The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder

The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder
CHAPTER 15: His departure.

"Mas! Gi Mas! Open your eyes, Mom! Please!" yelled Mesha in between sobs.

The footsteps of several people running around began to be heard approaching Mesha's room.

"What's up, Nduk? Why are you screaming?" ask Mayang who first arrived in front of Mesha's room.

Mayang was wide open to see the scene in front of him, as well as the people who came later. Giyan lay with her head in Mesha's lap.

"Mas Gi, Mom. Mas Gi ... that guy! that freak, he's gonna hurt Gi mas!" ceracau Mesha is still sobbing.

"That guy? Wh who? Where's?" sahut Mayang panicked.

"Wes, Ms. .. wes, it was helped first," Bagas said trying not to panic.

Then he pleaded with those around him, "Father, Kang, please .. please help lift le Giyan first."

Mesha shifted his body. Then, some people began to lift Giyan up onto the bed.

"Mom, please call Wiryawan's family, let him call an ambulance." Bagas hurried to pick up his cell phone which he used to put on the desk and started calling, on the other hand, Mayang grabbed the phone handle to contact the Wiryawan family.

Meanwhile, Mesha still sobbed, but she did not dare to approach her husband who lay motionless, a sense of dread, and fear enveloped her feelings. He just stood there in place.

Moments later, the sound of ambulance sirens roared breaking the silence of the night.

"Sir, you don't have to come, you're at home, yes" Mayang said before he entered the ambulance.

Mesha did not answer a word, he complied, and returned to his room.

On the wedding bed still adorned with beautiful flowers and fragrant, Mesha sat hugging her knees, her whole body trembling.

"I really don't want this marriage .. ta—but, I ... I also don't want to mas Gi wretched, I have to how? Whahuh? What the hell's going on? Is this all my fault?" mesha muttered to herself, with a trembling voice.

In the yard, a car stopped. A girl came down, and walked quickly into the house. He broke into Mesha's room. Her heart was sad to find her sister-in-law sitting alone hugging her knees, hiding her face and crying.

"Mbak .. mbak Mesha, it's me" he said.

Mesha looked up his head, his cries getting broken as Grisa hugged him with gentleness.

"Udah, Ma'am. Udah, we just pray, may-may mas Gi not why-why yes, Ma'am ..." said Grisa calm Mesha, patting his back.

"This ... This is all my fault, my fault!" Mesha started crying hysterically again.

Maryam watched her daughter and daughter-in-law cuddle in tears, from the front of the room. His heart was broken, but he tried to calm down. He walked up to Mesha, stroked his daughter-in-law's back, lovingly, saying, "Have, Nduk, Sha .. no, it's not your fault, it's been, it's been." Then he continued his words, "Gris, you take care of your mother yes, the father of the same mother followed to the hospital."

"Yes, Mom," said Grisa.

After Maryam left the room, Grisa propped up Mesha who was sitting leaning on her. The atmosphere in the room was still silent, only the sound of Mesha's ashending voice was still heard.

"Mas Gi, will it be okay, to?" asked Mesha in a loud voice.

"Yes, Ma'am, hopefully ... Ma'am Sha rest yes, let Grisa stay here."

Mesha.

A few hours passed, still no word from the hospital. Grisa went back and checked her phone. Naughtiness! While Mesha, he fell asleep next to him. Suddenly, Grisa's hair bristled, he began to circulate his gaze around the room, but he found nothing.

Early in the morning, the Wiryawan family car stopped in front of Bagas house. Mayang and Bagas got out of the car.

"Mesakne you, Nduk .. why you should have such a fate ..." muttered Mayang as he entered the house, Bagas walked next door, wiping it out.

Grisa stumbled to hold back his drowsiness, then he saw both of Mesha's parents go into the room.

"Mom, sir, how? How about Gi?" grisa asked by lowering her voice.

Bagas lowered his head, Mayang smothered his mouth and started as he pleased.

"Le Giyan, it's not there .. the doctor said, heart attack ...."

Grisa's eyes widened, he still could not believe what he heard.

"Can't be! Mas Gi is healthy, fit, and sporting! No! No way, maybe Mom and Dad heard it wrong!" grisa's rebuttal was accompanied by tears.

Bagas is getting down, sad.

Mesha woke up, he rubbed his eyes, seeing three people crying before him.

"Father, mother, where's mas Gi?"

Mayang and Bagas fell silent, only a sobbing was heard from their mouths.

Grisa hit Mesha, her cries getting louder.

Mesha tried to understand, the body cues of the people before him. What he caught, that Giyan had gone forever brought all the love for Mesha.

Mesha pecked, even he could not express his sadness, as if his tears were drying up. Mesha's gaze was sweet, empty, while those around him were crying.

An ambulance carrying the body has arrived at Bagas' residence. Maryam and Wiryawan came down from the ambulance. Neighbors around started coming. Some of them even began to help all preparations for the recovery of Giyan's body, including preparing a temporary shelter. Tarub, which was previously used for weddings, is now a tarub to shelter mourners.

Mesha walked closer to Giyan's stiffened body, Grisa sobbing holding her arm. He opened the cloth covering Giyan's face slowly, and looked at Giyan's face which began to turn pale with a smile on its back. She rubbed her husband's cheeks one last time, then let out a cold, reactionless brow, just that.

Mesha was really like an undead, not crying, expressionless, his gaze was blank. And those around him looked on with pity. Everyone who comes gives comfort, not at all. Even when Grisa left her for a while, she remained unmoved, leaning her body against the wall, like an abandoned doll.

Zafia came when the day started to light, she replaced Grisa accompanied Mesha. Grisa helps with all the funeral preparations.

Zafia clasped Mesha's hand. He realized that Mesha was still in his pajamas. Zafia sobbed, sad, seeing the current state of her best friend. He took the initiative to lead Mesha into the room, and help change clothes.

It was getting late, all the preparations for Giyan's funeral were done. Grisa rushed into the house after the procession of the body was completed. He headed towards Mesha's room, he nodded politely to Zafia then asked gently, "Mbak ... Ma'am Mesha would like to join in the mas Gi?"

Mesha.

Mesha walked slowly behind the coffin, flanked by Zafia and Grisa. He had not spoken until the funeral was over. He was resting in front of the tomb when some mourners began to leave the cemetery.

Mesha stroked a headstone bearing Giyan's name.

"I'm sorry, mas .. I haven't even been able to give you what you want most even in the last moments, my heart ..." said Mesha softly. The increasing guilt, made her cry again break. Grisa and Zafia hurriedly crouched down to calm him down.

While some of the mourners were still watching the incident, began to rumble.

"Kasian ya mbak Mesha, just a bride a day, has been left her husband ..." whispered one mourner to another mourner.

"Ho oh, the marriage book is not finished yet, jan ...."

"Hush! What are you guys on? Come home! Do not forget about a place like this!" the other lowered his voice.

"Yes, yeah. Come on!"
