Chapter 16

"Hi, Dhan." Say hello to Eva when Dhanny just came out of her study.

Dhanny was not so surprised at Eva's arrival at her office, which she had expected. But Dhanny still prepares for what Eva will do.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Dhanny nonchalantly.

"You don't want to let me in? Or do you want me to tell you the truth about your future wife in front of so many people?" Eva whispered with a smile so wide.

"We're talking inside." Dhanny replies, reopening her workspace and allowing Eva to enter her study.

Eva triumphantly walks into Dhanny's study. After Eva entered her study, Dhanny also entered and then closed the door of her study.

"What do you want to say?" Dhanny asked with an uneasy feeling about Eva's arrival this time.

"Why do you look so impatient? Like not just you." Reply to Eva casually.

Dhanny did not reply to Eva's words, she just looked coldly at Eva.

"alright. I'll start at the point." Eva said as she nodded and approached Dhanny.

"Do you know if Shally's not as innocent as what you believe?" Eva asked with a sigh as if concerned about what Dhanny was going through at the moment.

"He was married and had a child. And according to the sources I trust, he also had many scandals with countless men. His life is a mess."

Eva did not see the shocking reaction of Dhanny.

"Do you know that?" This time Eva was shocked.

"I already know." Dhanny answered briefly.

"And you still want to marry her?"

Dhanny nodded her head and smiled at Eva.

Eva laughed cynically at Dhanny.

"Are you under the influence of spells from him, Dhan? You're not sane. And did your parents approve of your marriage to her?" Eva feels unacceptable to Dhanny who accepts Shalimar so easily.

"I am in a normal state and not under the influence of spells. I really love Shally, what she is, I don't care about the dozens or even hundreds of men she's been with before. After this, she's only mine. I also knew about what had happened to him before we met again. My parents also gave us their blessing. Our wedding will be in a few days. " Dhanny said firmly.

"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Dhanny asked Eva this time with a big smile.

"No way." Eva shakes her head, not believing that Dhanny already knows all about Shalimar and will marry him anyway.

"He can't love you sincerely. He's just using you, Dhan." Eva said as she pulled Dhanny's hand and grasped it tightly.

"Even if he doesn't love me like I love him, I still love him, I won't lose him and I'll make him happy. I won't let anyone hurt him. And if you do something that makes him sad or hurt, I won't look at our good relationship all along." Reply to Dhanny while letting go of Eva's hand violently.

"Is there anything else you want to say ?" Ask Dhanny casually.

"If there's no , please leave 'em, I also have an important meeting today." Dhanny continued while showing Eva the door of her workspace.

"You.. You'll regret your decision, Dhan. And I won't let your marriage run quietly." Eva said then walked past Dhanny and opened the door of Dhanny's study room in anger.

"Let's just try to ruin our marriage, then you won't get anything to screw it up." Inner Dhanny as Eva leaves Dhanny's study.

But Dhanny remains vigilant with all possibilities that Eva will do later . And keep betting on Shalimar's determination if what he will do in the future to keep Shalimar by his side.

Dhanny looked at her phone lying on her desk, it just lit up without any shakes and sounds because Dhanny was busy all day. Dhanny saw who contacted him. And he saw that Mei was trying to contact him. Dhanny quickly calls Mei back.

"Where have you been ? I've been trying to reach you since." May protests when Dhanny has managed to contact Mei.

"What's wrong?" Dhanny asked worriedly, her feelings were not good this time .

"Rendy set me up . essentially she sent something to Shalimar. A recording. Shalimar knows everything about us right now, in not even listening to me to explain everything. Right now he's gonna meet you and say he's gonna cancel your wedding." Mei replied trying to shorten the core of what she had just experienced.

"How long has Shally been gone?" Dhanny asked as she walked out of her study.

"It was an hour ago." Mei replies trying to remember how long Shally went from before her.

Dhanny walked out of his study room, his eyes sweeping across the area where he worked. But did not find the figure of Shalimar.

"I'll look for him. I'll call you again." Dhanny told Mei then closed their conversation.

Dhanny walked towards the main loby of his office with a racing heart. Cold sweat came out from his body, his mind was so chaotic . Dhanny also attempts to contact Shalimar but Shalimar's phone is off.

