Chapter3: Forced to Live Together

Adiva did not expect, overnight his status changed, from an ordinary girl to the wife of an unknown man. Let alone knowing his origin, his name alone does not know. The circumstances that befell him now made him confused. 

His eyes tried to glance at the man beside him trying to find an answer to what had just happened. But the man didn't budge a bit. His eyes closed as if to endure the pain he was suffering. 

"Don't look at me like that!!" said the man with his eyes still closed. 

"Why do you know I'm staring at you? Your eyes are closed."

"What do you want to ask?"

"Why are you marrying me? What the people accuse us of is not true."

"I don't want them to continue to corner you and I'm forced to decide to marry you."

Silence..it is not such an answer that Adiva wants. Does that guy not know what he's thinking. They kept quiet for a long time until Daniel opened his mouth."What was your name? I forgot again."

"Ceekk,, Adiva Maharani," answered Adiva while heckling. 

"I'm Daniel Narendra. Do you live here alone?" ask Daniel. His eyes looked around Adiva's house. 

"Yes, my parents died ten years ago" Adiva replied. 

"Do you have a brother?" ask Daniel again. 

"No. I live alone here without any relatives."

"Well then, I don't need permission to take you to my apartment and live there."

"What's!? I can't possibly die from my parents' second home. Are you out of your mind!?"

Daniel grinned at Adiva's answer and question. 

"Who here is not sane? Have you forgotten your status now? And what is this? Do you work as an office girl? I could've easily gotten you fired from there."

Adiva instantly froze. Both of his hands clenched firmly restraining emotions. He wanted to hit the guy in front of him. Man is arrogant and so cold. In his heart he asked what kind of man Daniel was.  

Tok.dok… 

The sound of knocking from the front door came back, blowing away Adiva's daydream. 

"Open the door!" daniel's orders, "maybe it's my secretary coming,"

Adiva immediately moved and opened the door. 

"Sorry miss, I'm here to pick up sir."

"Come in, Kevin!"

Kevin went into the house through Adiva just like that. Daniel sent a message to him to pick him up at Adiva's house. 

"Did Anindira call you?" ask Daniel. 

"Yes, several times the madam contacted me and asked the master," Kevin replied. 

Hearing Daniel say the name of another woman Adiva asked, "who is Anindira?"

"She's my wife" Daniel replied. 

Degs… 

Adiva was surprised to hear the statement of Daniel who turned out to have a wife. His heart was beating rapidly as if what Daniel said was a time bomb ready to explode. 

Adiva's body trembled what if his wife knew Daniel was remarried, and this marriage was done only because the accusations of the citizens were not true. It is a husband and wife relationship without marriage ties. 

"Did you have a wife?" tanya Adiva stutters. 

"Why don't you tell the people you already have a wife? That way none of this will happen."

"Will they believe?" ask Daniel. 

Adiva just sculpts without knowing what to answer. 

"No! They just believe what they see without wanting to know what really happened. Not that you saw it. How they keep cornered you. So accept now what has happened, BE MY YOUNG WIFE."

Daniel stresses the word in order for Adiva to accept this forced marriage. 

"And even though you have become my young wife, I will not claim your rights."

"Pursue rights?" ask Adiva wonder. 

"Yes, serving me includes intimate affairs of husband and wife."

Degs… 

Adiva's heart is racing again. There's no way he should serve Daniel let alone have sex. They were not forced to marry because of love. Even though he knew that Daniel deserved it all. 

"Now quickly clean all your clothes! From tonight you will stay in my apartment!" 

"I've lost, I don't want to leave my house. This is my only parent's treasure." said angry Adiva. 

With a slow step Daniel approached Adiva, making him step back until he hit the wall. Daniel's hand locks Adiva's movement. His face approached, whispering in his ear."I'll demand my right here if you don't obey my orders."

The breath of Daniel that touched Adiva's skin made him unable to wart. Staring at a face that was only five cent away with a confused look. Daniel who saw Adiva's expression smiled. When Daniel's hand was about to touch the button on the top, Adiva held it."What are you gonna do?"

"Didn't you hear what I said?"

Adiva brushes Daniel's hand. He walked to his room and grumbled at Daniel.

"Tell Anindira that I have a sudden business out of town."

"Good sir."

"And one more thing is to find out the woman's origin."

An hour of Adiva's time to pack all his clothes. 

"Come on!" take Daniel when he sees Adiva dragging his suitcase. 

"Wait on! Can I visit occasionally to clean the house and stay here?"

"We'll talk about this later. We better get going, my body's tired."

Adiva followed Daniel without speaking again. Seen by the simple building sadly, all the memories with both parents and grandmother Ayu stored tight here. He exhaled slowly, turning to the car that was ready to drive him to Daniel's apartment. 

The car also drove splitting the silence of the dark blanketed night that was still thick. Daniel leaned his head trying to rest for a moment, while Adiva saw every road he passed from the windshield. 

The apartment that will be occupied is a luxury apartment that is quite far from where Adiva lived before. His steps followed Daniel back to the front door of the apartment. 

"Come in!" tell Daniel. 

"Your room is over there and this is the key to entry. So we both hold one key."

So tired today that Daniel went through, that he could not wait to rest his body. Adiva went to Daniel's appointed room, locked it from the inside. 

"Huuff, really, this is like a dream to me. How can I be the young wife of an unknown man? And how am I supposed to explain to his wife if she ever finds out?"

Various questions arise in Adiva's brain, until he fell asleep because he was too tired.
