In the afternoon on the bridge which became one of the icons of City X, the middle of the crowded filled with lovers who were enjoying the orange sky. The bridge is always crowded in the afternoon until evening. There was even a small merchant selling his wares.

The atmosphere on the bridge of City X is not only filled with lovers. Many people who come there even look for a soul mate. Same is the case with a woman who is staring nanar towards the orange sky and both hands holding the bridge barrier. Sometimes he glanced to the right and to the left and found the romance of the couples who make the soul of his virginity thrashing.

A 25-year-old woman who has a singles status from birth. Her name was Reese Oswald. Today marks his 25th birthday. And he hopes to let go of his retirement on this bridge. At least he can avoid his mother's nagging about getting married when he comes home later.

Ree released his hand on the bridge. Intending to leave behind a sight that drains his virgin soul. "Oh.." complained Ree as he felt pain in his butt. He looked at the man who hit him. But the man just stared flatly at Ree. And said, "Ck, use your eyes and feet properly" and ran away leaving Ree cursing himself.

Ree looked at the running man's back after making him fall. "Heiii.... You shameless man! You hit me, I'm to blame. The insolent! What a bad-ass! It's irresponsible!" he cursed the man. But she did not realize that all eyes were looking at her pity. Because they assume that Ree is a woman who has been shown by her lover after giving everything.

It is only natural that people think like that. Because the people on the bridge are not focused on the real situation. They are more focused on connecting with their partner. This led to such speculation.

"Well, she must be ugly. So, cover his face with a mask. Cihh... is ugly, insolent anyway! I wish I hadn't met that ugly person" his grunts incessantly with a voice that had been slowed down.

He swore a grouchy oath to the man. Until one of the old merchants approached him. A grandmother wears a black hat on her white-haired head. He patted Ree on the back and said, "It's been nagging him. Come with Grandma" the grandmother pulled Ree's hand.

The retracted Ree simply remained silent and nodded his head. He walked after the grandmother, until he stopped at one of the trading stalls on the side of the bridge.

"Grandma's merchandise, who knows you are interested in buying this old Grandma's merchandise" he said taking a position behind the merchandise that has been lined up at a fairly wide table.

Ree looked at the merchandise the old grandmother was selling with sparkling eyes. The old grandma sells unique items that can even be said to be antique. But Ree's wry eyes were fixed on the one thing that attracted him. As if hypnotized, Ree picked up the object which was an old blue dongker book with a cover with a picture of a clock and a pair of lovers. The book had only one there and that was what attracted him

"This" Ree said showing the book he had chosen. The grandmother smiled mysteriously and said, "Good choice. Hope you get your happiness"

"How much should Ree pay for this book, Grandma ? Honestly, Ree loves to read. So Ree took this one" he said with a smile on his face.

"Take it, and consider it a gift from grandma because you saw you treated like that by the man" said the old grandmother.

"So grandma saw it ?" ree asked seriously and answered a nod of the head by the grandmother.

"Gee... Grandma must be on my side, dong. That guy was so rude! Bla blah blah." cried Ree relentlessly nagging to let out his annoyance at the man. The grandmother who heard it just shook her head and tried to stop Ree.

"Calm down young man. One day Grandma will be sure you will be happy" he said, and Ree finally lifted his call.

"Then, Ree went home first. Lagit also wanted to dark" she said and left the place after getting a nod from the Grandmother.

The granny smiled mysteriously looking at the back of the woman who attracted his attention. Ree, who felt that someone was looking at him, looked back and saw that no one was holding him. Even Grandma and her merchandise that she had just seen, were nowhere to be found. He looked a little at the incongruity. But a second later, thinking that Grandma must have left immediately after giving him the book in her hand. Actually, there was still something stuck in his mind. Given that it is impossible to move goods in a short time. But he bodo very much with it and throw away the strange thoughts that think Grandma is a ghost.

"There may be ghosts in such a place. The ghost must have escaped first. Especially if the ghost is single. Hahaha" he chanted and continued in his footsteps.