Dhanny awaits Shalimar's arrival in the main lobby of his company. But there was no sign of Shalimar there. Dhanny also contacts her mother, asking the trite if Shalimar had met Dhanny's mother and attempted to cancel their marriage through Dhanny's mother, but Dhanny's mother also did not meet Shalimar.

Dhanny could feel his heart being squeezed. Why did this happen before her marriage to Shalimar took place. Dhanny doesn't even know Shalimar's whereabouts at the moment. It would be better if he met Shalimar at this time . It would be best if Shalimar vented his anger at Dhanny. But now Shalimar is lost as if swallowed by the earth. Shalimar drives fast to Dhanny's company, wanting Shalimar to berate Dhanny and spill all the anger he feels right now .

Shalimar was walking in a rage when he saw Eva enter Dhanny's study. Initially Shalimar does not care about Eva's arrival there, it increasingly makes him have a strong reason to decide their marriage. Before Shalimar opens the door to Dhanny's study, Shalimar listens to all the conversations between Dhanny and Eva.

Somehow Shalimar did not open that door, undoing his intention of spilling his anger on Dhanny. It may be true what Mei said. Dhanny really loved him. It's just that Dhanny used the wrong way to bind himself and gain Shalimar's trust.

With feelings mixed into one, Shalimar walks away from Dhanny's company and drives without a clear direction. Shalimar tries to think clearly, getting married is not a playful decision. He failed once in a marriage.

This time his marriage was witnessed by many parties and also he really expected different things from the marriage he had experienced with Rendy.

Shalimar couldn't possibly tell this to his mother, nor could he run to Mei . Mei had also betrayed the trust she had all along. Shalimar won't come to Rendy. Shalimar does not know he should thank Rendy or even curse Rendy who has given the recording to him.

In the midst of the eternal he experienced, Shalimar finally thought of someone for him to take shelter for now. Shalimar quickly turned the bow towards the person he had in mind this time.

"Have you heard from Shally?" Dhanny asked Mei by phone.

"Yet. I'm looking for Shally right now. Shally doesn't have much room to hide. I also went to some of her former lovers. However they never get in touch with Shally again, they don't know Shally's whereabouts. Nought." May replied in despair.

"Let me know if you know of his whereabouts." Dhanny said then closed their conversation and concentrated on looking along the path he was on.

Almost all day Dhanny circled the city looking only for Shalimar. But I found no results. Shalimar was not at his favorite bar, nor was he at his place of work. Dhanny was really frustrated by this.

"Shally, where are you?" Dhanny asked inwardly as she fought against the bright lights between the dark streets she passed.

"You should come to me, be angry with me, spill everything on me, don't disappear without a trace like this. I have to what now? If indeed you do not want to marry me because of your anger, I will try to accept it, but I beg ... Don't disappear like this."

It's almost midnight now, and Shalimar is also unknown. Dhanny felt like she could no longer put her foot on the ground. When his phone rang, Dhanny quickly answered the call without looking at his phone screen.

"Have you found him?" Ask Dhanny who thought that it was a call from Mei.

"Who are you looking for?" Shalimar's voice sounded like water running through the desert.

"Wally? Where are you? Did you know I've been crazy all day looking for you?" Dhanny involuntarily shouted while asking Shalimar about it.

"Why are you looking for me? Have you gone crazy? Oh ..No, I'm the one who's crazy. Why can't I hate you. I hate myself." Shalimar said irregularly .

Shalimar is drunk right now. Dhanny knew from the way Shalimar spoke. But where is he at the moment . Dhanny looked at the screen of her phone. Shalimar contacted him using another number.

"Where are you? I'll pick you up now." Dhanny said softly this time even though in her heart was flogging with feelings of worry and also anger.

Shalimar was not in a bar or public place. Dhanny didn't hear any noise around Shally. Where is Shally at the moment? At a man's house? In a hotel?

The various possibilities made Dhanny even more unsettled.

"I? Why do you have to look for me? Why do you want me so much? Aren't you tired of having to love me and sacrifice so much for me ? Giving a lot of lies behind me? You know the more you do things for me, the more I feel guilty for you. Maybe it's better if we don't see each other again, we'd better be the day we haven't met again. You won't lose what you have now either." Said Shalimar starting to bring out what was in his mind at this moment.

