The Unusual Wedding Scenario

The Unusual Wedding Scenario
Up 3

"Huhh..just a dream" Ree awoke from his sleep from a dream. He saw a clock on the wall of his room that showed at 3 am.

Ree immediately got out of bed. Tied his hair original. He ran downstairs. Step into the kitchen. Take a glass and pour the water in the kettle into the glass for him to drink.

"Why do I have such a strange dream. It must be because I read too many novels, making my imagination to the point of bringing me those weird dreams. And maybe also, because I was thinking too much about what Mommy said last night" he murmured after drinking the full water in his glass.

Ree sat himself on the chair and propped up his chin. "Akhs... Dream of marrying a woman ? I'm still normal, God. Huh!" Nibbling his temple while remembering the dream that woke him.

Well... Ree dreams of being on the wedding altar. People say he's getting married. It made Ree curious about the man he was going to marry. But instead of the man who came, instead a woman whom he could not remember her face came to him. Holding her hand and the woman said to Ree, "I'm ready to marry you". That made Ree stunned.

"I'm going to marry you. Let's say the sacred promise, baby" said the woman hugging Ree's arm. Ree finally woke up and covered his ears.

"Don'tkk.....!" ree shouted loudly and ran away from the altar. He looked behind him, the woman was chasing him making him even more riled up. He ceaselessly shouted in a dream. Until finally he woke up from his sleep and saw his bed was a mess. The rollers and sheets were already on the floor.

After feeling calm, Ree got up from his seat. Step towards the stairs. Intend to go back to sleep. It's still 3 o'clock anyway.

But Ree's steps came to a halt near the nightstand. He looked at the blue-colored book dongker on top of the nightstand. Take that book. But then he put it down again. Because he heard a sound falling from his mother's room.

Ree ran to his mother's room. Opening the door of a room that is never locked.

"Mommy!" she screamed when she saw her mother lying on the floor. Ree ran to his mother.

"Mom. Why is this so ? Mommy!" she screamed when she got no answer from her mother. He immediately took his cell phone in his room.

Ree held his phone trembling. Type a number to call the ambulance. After calling the ambulance, he went downstairs to his mother's room.

Ree hugged his mother and cried to his mother.

Julie was unconscious on the floor. But for a moment, Ree felt a movement from Julie. Ree immediately cupped his hands to the mother's cheek.

"Hiks. hyks.. Mommy" Ree rubbed his unstoppable tears.

"Sorry.kan... Mommy, Honey. All this time, Mom was just a burden... Mommy wants a put.ri...Mom, happy" said Julie brick.

"Mommy's not Ree's burden. Ree was happy there was Mommy next to Ree.. hiks"

Julie took a deep breath and continued her words, "Mommy really wants li.at you.at.wikah, but seperat.tinya not bi...sa" Julie rubbed the cheeks of her daughter who was crying and hugged her.

"Mommy can! Sure can! So Mommy needs to heal. Mommy don't stay in Ree. Ree is getting married. Ree promise! Ree, Hiks the hyx" Julie who heard Ree's words smiled.

"Ja.ngan crying. Keep on living and being happy. Ree is my put.ri Mommy." Julie's speech stopped. He breathed and slowly closed his eyes forever. His heart rate has stopped. Ree felt that in his arms. Her heart was so sick, left behind by the only person she cared so much about. Now he's on his own. And that made her tears not stop.

The siren ambulance sounded. The people outside Ree's house were rowdy. Ree was crying.

Someone came to lift up his mother's body. Ree was silent in his tears. Shortly after, he fainted.

"Lose again" he said.

POV Ree

My eyes opened looking at the blinding light of the lamp. I felt someone's hand rub my hair. I don't know who that is.

Faintly, I saw the old man's face. But his face was not clearly visible. I blinked my eyes. As my gaze began to clear, the hand rub in my head also disappeared along with the shadow of the old man.

When I got down, I glanced to the right of my house. There's a door to someone's room that left me. Room that is unfilled. It didn't feel like 7 days, my mom left me for good. And for those 7 days too, every morning I felt the rubbing of someone's hand that always disappeared when my vision was clear.

Losing the figure of Mother who always loved me after my father's departure really shook my heart. But anyway, I have to accept it. Because it's all a destiny I can't change.

I put my foot to the left of my house. Downstairs there is only one room and it is on the right side of my house. On the left is the kitchen and bathroom.

I made my breakfast first. After that I took the bathrobe that I had hung near the bathroom.

I walked to the bathroom lazily. Ever since my mother died, I feel like I don't have the spirit of life anymore. But I always remember my mother's message. "Keep living and being happy". And it didn't make me end my life.

"That's what... Mommy really thought I was going to kill myself after her disappearance. How could Mommy say that word" I said and slowly my tears came down along with the shower running down my face.

After I finished the bath, I rushed to my room. Replacing my bathrobe with a shirt and jeans. Don't forget I'm wearing a watch and a sweater.

If you think about what kind of job to wear this casual outfit, you'll know later.

I walked to the dresser. Wearing a thin powder on my tanned face. I took a bright red lipstick and put it on my thin lips. But at the end, I remove the lipstick so it does not look striking. My hair is dry, I comb and high quintet.

After looking at my appearance, I saw my watch that had already shown at 06:30. I grabbed my bag and got out of the room. As I walked down the stairs, my eyes glanced to the right and looked at my mother's room. Usually my mother would kiss my forehead and say a word of encouragement to me before going to work. But now, everything has changed.

"I miss you, Mom" I muttered and continued my steps. Take the sneakers that are placed behind the exit. I was silent when I saw the shoes I was wearing. My mother's shadow picked up the shoes as I was about to leave for work, still vividly remembered in my memory. It always happens when I go to work.

"Can I be happy, Mom ?" my mind and get out of the house. I locked my door and immediately ran to the bus stop.

I saw my watch showing at 7.

"Hufhh" I could only sigh in relief when I got to the stop on time. Because there are buses that stop.

I got on the bus and sat by the window. Before long, the bus was walking. And when my destination was in sight, I stopped the bus. Pay 15 grand on his kernet and get down immediately.

I went into a simple restaurant by the side of the road. From the outside, there are already many parked truck cars that indicate there are many customers.

I entered the restaurant with my usual smile.

"For Ree" said one of the servants named Nandini.

"Morning too" I replied to him and walked towards the kitchen.

I saw a lot of plates piling up there. And it's my job to clean things up.

"Hufhh. Ree's spirit" I said to encourage myself. This became my habit when I started my job.

I work as a cleaner in this restaurant. A simple cleaning service restaurant might be cool to describe my work.

I've been working here for 5 years. Despite working here for a long time, my job has not changed. "At least go up one level to be a servant" I thought. I was once looking for another job. But no job would accept me, who only had an elementary school ijaza.

I used to move my workplace. But the job I got was just a newspaper handler and a dishwasher. There is no progress to rise to a higher level.

Actually, I went to junior high school. But when I went to 3rd grade, my family was destroyed. And as a result, I had to drop out of school and only had an SD diploma.

My salary every month working in this restaurant is 1.2 million, with work from 7:30 to 5 pm. And there's his meal allowance.

It's so exhausting to work like this. Moreover, I used to be a forgotten young miss of the Oswald family.