After a 15-minute walk, Ree finally arrived at a small two-story house. The 10×5-sized house will be found after passing through a narrow alley so that there will be no luxury cars passing in front of Ree's house. Because the alley can only be passed by a motorbike. This house witnesses Ree's life with his mother for 12 years after a terrible incident that made his life rotate 180 degrees.

The sad incident was when he heard the news of his father's death which became the backbone of the family and became the pride of the family. Ree and Ree's life collapsed upon hearing the news. The family that used to be very rich, respected, and known to everyone in City X, has now been turned upside down. Ree, who was born as the only young lady, had to remove the title when she was 13 and had to bone down to help her mother make a living. Because after his father's death, somehow, the wealth he had also disappeared. He also doesn't know why it could be.

When she started complaining to her mother, she just said it was fate. Huh.he knows this is fate, but there must be a trigger. And until now, he had not found the answer.

"Mommy.... Ree's coming home" I shouted open the door and locked it. I entered the house hugging the book that the old Grandma had given me on the Bridge earlier. I glanced back and forth, looking for the figure I missed after coming home from work. Until my footsteps stopped in the kitchen. Where there is already a figure that I miss is struggling with the vows.

"Home home, Mommy's beautiful daughter. Come sit down, honey. Mommy cooked really well today" said my mother left the stove that had been turned off and hugged me tightly. I put the book I was holding on the nightstand near me. After that, I returned my mother's hug which felt very warm. My mother let go of her embrace, and I glanced at the food that turned out to be really good.

"Wow... Mommy cooks great. Mommy, where'd you catch a chicken ?" I was thinking after seeing the menu today was chicken. Because in my last 12 years of life, chicken has become the most expensive food I can eat. Even if I eat well, it must be with the neighbors. Every day, I usually just eat rice, tofu, tempeh, and salted fish. This is done to save expenses. To be more precise, I ate that stuff. Because my mother can't eat food like that.

"Caught under the bridge. You stupid kid!" my mother knocked my forehead.

"Ouch... Mama!" my sigh rubbed my forehead.

"Of course Mommy took the savings, to buy chicken. Especially if it's your birthday. So the food, it should be sepeciiiaaallll" continued my mother in a happy tone of voice with a smile.

I hugged my mother because I was moved. Although a little upset because the savings money was supposed to be for my mother's medical expenses after the previous savings money ran out to buy this rental house.

My mother of the last 7 years had a heart attack which resulted in her not being exhausted. Until finally, I had to work hard for the cost of eating a day and the cost of Mother's medicine. My mother was asked to have an operation. But we don't have much money for that operation. And the only way, mother only take the road. On condition that you can not work and eat foods that are lined up, of course, on the advice of a doctor.

"Coward" said my mother sniffing my shirt as I hugged her.

"Mom!" my whinek put on a sad face because it was mocked like that.

"Wake up first. Smell acem gini. No, Mommy told you to eat. There.." pushed my body into the bathroom.

"So I was told to sit down, now take a shower" I cried in a low voice, so that I could not hear my mother's ear. But I could only fit in to the only bathroom in our house.

"Mommy's on responsibility! Ree didn't bring a towel" I shouted in the bathroom.

"Not using a towel is also okay Ree. At home, there was only Mommy. Hehehe. New Mommy can't see. Hahahaha" my mother joked with a light laugh.

"Mommy....! have mercy on your son" I cried in a spoiled voice so that my mother would be slightly touched. But I heard his laughter as I shouted at him in my powerful voice. It's been like this a lot, and eventually the word "Married" will come out of my mother's mouth. Though I thought my mother would never say that sacred word again, considering that today is my special day. Especially when looking at my mother's attitude that welcomed me earlier with a warm embrace and their smile.

"Huh" I could only sigh as I imagined the dinner table battle later, when discussing about marriage. I have to prepare my ears to hear the talk about the wedding later.
