The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder

The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder
The Struggle Begins

In a simple house made of old teak wood with furniture containing books in Arabic neatly arranged, there sat two men.

"You sure?"

"Yes, Bah. He's coming."

The shady and loving-faced man earlier, looked at his son with a gentle smile.

A few minutes later, a man in his trucker jacket walked into the room. Walk with his knees. I saw the two men sitting next to me. Smear the backs of their hands with reverence.

"How are you, Le, Zay? Healthy?"

"Alhamdulillah, Abah."

"Over your age, I've been talking to you and my son."

"Great honor to me, so the subject of conversation goes with both."

Zayan lowered his head, he began to doubt whether he should discuss this with his teacher and spiritual teacher.

"So, is this a problem with the supernatural?" The man, who was only five years old with Zayan earlier, started talking.

"Yes, Gus."

"You haven't changed, Zay."

Zayan recounted all the events that Mesha had experienced to the two pious men earlier. Ask for advice on what to do about the woman he loves.

"So, you want to marry and try to fight that guy said a curse?"

"Yes, Abah Kyai. I was determined."

"Are you sure of the consequences?"

Zayan nodded steadily.

Salim laughed at the steady words of his father's disciple earlier. Then, he lowered his head, closing his eyes. Opening his eyes, he looked sharply at Zayan.

"You actually have help from nature there too. So, I hope, everything will end well. There are some recitations of dhikr and verses that can help you as well. Practice it, then leave it all to the Gusti of God."

"Excite, Gus."

After Zayan's departure, Salim smiled. His brother, looking at the face of the son.

"You sure he'll make it, Le?"

"Wallahu a'lam, Bah. Depends on your intentions and efforts."

Elsewhere, Mesha was sitting watching the wild window from where he was sitting. It was early morning, the customer had not arrived.

Mesha was shocked when he saw a woman he knew a few days ago, getting out of the car. He stood up to welcome her.

Sri who read Mesha's movements, stood up, walked up to the woman.

"I want to talk to you, four eyes!"

"Me, Ma?"

"Yes, you!"

Kartika pointed at the table and chairs in the corner of the stall. Submissively, Mesha came there. Sri who felt invisible, retreated and looked at the two women from a distance.

"No, no need for pleasantries. I just want to warn you, stay away from my son! No matter how much you love my son."

Mesha was shocked by the sentence he had just heard. Then he lowered his head.

"My son, Zay. You have the right to have more women than you. So, I'm just asking for your understanding."

Withstanding all the raging feelings in his heart, Mesha lifted his head.

"Yes, Mom. I understand, I understand. And I'll do what mom wants."

"Good! Then I go, I go."

Kartika nodded as she looked at Sri, then walked out of the stall.

Isak Mesha's cry is restrained, heard by Sri. The woman felt tightness in the chest when she heard the words of Kartika earlier. He gently patted the shoulders of his favorite adopted daughter.

"What should I do, Mom?" asked Mesha in a soft tone of voice, between sobs.

Sri was silent, she could not say anything. Only a hug could he give at this moment.

That night, Zayan talked to his grandfather.

"Bahkung, Zay has been to Kyai. Then tell me everything Echa's been through."

"Then?"

"Gus Salim who was clairvoyant about the soft nature, gave the practice of dhikr to fend off the creatures that shadow the life of Echa."

"Otherwise? Just practice. But remember, there are consequences when we come into contact with that nature."

"Yes, Mbahkung."

Nirwasita came just as the two men were still discussing. He read the second sentence of the man. Until Zayan realizes his presence.

"Grandfather? Why just listen?"

"Actually, there's a lot I want to tell you, Le! But first, look at this."

Nirwasita asked Zayan to extend his hand. Then touch that hand, and share his past memories of Caraka.

"So, Grandpa Nirwasita knew that thing?"

"Yes. I told you, I created that pair bracelet, not without purpose. If the two bracelets are put together. There's my energy stored there, the same energy that Caraka has."

"So, that's why it can't get close to me, cake?"

"Yes, but whatever it is, it is all regulated and by the will of the Almighty. We're His creatures. I can only try."

Zayan decides to meet Mesha, as soon as possible. He wanted to ask the whereabouts of the couple's bracelet that the woman had kept. Because, he never saw the bracelet coiled around the lover's wrist.

The next day, early in the morning, Zayan had parked the bike in Zulkifli's shop. The man who owned the stall, smiled when he saw his arrival.

"What is this, Mom? Come here early in the morning? I haven't opened it."

"That, Sir. Echa ... uh, Indi has it come?"

"Oh, he. Usually seven o'clock just comes, ma'am."

"Oh, so. Yeah, I'll go to the office first, sir. Come!"

Until lunchtime, Zayan returned to Zulkifli's shop. However, he did not find the woman he was looking for. Even he was surprised when Sri told about the arrival of his mother, Kartika, yesterday.

Without thinking, Zayan drove his motorcycle to Mesha's house. He knocked on the door of the house.

"Who's looking, Mas?"

"Echa there, Mom?"

Mayang was surprised by the figure of the man standing before him. He was sure that the man must have been his daughter's childhood friend, because he knew the call.

"Whose name?"

"I ...."

Zayan was shocked when he heard Mayang's story. Turns out, Mesha was gone yesterday afternoon. To the city where his best friend is studying. The woman wanted to find a job there.

"I have forbidden the child, but he insists, Mas. But he promised me the weekend would come home, anyway."

"May I know the address, ma'am?"

"Wow, I don't know, Mom. Only to contract Zafia in the city of K. It's."

"Oh, yes, thank you, ma'am. Then I'm sorry."

Zayan kissed the back of Mayang's hand respectfully as he exited the house. Then he put on a helmet and started the engine.

"Eh, Mum. But who is this, really?"

Zayan smiled, confidently, he said, "Mother's daughter-in-law."

Mayang surprised. However, Zayan's motor was already away.

"Didn't I hear wrong?" mayang Mummings.

Arriving at Bental Swarga's office, Zayan sat pensively. At Mesha's house, he saw the same figure he had seen a few days ago. The same figure he saw in Nirwasita's memory. Caracas. The man looked at him sharply. Challenging.

"Where should I look for you, Cha?"
