CHAPTER 28

The young man was seriously behind his laptop. There were already some documents that he needed to finish immediately. After ending the drama this morning, he now has to spur himself on to focus on his work again.

What just happened was nothing new to her. Facing the model who always makes problems he has done repeatedly. But, every word he uttered never entered the woman's mind. I don't know what else he had to do to make him aware and understand.

The time has shown at 10:30, passing an hour more than his words that will contact Anin this morning. The cell phone on the table he immediately picked up to contact his wife. Ask him if he has had breakfast or not done it at all.

" Yes Shan", he picked up his phone. Anin's voice sounded a little whisper. Shan guessed that he was in his class.

" Are you still in class?"

" Hm yes, but my lecturer is out" Shan's guess is not wrong. Anin still has hours of college. " I ate a piece of bread for breakfast. You called me to ask that, right."

" Have you eaten breakfast for fear that I might meet you there?"

" No, I'm having breakfast because someone's worried about me starving."

" Really?"

" Hm, so don't be so good."

Shan laughed because of Anin's insinuation.

" Well, then I close, study is good. I'll pick you up."

" You forgot, today I'm going home late."

" Oh yes, today you will eat together with your lecturer. I'm sorry I don't remember that."

" It's okay. So, I'll call you later, when and where, I'll be picked up."

" You want me to pick you up?"

" Of course."

" All right, I'll wait."

" Shan, yes, lecturer Anin has come," he concluded the conversation.

Shan only looked at his phone because Anin suddenly turned it off.

" Well, Anindira, I'm glad to hear you say such a simple thing, but you never know that it means so much to me."

Shan immediately gasped as soon as he heard the sound of the door opening, he knew very well who the person behind the door was. The one who enters without knocking on the door first. He just smiled as he saw who came in such a hurry.

" I heard Mentari came here?" adrian asked while putting a drink on his desk. Shan grinned at the question of his best friend. He came all the way to his place just to ask such a thing.

" It's fast that the news reached your ears" Shan said, halting his activities. He looked seriously at the interlocutor.

" What I don't know quickly" he said confidently. " So what's he doing here, Shan? did he make a fuss."

" You think?" shan asked back as if he was playing with the curiosity of his best friend.

" Why play guessing like this, piss me off." I want it to feel like Adrian hit this friend who was playing with him.

Shan's satisfied laugh had made his friend become annoyed.

" He said just bored at home" Shan replied in the end. " That's why he's here."

" Yes, one of them."

" Have you said it?"

" Say I'm married?" Adrian is nodding. " Of course, what am I hiding from Mentari for"

" And I guess, she doesn't believe you."

" Yes, you know how she does."

" I don't like that you help him constantly. He's crossed the line."

" Hm yes."

" I told you I was careful with him. We'll never know what he'll do. Putting aside pity, he was not the same person anymore. There's been an example of how your relationship and Nada ran aground."

" I know."

" I met Nada yesterday. He's asking you how."

" Oh yeah, why is he asking me?"

" I don't know, I met him anyway because I just happened to meet Anthony."

" Oh."

" But I think Tone is unhappy, there's an uncomfortable look on his face."

" It was a decision he took, married to a playboy like Anthony. I gave him time, but he chose to go."

" I know. I'm not talking this way to make you remember it anymore, but at least we used to be close friends with him."

" Anyways I've got Anin, discussing other women makes me uncomfortable."

" The child of Anin's love."

" It seems you're talking about yourself."

" Cih.., basic."

The woman they were talking about was named Nada Saraswati, a name once imprinted on Shan's heart. Getting to know and have a relationship for so long, but it does not guarantee that he will be with her until the end. He who always makes Shan's days full of happiness, in the end the one who makes bitterness in his life.

Nada is a friend of Disti when sitting on the First Intermediate bench. They were very close friends with him they were like brothers. Where there is Nada there is Disti, and vice versa.

Shan likes Nada at first sight when he accidentally meets her at a cafe. At that time he would meet with Disti and Adrian in the same place, but what happened Shan instead met with Nada. It turns out that behind all that the two couples are the ones who want to bring Shan and Nada together.

From an accident was born a very special relationship between them. The relationship was very long established and Shan thought that he would continue his relationship with Nada to the marriage stage. But man can only plan, but God has power. A disaster happened and somehow it started.

An endless misunderstanding, a mistrust that always pervaded the heart of Nada made their relationship finally crack and end. Even though they already know who is behind it all, but the relationship that has been destroyed can not be restored as before because the heart is frozen.

Since then, there was no news from Nada, until one day Shan accidentally heard that the idol who had stopped in his life was married to a successful businessman but known as a playboy.

Disappointed, maybe a little disturbing because he used to have big plans in their relationship. However, the disappointment did not necessarily make him drag on because he knew the figure of Anin.

It was Anin who had made him forget the bitterness in his relationship first. Knowing him made Shan seem like he was breathing again. The woman who has now become his wife and will always take care of her until anytime.
