Jarvis touched Floretta's arms. "Flo-"
Jarvis's hand was taken by Floretta. "Don't touch me!" he then flipped his body. Back tears wet her cheeks, Floretta quickly wiped them rough.
Jarvis lost his temper, he hugged Floretta from behind. "Flo, calm yourself."
Floretta who had been hit by negative emotions, thrashed for release. Instead, Jarvis tightened his embrace. They struggle to defend each other's actions.
With great effort, Floretta bit Jarvis' arm, the man's embrace loosened. That's when Floretta flipped over and pushed Jarvis so hard that the man's body hit the door.
"Never touch me with your filthy hands!" screeched Floretta, his shoulders heaving with hunting breath, his tears signaling a deep heart wound.
"I'm here to warn you that Dael and Rosalie won't hate you one day, seeing your behavior outside of your girlfriend's home. That digital trail will be there for the next one" Floretta fiercely pressed.
"I feel like we're getting enough of this marriage than you're piling up in pain for my kids. You can unite with her in marriage instead of infidelity" scrappy Floretta looked at Jarvis who had straightened his body that was almost hollow because it was strongly pushed by her.
"Flo, don't repeat the farewell. That's never gonna happen!" reply Jarvis held back emotions.
"Me and Alleta are long over. Just two years of our relationship at the beginning of our marriage, after which we are no longer in touch to this day," Jarvis explained.
Floretta folded his hands together in the chest while laughing discordantly, laughing at his own head. It wasn't just two years, Floretta turned a blind eye to whatever Jarvis was doing outside the house.
She used to tell Jarvis not to interfere in her husband's affairs outside the house. He only wanted to get married, to be Jarvis' wife and the mother of his children. Though without the love of her husband, Floretta is sure to stick with her own love.
However, the longer he feels tired, especially now, where social media is so fast spreading scandal. He remembered his children who would be the victims of the effects of his father's illicit lust.
"I don't care how long you've been in a relationship with any woman. I only care about my children." Floretta's words pinched Jarvis's feelings. Floretta was not talking about them, but his children.
So unconcerned was Floretta with the woman she was related to? Was Jarvis and their marriage relationship not as important as the man thought about how infatuated Floretta had been with him all this time?
Jarvis was discouraged. The woman who had been accompanying and serving him so well turned into a different person.
"I think I mean it's been delivered, I wanna get out. Move away."
Jarvis is eager to be selfish by detaining his wife and says a lot about his relationship with Alleta Nicoline. However, such a deed would make Floretta even less fond of her.
The man shifts his body, giving Floretta a chance to get out of his room.
Floretta recalls his plans for a partnership with Alice Bouwer. If he is divorced by Jarvis, then his life will not be borne by Jarvis again. Floretta needs to do activities that bring in money. Alice promised to be with him.
"One more thing I want to say" Floretta said in a low and calm tone. Jarvis pays attention to his wife, he hopes Floretta changes his attitude.
"I'll start working with Alice in a week. When the kids go to school, I'll come out and arrive before they get home."
Jarvis was shocked by his wife's decision. Floretta is a woman who dedicates herself to being a wife and housewife. At the beginning of the marriage, Jarvis once told her to work, instead Floretta asked to stay at home to take care of her husband until their two children were present.
Of course Floretta was not lacking, so the decision to stay home was not an obstacle for them.
As Floretta walked towards the door, Jarvis again blocked his path. He held the doorknob that Floretta was about to open. Their hands touched, unfortunately Floretta's strength was not enough to lower the doorknob.
Floretta pulled out her hand. "What are you doing? What else do you want?" he asked with a burst of emotion looking at Jarvis.
"Should that be my question for you? On what basis do you want to work outside the home?"
Floretta snorted at Jarvis' question, throwing his gaze aside.
"I want to be outside. Being a housewife has made me so far not creative and easily fooled," he said.
"Stupid? Who fooled you?" challenge Jarvis. The man felt his wife's accusations were baseless.
"Wasn't staying home was your choice then? You yourself said 'want to serve me by being a stay-at-home wife'" Jarvis recalled Floretta's past decisions.
Floretta shuddered, Jarvis apparently remembered what he had said. The man often behaves like he heard nothing when Floretta said something. Jarvis' response was always cold, not even giving a response every time Floretta spoke. This was enough to make Floretta fixated that her husband had saved her speech first.
"I'm the one who fooled myself, not you" he said, hoping their conversation wouldn't last.
Jarvis shook his head. He looked at his wife who often appeared with simple makeup. His white skin and blond hair are enough to make many men will love Floretta. Not to mention if the woman teases with a sweet smile and soft speech.
However, all that seemed to disappear in the strong wind, there was almost no remaining figure of the cheerful and patient woman Floretta.
"I don't agree with your decision."
Floretta's views immediately turned to Jarvis. She looked at her husband. Jarvis's attitude that objected to his desire, made Floretta pounded with annoyance.
"I'm not asking permission from you, it's just a notice. Like it or not I'll work outside, make money, build relationships, be an independent woman who doesn't depend on my husband for my life." That passionate word ended in a trembling of sadness. Floretta's eyes heated up, remembering what Jarvis' husband was like, the thump he flipped over and walked towards the window while hugging himself.
Being a wife who lives alone and lonely, wraps up Floretta's feelings. He hates having to cry in front of Jarvis. A man who lived many years with her, but not a little love was ever given. Floretta had been begging affectionately from her husband.
Floretta was really tired of the feeling and the state of her household. He just hugged all this time, until he realized himself. His gaze pierced through the window, falling into the flower garden he nurtured.
The flowers bloom because they are cared for lovingly, while the marriage relationship is not as beautiful as the flowers in the garden. The flower was even much luckier than a Floretta.
Floretta's shoulder fell and shook. Floretta cried in silence while hugging her arm. He hoped Jarvis would get out of the room soon so they could stop talking, if necessary ignoring each other.
Sturdy arms wrapped around Floretta's waist and abdomen. Jarvis's head was attached to Floretta's head. Floretta could hear her husband breathing. The woman suddenly broke away with a thrashing until her crying was no longer contained.
"Let it be like this, Flo," whispered Jarvis tightening his arms. It's not that Floretta's body is getting calmer shaking violently in Jarvis' arms.
"Are you that angry with me? To the point of no longer wanting to be around me, avoiding me, yelling in front of me, and deciding everything on my own?"
Just a sobbing in response from Floretta, the woman locked her mouth not wanting to say a word.
