the ladies will be getting ready for their departure to the Moesen kingdom. When Charlotte was about to leave with Lili, Emira's daughter approached her.

“Charlotte, can you take a train with me? I'm always bored if I'm alone all the way.” Ask princess Emira.

Princess Emira was delighted to hear Charlotte's reply. After Princess Emira left, some of the ladies who saw and heard this increasingly expressed their dislike for Charlotte. Even when they were walking together, they did not hesitate to talk about Charlotte even though Charlotte was in front of them walking along with Lili. Charlotte just ignored what some lady said about her. Charlotte is not a person who is easily ignited emotions by small things but not by Lili. Lili had been eager to shout at the ladies who had talked about her non-no but she could only keep quiet and she knew her nona would not like it if she responded to them.

When she reached the room, Lili let out her emotions because she heard the words of some lady earlier about her nonanya.

“Haaaaah miss, are you not upset by what some lady said? I who heard it just want to stuff their mouth.” Lili said with emotion.

“Let them say whatever they say is not true. If we respond to them, it will only waste our energy free of charge.” Answer Charlotte who is sitting in front of her dresser.

“But miss, I'm not happy to hear them say ugly about you.” Say Lili while combing Charlotte's black hair.

“Have not thought, even now I feel bad about you Lili. Because I will accompany the princess so you will be alone during the journey.” Charlotte said in a sad tone.

“Yes my lady, I'm fine. Quite the contrary, I feel happy because miss can be with the princess.”

“Haaahhhh, you're fed up with me Lili?” Charlotte asked with a frown to the point of making her cheeks puff up.

“No miss, where might I feel fed up. I am happy because the lady will not continue to be silent pensive again during the trip and certainly the lady who talks about the lady will be more jealous to see the lady close to the princess.” Lili replied excitedly along with her crisp laugh.

Charlotte just smiled hearing what Lili said. Shortly while tidying up some items, there was the sound of the door being knocked from the outside. Charlotte orders Lili to open it immediately. A tall, white man was standing behind the door while closing his hands back, and Lili rebuked him. But when the man turned around, Lili spontaneously called out to his nona. Due to Lili's scream, Charlotte hurriedly approached him and asked.

“What's Lili? Why are you shouting?”.

Lili simply pointed towards the man standing in front of the door.

“Prince Wilix? What do you need until you visit my room?” Ask Charlotte.

“Can I log in first?” Prince of willix.

“Oh of course, please enter.” Charlotte sends Prince Wilix in.

They sat in the chair that Charlotte and Lili used to use when relaxing. Charlotte and Prince Willix face each other.

“Before do you have time? I want to talk to you, just the two of us.” Prince Wilix asked as he glanced at Lili who was still quietly standing beside Charlotte.

Upon hearing this, Charlotte orders Lili to come out and leave the two of them in her room. Hearing the orders given, Lili left and waited at the door. One lady saw Prince Willix enter Charlotte's room. The lady went to see Melinda and told her what she saw a few minutes ago. Hearing this immediately made the brown-eyed lady pemilk furious.
