Episode 3: Princess Emira

Geck.. Geck.. Tok. a mansion servant knocked on a room.

“Excuse me princess. Breakfast is ready, you have been awaited by all the ladies at the dinner table” said the waiter conveyed the information.

The door slowly opened, a beautiful woman in a pink dress walked out of her room. How could all the Ark kingdom men not fall for him. A beautiful woman who was wrapped in elegance as she behaved. Yes, who else if not the daughter of Emira Wilden Ark, the only princess of the Ark kingdom. In addition to her beauty, princess Emira is famous for her warm and gentle attitude towards others.

In the dining room all the lady Ark were talking to each other while waiting for the arrival of princess Emira. Charlotte was silent alone. She felt a little awkward, Charlotte was not an active person in the noble social events. He is more comfortable interacting with his literary books than gossiping while accompanied by tea. Not long after that the man who was waiting arrived. All the ladies stood up to welcome the arrival of princess Emira. All the ladies saluted as they said.

“Greetings to princess Emira, good morning princess.”

“Good morning, let's start the breakfast.” Answer princess Emira.

All the servants prepared dishes for the Ark lady. The food began to arrive, all the ladies ate their own food quietly. At the dessert, no one spoke. Everything seems reluctant to start a conversation because there is a daughter Emira. Finally, Emira's daughter said to break the silence between them.

“Why is everyone silent? Doesn't anyone want to talk? I like eating only alone.”

“Sorry princess, we feel confused what we can talk about when there is you.” Answer one of the Ark lady.

“Why to be confused. Even though I am a princess, I am still a normal teenage girl like you who likes to talk about teenage girls in general. Oh yeah, what's your name?” Ask princess Emira.

“I'm Melinda daughter of Marquess Dean Markoes family Ark.” The lady answered the blonde owner.

Breakfast was finished, then continued to tea. All the ladies talk to each other without feeling awkward again with princess Emira. Especially Melinda, she casually chatted with princess Emira as if she had been very close since long ago.

“Yeah princess, I didn't think that you also like various types of gemstones. I think we'd be a good fit to be close friends.” Melinda.

“Ah yes, hopefully we can make good friends.” Answer princess Emira.

Suddenly comes the personal servant of princess Emira and whispers something to her.

“Everything I'm sorry seems like I have to go first because my brother prince Rigan called me to meet him. You guys please continue drinking the tea.” Princess Emira.

After princess Emira leaves, all the ladies continue to drink her tea including Charlotte. Because of her courage, Melinda was immediately admired by several other ladies.

“Ah no, at first I thought it was a little difficult to interact with the princess but it was not. Plus we have the same interest in gemstones so it is easier to talk.”Melinda answered confidently.

Again Charlotte just quietly listened to the other lady's conversation. He had no interest at all in taking part in any topic. While Charlotte was playing her teacup, a lady beside her greeted Charlotte.

“Hallo, I am Julian daughter of the Viscount Augustus Delion Ark.” family Julian said with a smile on his lips.

“Hallo, I'm Charlotte Doengus Ark. Nice to meet you.” Charlotte replied in a slightly soft voice.

“Doengus? Oh my goodness, you are the daughter of Duke Phillip Doengus Ark?” Julian asked in surprise.

Because of the sound that Julian made, all the ladies turned their heads towards Charlotte. That was why he preferred to be silent and not stand out in the slightest. He knew how popular his father was among the nobility because of his proximity to Emperor. Feeling uncomfortable being stared at by all the ladies, Charlotte decided to leave first to leave the tea banquet.

“I'm done, then I'll excuse you first.” Charlotte said, leaving just passed by.

On the other hand even though Charlotte was gone, all the ladies were still talking about her and it made Melinda feel unhappy.

“What's so great about being Duke Phillip's son?” Melinda asked with a bit of sarcasm.

“You don't know, Duke Phillip is very close to Emperor and the Royal family.” Answer one of the Ark ladies.

“Then why if Duke Phillip is close to Emperor or the royal family. It does not guarantee that his son is close to the royal family. The proof is that Emira's daughter does not recognize her, but Emira's daughter talks more to me that she just met.” Melinda said confidently.

Hearing this all the lady fell silent and thought that what Melinda said was right. After the tea banquet ended, all the ladies prepared to continue their journey. It was not long before the group of Ark lady began to leave Dali city.
