CAN I LET YOU GO?

CAN I LET YOU GO?
Alone at the Hospital

Stephanie looked at Mandy.

"Who wants to scold my sister?"

Jarvis remains uninterested, still hiding behind a hospital blanket.

"Alleta did a live show, conveying her son as an older sister, even confidently calling her sister never loved sister Floretta."

Mandy can't wait to reveal what she just saw. Not yet finished, Mandy decided not to watch it anymore.

Jarvis opened his eyes, he remembered Floretta and her expression last night.

"The woman is still looking for trouble with me" Jarvis said with a turbulent feeling of uncertainty.

"What did Mandy say, right, Jarvis?" ask Stephanie who was so sad to see her second child was plagued by many problems.

"No, Ma."

"Then, how could he be as confident as it was revealing in public?" ask Stephanie in wonder.

"Are you sure you're not a big brother, while the affair really happened?" Mandy asked me something else.

"Didn't you do something to stop his talk in the media?" Stephanie continued with a stifled growl.

Jarvis clucked, Stephanie and Mandy swiped at him with questions that made his brain dizzy.

"My people are investigating, is there any involvement of other parties who want to destroy. The boy was also still hidden somewhere by Alleta. I can't be rash to act." Jarvis tried to explain the problems he was managing one by one.

"And for infidelity. Just please understand that at that time I was forced to marry Floretta. Mama did not forget as the party who also urged Floretta to be the daughter-in-law of the mother," Jarvis recalled to his mother.

Mandy scrunched her forehead in surprise, quite flabbergasted listening to Jarvis say.

"Is there anything I don't know about the past?" tanya Mandy charges an answer.

"That's just the past, Mandy," continued Stephanie. "Don't think too much" continued Stephanie to calm Mandy who was so curious about her brother's past, Jarvis. Stephanie shone a spotlight on Jarvis so as not to continue with her remarks about the past.

Mandy continued her curiosity. "Why didn't you ever get along with Jadden's brother?" Mandy wants to relate today's events to the past to get answers.

As a sister, Mandy is interested in knowing the cause of her two brothers why they often quarrel. Mandy's position is wrong if he is close to Jarvis in Jadden's eyes, even though Mandy has been getting along with Jarvis.

As Jarvis was about to answer the truth, Stephanie paused. "That's just a big sister problem, Mandy. It's not something to exaggerate."

Stephanie has always been a mediator, unfortunately whenever there is a problem between the two both Jarish and Stephanie never really seriously talk about it with her two sons.

Jarvis and Jadden have never been able to connect properly. So often the neglect of the problem is done since childhood, as a result of the buildup of problems lasts into adulthood.

"Mandy, your brother needs a break. We'd better go home" Stephanie took Mandy's hand.

Mandy actually still wants to dig up information from her brother. However, a series of Stephanie tightened in her hands so inevitably Mandy also came out of Jarvis's nursery.

After being left alone, Jarvis immediately grabbed his phone on the nightstand and called the person assigned to find out information about Alleta.

"Temporary news, Alleta needs funds for the treatment of her son who has chronic blood cancer. He opened the secret to the public with the aim of atoning for his guilt over his daughter's condition."

"You need to be careful Sir, one of your close people knows Alleta. I found someone with the Meyer family vehicle approaching the Alleta residence, unfortunately when he was about to enter he realized there was a stalker and immediately left the place."

Jarvis was stunned to hear the new fact. "Do you recognize his face?" asked Jarvis with high curiosity.

"No, Mister. Her appearance in the trench overcoat, it's still hard to recognize."

Jarvis understood that reconnaissance efforts were not easy because they had to be done secretly. "You must also mobilize your men to find out where Alleta's daughter is, too" Jarvis ordered. "I suspect he did not live in this city but rather was cared for elsewhere."

"Good, Sir. Get it done immediately."

Unfortunately, on the third call, Floretta did not respond to his call. Bad thoughts raged in his brain.

Last night after Floretta revealed her heart, there was no response from Jarvis to what Floretta felt during her marriage.

Jarvis, who had been used to coldness for years, did not expect that his wife thought he was unwanted and unloved by Jarvis.

Jarvis is upset about his marriage, ceasing his relationship with Alleta after a two-year marriage, having nearly three children, struggling financially as the head of the family, it wasn't enough to open his wife's eyes to how Jarvis really felt.

Busy work more on camouflage Jarvis feeling. The betrayal of Alleta makes Jarvis not easy to express feelings of love to anyone. Later Jarvis realized the reversal of his condition.

"Women's heads are complicated" Jarvis told himself.

The divorce word expressed by Jarvis was more at the insistence of Floretta who constantly wanted a separation from him. Jarvis feels like a bad husband for not meeting Floretta's demands.

Moreover, Mandy's report about Alleta's live shows that have indeed been revealed in the past is a truth. However, at that time Jarvis was right not to love Floretta.

Jarvis felt dizzy with the problems that were afflicting him. Jarvis felt Floretta's heart was getting further away from him, change after change could be felt from Floretta.

It was impossible for Jarvis to feel Floretta had changed if Jarvis had no feelings for his wife.

"Flo, you're more complicated than taking care of my company" Jarvis said, clasping his hand firmly.

Not long after, a nurse and a doctor entered Jarvis's ward and performed a physical examination.

"How about the doctor, when can I go home?"

"You seem impatient to want to go back," the doctor chuckled. "For the condition of his own ribs still need treatment can be done outpatiently. There's nothing to worry about as long as you follow the doctor's care instructions."

"Tomorrow I can go home, I need to convey some important things to my wife or the person who takes care of you next."

Jarvis flinching as doctor alludes to wife. Today is no longer the same as last.

"The doctor can tell me straight away, my wife won't come here."

The doctor was astonished to hear Jarvis because Floretta's presence last night showed how attentive Floretta was as a wife. Not feeling his business, the doctor just nodded in acceptance of Jarvis' words.

"Mother... Where is dad? I didn't see yesterday." Dael who had just been picked up from school felt uneasy asking for his father's whereabouts.

"Dad. went out of town."

Dael breathed a long sigh as if he was tired. "Are you as busy as you used to be?" Dael's face implies sadness.

"I was disappointed with my father, preferring to be busy with work. I'm glad to see you at home."

Floretta had no idea what to answer Dael's little question. His lies make Jarvis seen as a father who does not care by Dael.

How will Floretta explain about the divorce of his father and mother, if now Dael is disappointed with his father.

It could be that Dael will consider bad parents because they cannot maintain a household heresy.

"When you go ahead, you're less and less at home, what do you think?" Floretta tried to dig into the view of a child.

"I'm sad, I think Rosalie is too. I'll be mad, I think Rosalie is too."

"Dad has to work. Maybe mom will work too, for the sake of your future."

Dael who was sitting next to Floretta looked at his mother. Dael understands work must be done by adults, but work will keep him away from his mother's father.

"I don't like to hear it" said Dael, holding his side and turning his back to Floretta.
