CHAPTER 16

Anin who went back into the room at last did get the question of where Shan went. As per Shan's request, Anin simply replied to what Shan told him before he left earlier.

" Did Reno's secretary come to pick her up?" adrian asked Anin.

" Yes, brother" he answered.

Disti and Adrian stared at each other, as if they were communicating only through the eyes and understood each other with their own intentions.

" Try Shan's phone, I'm afraid something happened to him" Disti told her husband." It's not usually Shan like this."

" Yes, I'll call the boy."

" Hm.," he nodded.

Anin just saw Adrian coming out of the room. He looked at Disti who then smiled when he found Anin looking at him.

" You worried?" he asked, Anin shook her head. " Are you not worried?"

Anin was silent for a moment.

" Is there anything serious?"

" Say he's not worried."

" It's not so big brother."

Disti smile. " All is well, nothing to worry about."

" Really?"

" Hm..," he nodded.

" Disty." Adrian came in and called out to him. " Stay here, I must go."

" What's up?"

" The Mentari is doing it again. Now the reporters come storming into his house."

" Yes, please take care of Shan, right now it's definitely going to make things difficult for him."

" Okay, I'm leaving."

" Yes."

" Ready," Anin murmured upon hearing the name.

Disti looked at Anin whose face changed as soon as she heard Mentari's name mentioned.

" Anin, Disti boy, here. Why stand there, said Mother told them to sit in an empty chair.

" Yes Mother" said Anin.

" Yes Aunt," Dysti said again.

Shan and Reno's secretary waited in the car not far from the famous model's house. Shan observed a group of reporters waiting for Mentari to leave his house. Many times he checked his phone just to see incoming messages.

Before long Mentari came out, the reporters did not waste the opportunity to ask for clarification of the news that had already spread. It seems that Mentari is silent only a thousand languages pass through those who try to block his path. The beautiful 23-year-old woman got into the car after being escorted by several bodyguards.

He smiled at the man next to him. The man who always helps her in any moment, who is always with her in her time of need. A man who never welcomed his feelings for years, but he was always happy when he was with him.

" Shan's.."

" This is a warning for you!"

Shan's angry face made Mentari become scared. He knew what he had done was a big mistake. Her career as a big model could be ruined in an instant if Shan was not next to her.

" Shan, if only you could open your heart to me, I wouldn't be like this."

Shan only silent a thousand languages. He didn't want to talk about what Mentari said to him. For the time being Shan was tired of answering all those questions.

" I just want your attention Shan. I'm doing this so you care about me, care about my feelings. I don't want our relationship to be just a business relationship, I want more Shan. I don't find a man who can make me comfortable like this except you. Don't you understand how I feel?"

" Run is enough, I can't accept your feelings and that's been said many times. Look for a man who can accept you and give you comfort. Stop this scandal you're doing just because you want my attention."

" Shan...."

" Reno stop here!" edict Shan.

Reno stopped the car as his master ordered it.

" Shan, where are you going?" she panicked because Shan opened the car door.

" Take Mentari to the hotel to rest, try not to let anyone know where he lives."

" Shan...."

" Have a rest" Shan said, closing the car door.

The car then drove away leaving him alone on that quiet road. Shan glanced at his watch, time already showing at 12 p.m. The night gets colder bone-chilling in addition to the fall of the rain spots make the night colder.

Shan waited at a stop, sheltering from the heavy rain. Many times he checked his cell phone, hoping that the person in the future would come soon.

" Do you need a ride?" knock someone out of the car window.

" Cihhh. I almost froze to death here," Shan said as soon as he knew who owned the car.

" You want me dead so much."

Adrian laughed happily at his best friend.

" Where did you take Mentari?"

Shan let out his breath. He glanced at Anin, inevitably he had to do it so that his Papa would believe him.

Shan pulled the girl's hand without warning. Grasping his hands tightly.

" I will marry Anin" Shan said firmly.

Suddenly all eyes were on the two lovebirds, they were astonished by his words just now.
