That night was a day of mourning for the families of the victims of the blasting of the modest restaurant where Ree worked.

As with all those who were saddened by the incident, a woman was gulping at the wine in her hand in shock at the news of the blasting.

The woman sat on her bed with five cans of wine she had prepared on the nightstand to calm her mind. He stared blankly to the left and saw the dark sky from behind the window.

"I almost died. But as if God still prevented my death" the woman muttered through her face and chest.

"It seems not yet the time, Ree met Mommy in heaven" he said smiling wryly as he put an empty can of wine.

That woman is Ree. Hardworking woman who lost her job tonight. Not only was his job lost, but his life was also almost lost.

Ree was shocked to hear this news. Shock because his life was almost gone.

Ree was not sad to see the lives that died in that incident. What's more, the dead are friends working there. It's just that his sadness is just pity. He was even more sad because his job was gone.

For 12 years living out of luxury, Ree became a different woman. The young lady who used to be spoiled, cheerful, jaily, and always brought laughter, also turned 180 degrees.

Ree became a quiet, hard-going and hard-working woman. He has no friends and no one wants to be friends with him. Before changing his name, he continued his schooling.

The flashback

After Ree prepared in his casual suit, he immediately left for work.

Ree had arrived at the stop to wait for the bus. Shortly after, a bus stopped in front of him. The bus passenger exited and Ree stood up to prepare to board the bus.

Until a grandmother fell down and shouted for help. Initially Ree's eyes only focused on the back door of the bus. But when she heard a scream, Ree turned his head and saw a grandmother fall on the front door of the bus as it was about to get off.

No one helped my grandmother. Even the person coming out of the front door of the bus is just indifferent and has no intention of helping.

"Grandma's okay ?" ree asked immediately to help the grandmother.

"Do you have no eyes! There's a granny in pain and you're not going to help her!" ree yelled at the people around him. While everyone just frowned looking at him and did not press Ree's scream.

Ree snorted in annoyance. He helped the grandmother to sit at the stop. And before long, the bus that Ree was supposed to be on was gone.

"Hufffhh" Ree sighed to ease his frustration. How could no one care about a grandmother lying on the street from falling off a bus ? Her thought.

"Grandma's okay, son. Thanks for helping grandma. Grandma can't walk. Can you help grandma get home, son ? Grandma's house is not far away. All my grandmother's friends to buy massage oil" said the grandmother with a sad face like she was holding back pain.

"Alright, Grandma. Ree help grandma get to granny's house. Don't you need to go to the hospital, Grandma ?" Ree sat down next to the grandmother and saw the grandmother's leg which was swollen from a sprain.

"No need to go to the hospital, son. Let the grandmother do it herself. You're quite a temenin granny. You want to ?"

Ree climbed the stairs with a can of wine in his hand.

When he got to the roof, Ree immediately looked for a comfortable position to look at the sky while drinking wine. Ree sat on the roof of his house. His feet dangled down and in his motion. He looked up at the sky and frowned.

"Squeaky... Why are there so many stars tonight ? Though it rained. Hmm I don't know" he murmured when he saw the sky that turned out to be filled with stars.

"Again, I don't know about astronomy. Hmm... astronauts or autonomy ? Hmm. what is the name, which is clearly a lesson about the solar system. I was just a school graduate conscious. Basic Hehehe" Ree grumbled as he smiled to himself. Maybe the wine has started to react. Moreover, he had already spent one can of wine in his room earlier.

Ree is strong when it comes to drinking wine. Back when he had problems, he always drank wine. Because people say, wine can be soothing.

Ree really likes to hear people. And this is one of his weaknesses.

Ree opened his wine can and gulped it down three times. He looked at the star-filled sky with a can of wine in his hand.

"Mommy, Ree is tired" he said, putting the rough can beside him.

Ree closed his eyes. Tears from her eyelids fell. Those gray-colored eyes opened and stared softly at the sky.

"What work will receive me. Cccc... Why is work so hard" Ree huffed. He covered his face with both hands. Then rubbed his face.

"Savings are up, salaries this month are not paid because of the explosion, jobs are gone. Why am I so pathetic. Huh..how could the man of my dreams look at me like this. If this keeps up, it'll be a long time" Ree took the can of wine.

Ree looked down at the can of wine in his right hand. Shedding the contents slowly to empty.

Ree looked back at the stars in the beautiful sky.

"pffmh... If I were just a man, I wouldn't bother thinking about my marriage and finances" Ree said, exhaling tiredly and squeezing the empty tin still in his grasp.

"What did I say ? I think I'm very drunk. Heheh... I'd better go to sleep" he murmured, smiling wryly, realizing that his words were vague and impossible.

Ree throws an empty can of wine in any direction. Then rushed down from the roof of the house, using the stairs that he was using up.

Ree slowly went down the stairs. When he reached the stairs close to his open window, he immediately jumped into the room.

Ree closed the window glass door tightly. Walk to the right side to pick up the sleeping clothes in her wardrobe.

After changing his clothes, Ree was on the bed. He glanced at the clock above his nightstand which showed at 11:45 PM.

As is his habit of reading every night, this night is also the same. She opened her nightstand drawer to look for reading books. His eyes found a book he had never read.

"When did I buy this book ?" ask in the heart. Take out the book and close the drawer.

"Is this a book about romance ? I'm curious. I'd better read it" inwardly as I open the book.

When he opened the first sheet, Ree frowned. His left eye is raised.

"The feeling between love and hate is very close to the heart. Between love that turns into hate and hate into love. Only a decisive moment" he muttered reading the opening words on the first sheet of the book.

Ree opens the next sheet. And it turned out to be empty.

"What book is this ? Why is it empty ? Tsk...I think grandma gave it to me. There's not even a preface to this book." Ree opened each sheet to the end.

"There is only a short word at the beginning, middle and end. Reading the word at first is already annoying because it is so not quality. What was that ? The feeling between love and hate is very close to the heart. Between love that turns into hate and hate into love. Only time determines ?!" gerutu Ree repeated the words he read at the beginning of the book in a mocking tone.

"Sad... This time I read a book like this. Luckily I didn't spend any money on this ugly book. Just the first word, let alone the first and last word ? I am lazy to read it. It's boring!" Ree throws the book in every direction. And immediately take a position to sleep.
