The Ghost Story of LESTARI

The Ghost Story of LESTARI
2. Unpleasant at Heart

"Well, where's my phone?"

Nilam looked busy looking for hp in his handbag.

Tomi who was originally going to transport the other items was forced to return to her room again, passing through the ghost of Lestari, who was, piercing the body of the ghost that still stands in the middle of the door of Tomi and Nilam room that leaves the door open.

"What's the matter, baby?"

Tomi approached the wife.

Lestari floated following Tomi trying kepo.

"Hp Bang, that feeling in the bag, there's no yes."

Patchouli like panic.

The tape? Hmm he's looking for tape. Batin Lestari's.

"Maybe in the car left behind, I found ya, you rest."

Tomi.

Lestari looked at Tomi who was so attentive to Nilam, she became jealous to see a man whose face was very similar to her heart lover was so attentive to other women who were busy looking for tape.

Tomi will come back out of the room, while Bik Surti knocks on the door.

Although the position of the door of the room was open, it was natural for a housekeeper to ask his employer for permission to enter their private room.

Bik Surti appeared to be carrying a tray with two glasses of warm tea.

"Mother Tomi is taking a bath, just asked me to make tea water with lemon slices for Mr. Tomi and Mrs Nilam."

Bik Surti told Tomi.

"Yes Bik, just put it on the table, Nilam let drink first, also prepare warm water for later bathing my wife after Mother ya Bik."

Tomi Pinta.

"Yes, sir, ready."

Bik Surti nodded.

Bik Surti brought a tray of tea glasses with slices of lemon into the room, when he was about to enter he had a glance at Lestari and signaled that the ghost did not interfere.

But the ghost of the Dutch none smiled, as if no matter the gesture given by Bik Surti.

Bik Surti sighed as he saw Lestari hovering following Tomi out of the room and walking out of the house.

"Big..."

Nilam's call suddenly startled Bik Surti.

"Oh yes, ma'am..."

Bik Surti tergopoh walked up to the beautiful young Madam.

Her face is similar to that of the beautiful artist Princess Marino.

Nilam appears to be sitting on the edge of a bed made of wood with a regular foam mattress. The wooden bed with an old model on the head of the bed there is a small cabinet made of glass. The mattress looks neat wrapped in batik bed linen patterned peacock blue color combination of white and black.

Bik Surti placed a tray with two glasses of warm tea slices of lemon on a small wooden table near the bed not far from Nilam sitting at this time.

The aroma of jasmine tea mixed with lemon slices smelled so refreshing, Nilam asked for a glass for him to breathe.

Bik Surti helped take it for the Madam, who immediately greeted him with a smile.

"What's wrong, madam? Do I need a massage? Looks like Madam is exhausted."

Said Bik Surti.

Nilam seemed to inhale deeply the aroma of jasmine tea is getting more delicious because it is mixed with lemon slices.

It seemed that he then sipped it little by little, reducing the fatigue in his body.

"Bik Surti has been taking care of this house for a long time?"

Asked Nilam while still holding his tea glass.

Bik Surti nodded.

"Have Madam, I took care of this house since I was a girl, my Father and Mother used to take care of this house, and then finally passed it on to me."

Patchouli-mantuk, then...

"That's before this house was owned by a Cooperative?"

Bik Surti nodded.

"It used to be an abandoned heritage land for decades Madam, used to stand a Dutch house, then when the Japanese came, the house was torn down. For decades no one took care, there was a landlord from Sumedang came and built this house, then somehow the story, this house changed hands on one of my Father's distant families, he said, the house was not occupied, left empty and only taken care of by my Father and Mother, until then this house was suddenly confiscated, he said to be collateral in the Cooperative, where he was, and finally it belongs to the Cooperative because he said he did not sell to the auction until many times."

Nilam sighed.

"So you used to stand a Dutch house in this place?"

Asked Nilam with a blank look and a voice that was a kind of murmur.

Bik Surti nodded.

"It used to be in front of it was the Madam's railroad, the train tracks to transport the sugarcane, not far from here there was a sugar factory, so the sugar cane-carrying train went back and forth in front of it."

"Ooh so."

Nilam sipped his tea again, then he looked at Bik Surti.

"Sir, I'm sorry if it's rude, may I ask?"

Nilam looked very carefully afraid of offending Bik Surti.

"It's okay, madam, just tell me, I'll answer any question lady if I understand the answer."

Said Bik Surti making Nilam look relieved.

"Bik Surti, are there ghosts in this house or around this house?"

And that question is obviously difficult to answer Bik Surti.

Assured to be problematic, not feared Bik Surti considered covering up the truth.

"I somehow felt a bad feeling since arriving here, from the big tree in front of the house, until I went into the house, I felt something strange. I can't see them Bik, but I'm sometimes sensitive to their whereabouts."

Nilam said it looked like he was scared.

Bik Surti sighed.

Confused to answer what is better.

Fortunately in the confusion, Nilam's mother-in-law appeared and entered the room, she looked fresh after the bath.

With dark batik negligee and towel-rolled hair, Nilam's mother-in-law approached the daughter-in-law.

"I'm sorry Madam, Mr. Tomi asked me to prepare warm water for Mrs Nilam's bath."

Said Bik Surti tergopoh out, really he felt that he had to quickly avoid Nilam before the woman asked more and more difficult to answer.

"Tomi haven't finished putting your stuff in?"

Tomi's mother saw two large suitcases and three carry-on bags and one small suitcase.

"There's still five boxes in the car, being picked up by Bang Tomi and Bu's driver."

Nilam.

Tomi's mother is slouching.

"The house is comfortable, the building is outdated because of the old model, but the house is actually the important thing is the occupying, so you do not have to think too much about the appearance of this house."

Said Tomi's mother.

Nilam nodded slowly, pretending to agree with what his in-laws said.

Though, that's not the case.

Of course for Nilam actually the most important is that there is Tomi beside him, no matter how the house they occupy that matters there is Tomi.

But...

This is not about the look of the house, but the atmosphere and feeling of Nilam that is not good somehow.

Yes, when they become newlyweds who have to stay away from family, the house they live in also feels like there is a ghost.

That's what's bothering Nilam's feelings.

But, of course Nilam could not say anything to his in-laws.

However in-laws are in-laws, they cannot be like their own parents. Nilam certainly must keep his speech, so as not to be mistaken for spoiled and a lot of behavior.
