Chapter 24: The Standby Husband

Daniel stared strangely at all the ingredients on the dining table. His mind was struggling, what to do with the ingredients. 

"Why? You don't want me to make lunch?" ask Adiva. His face began to sting. 

"I don't want to, honey. It's just that I really can't cook" Daniel said. 

"Lost open youtube, Mas. Find the tutorial," said Adiva. 

"What do you want me to cook?" ask Daniel. 

"Chicken soup" answered the wife briefly. 

Daniel scrunched his forehead and muttered, "chicken soup."

Adiva nodded. 

"What if it doesn't taste good?"

"Yes already. Don't cook," ketus Adiva.

Seeing his wife's mood change, Daniel was astonished and deepened, 'what mood can a pregnant woman change quickly?'

He had to ask Sarah this question, so that in the future Daniel knew what to do so that the wife's mood remained good. 

Daniel immediately started the action to cook chicken soup that Adiva wanted. About the taste is not good that is important he is difficult to fulfill the desire of the wife. 

He also started washing some chicken pieces and vegetables, while accompanied by a tutorial video from youtube how to cook a good chicken soup. Starting from how to cut vegetables to sort out what spices should be included in the chicken soup. 

While Adiva passed to the room to rest, while waiting for the cooking made Daniel cook. 

In addition to cooking, Daniel's phone rang. The screen is named after Kevin's assistant. On the stove he turned off immediately, and shifted the green icon. 

"What's up, Kevin?" ask Daniel. 

"Sir, Agus and his men have been caught" explained Kevin. 

"You'll get rid of them soon."

"Good, Sir."

There wasn't much conversation between the boss and his assistant. Daniel cut off his phone unilaterally. He also resumed his activities to make chicken soup which was delayed briefly. 

While on the other side, Kevin could only sigh, he understood the words of his big boss. To immediately bring Agus and his men to a remote island, as punishment for the crimes they committed. Daniel did not believe in the laws of the land. Laws that can still be bought with money to be free or just ease the penalty. 

An hour more has passed. The chicken soup is cooked and ready to be served. Daniel took the bowl and poured the soup. He smiled at the results of his first cooking, inwardly hoping that Adiva would like his chicken soup. 

You can imagine how messy the kitchen space controlled by Daniel. The first person to cook is simply to fulfill what his wife and his future child want. 

Ambyar. 

"Eready cooked? I'm so hungry" whined the wife. 

"Here you go" said Daniel, offering a bowl of soup that he had made earlier. 

Adiva immediately sat down and wanted to taste it. 

"Be careful honey, it's still hot" Daniel said. 

However, Daniel's warning was ignored. So Adiva dipped hot when the soup entered the mouth. 

"I said be careful! The soup is still hot. Why don't you listen to my warning?" jolt Daniel. 

Hearing Daniel's words a little loudly, Adiva lowered his head and said, "sorry…."

Adiva came back sad, made Daniel sigh, he actually did not mean to say that. 

Then he took the initiative to offer himself, "want me a bribe?" 

"Can I?"

Daniel smiled, "of course I can. But wait a minute, wait for the soup isn't too hot."

"Yes." Yeah."

While waiting for the soup a little cold, the couple chatted with each other, joking around until the sound of their cheerful laughter echoed in one room. 

It feels like it can be eaten and the hot steam of the soup has not steamed. Daniel painstakingly fed Adiva like a child. 

"Nake?" ask Daniel. 

"Lumayan" replied the wife. 

"If you are not full, the pot is still there" Daniel added, and answered with a nod by Adiva. 

Daniel was very happy in his heart. It was his first time cooking, and it didn't taste so bad. With the greedy Adiva ate, making Daniel did not think that his wife was so hungry. And from now on he will be a standby husband for his son and wife. Fulfill every wish of the future mother and her future baby.
