Ita returned home after from Risa's boarding house. He was crying and rushed into the house. Ita opened the door and ran towards her room on the second floor.

The forty-five-year-old woman sitting in a wheelchair moved her wheels when she saw Ita running and sobbing towards the stairs.

"Ita," he said softly. Ita was silent at once to hear the call, immediately she wiped her tears and tried to display a face like usual, which is cheerful even though the heart is hurt.

He took a breath and turned around. "Mama," he said then kissed the back of the woman's hand, it was her mother.

"You why? Mama saw you were crying," asked Mama.

"Renaldi," he shouted again and prevented Renaldi by holding his hand.

"Renaldi, Mama please, I'm sorry Mama." Followed by his stepmother.

Renaldi threw his stepmom's hand violently. Then walk back up the stairs. "Renaldi!" mama shouted and ran to prevent Renaldi. But ill-fated, he slipped on top of the stairs and fell tumbling down from the last thirty steps.

Renaldi immediately went down and wanted to help his stepmother, even though he was angry, but he could not hide his affection for his stepmother.

Before Renaldi helped his stepmother, Ita and his father arrived home. Ita shouted and immediately embraced Mama's body. My mother's feet are bleeding.

"Mom why Sis?" ask Ita.

"Sorry Mama Ren" said her stepmother in the midst of pain.

Ita turned her head towards Renaldi, she was carrying a suitcase and a bag. "Where are you going?"

Renaldi realised he had to leave. Renaldi stood up and left without speaking.

His father immediately blocked Renaldi. "What's this about? Where are you going and what's wrong with your mom?"

"He deserves it all." Renaldi answered flat and then left, and got into his car and drove away.

"Well help Mama, we need to get Mama to the hospital." Shouted Ita.

His father just woke up and immediately took his wife to the car.

Renaldi said goodbye to his mother who is in a mental hospital. Renaldi was crying in front of his mother. Her mother focused on writing something in her book.

"Mom, I want to go, for the next few years I won't look at you. I hope you'll get well soon. I'm saying ma'am,"

Renaldi stood up and walked away from Mom.

"Hey, hey kid!" his mother's screams made Renaldi race against the body.

"Be careful, don't forget about me" he said, then giving his notebook to Renaldi. "This is for you, son!"

Renaldi received the book and hugged Mom. And they split up.

From then on, Ita knew his family's past. Her mother was paralyzed after falling off the floor. And his father was sick after Renaldi's departure. Until he died when Ita was still sitting in High School.

His father left the company to Ita. But because Ita is still in school, and there is his father's legitimate son who is still alive, namely Renaldi. So his family's lawyers searched for Renaldi's whereabouts in America. They contacted the former Renaldi school, then contacted the scholarship company for Renaldi. At first they did not want to provide data on Renaldi's address in America. Because Renaldi once mandated that no one knew of his existence in America, including his family, he gave a logical reason to make the company agree. After discussing with the legal lawyers of the Ita family, and telling everything about the division of inheritance, they finally gave a leak about the address Renaldi in America.

They met Renaldi and told him that his father was dead. And Renaldi should take his place in office.

Renaldi came home, it just so happened that he had graduated S1 there with a near-perfect GPA. And he got a scholarship to continue his S2 there.