"Where are you? Shally, are you listening to me?" Tanya Dhanny tries to resist her desire to find Shalimar immediately and shakes Shalimar's body to say where he is at this time.

"Sorry, maybe you can pick him up now. Shally is currently unconscious. He's drunk really." A man told Dhanny as he took over his phone from Shalimar.

Listening to the voice of the man beside Shalimar instantly made it difficult for Dhanny to control his emotions.

"Who are you?" Dhanny asked firmly and very coldly as if ready to pounce on the man beside Shalimar.

"It's me, Dhan. Typhoon. Have you forgotten my voice? I'm Shally's boss." Typhoon answered while holding back his laughter listening to Dhanny's reaction.

"Where are you guys right now? I'm gonna go get Shally now." Dhanny said while exhaling a sigh of relief.

"Shally came to my apartment, I'll send you my location. Hurry up and pick him up before my girlfriend comes here and misunderstand the situation." Reply Typhoon then broke off their conversation.

Dhanny immediately got a message from Typhoon and quickly drove his car according to the instructions that Typhoon sent him.

"Please wait a minute, man." Typhoon said as he opened the door for Dhanny.

Without waiting for Typhoon to let him enter, Dhanny went straight into the apartment of Taufan and immediately looked for the figure of Shalimar. Shalimar was asleep on the living room couch belonging to Taufan.

"How soon will you find this place?" Ask Typhoon when he is behind Dhanny.

Dhanny does not listen to Typhoon's questions and is busy with Shalimar.

"Wally? Shally, are you listening to me?" Dhanny asked gently as she stroked Shalimar's face.

Shallimar did not reply and only muttered obscure words.

"What drink did you give him? How much did he drink?" Ask Dhanny to Typhoon fiercely.

"He drank the drink he brought himself and began to tell me things that were not clear to me, he was indistinctly angry and cried afterwards." Typhoon answered while pointing at the bottle on the table, next to Dhanny.

"Why do you never listen to me and say what you want to say and ignore me again?" Typhoon muttered as he scrunched his forehead and looked towards Dhanny and Shalimar.

Dhanny carried Shalimar's body easily and stood before Typhoon.

"Never let her get drunk like this in your house. I'll give you tolerance this time. But not next time." Dhanny said as she walked out of the Taufan apartment house.

"Shally herself who came here and got drunk by herself, I also had to listen to stories from her all day. I also lent you my phone and let you pick her up, why am I such a guilty person here?" The Typhoon protests were not ignored by Dhanny.

"You were supposed to keep Shally from coming to my place again. Do you know if he's so troublesome when he's drunk like this." Shouted Taufan when Dhanny had passed the door of the apartment house Taufan.

Dhanny contacts Mei and tells her that she is with Shalimar at this time and asks Mei to give her reason so that Shalimar's mother does not worry about Shalimar.

Dhanny takes Shalimar to his house. Shalimar was so calm this time. Perhaps Shalimar really could not be aware because of the amount of alcohol he consumed earlier.

While putting Shalimar on her bed, Dhanny patiently takes off the shoes worn by Shallimar . Dhanny tidied Shalimar's clothes and gently covered Shalimar.

Shalimar muttered indistinctly and felt uncomfortable.

"Shally, do you want to drink water?" Asked Dhanny while sitting on the edge of the bed.

Shalimar shook his head and sat down for a moment.

"You want to puke?" Dhanny asked as she stroked Shalimar's back .

Shalimar nodded then got off the bed quickly. Half conscious, Dhanny quickly helps Shalimar walk towards the bathroom .

Arriving in the bathroom, Shalimar encourages Dhanny to move away and walk himself towards the toilet to vomit up her entrails. Dhanny stands behind Shalimar and keeps an eye on Shalimar, just in case Shalimar needs his help.

After finishing removing his entrails, Shalimar painstakingly stood up and walked towards the sink. Shalimar opened the sink faucet and started cleaning his mouth and rinsing .

Without saying anything, Dhanny helps Shalimar to stand up properly and walk back to bed.

"Are you feeling better?" Dhanny asked while tidying up Shalimar's messy hair.

Shallimar looked at Dhanny while narrowing his eyes, trying to concentrate on what he was seeing right now.

"My future husband." Shalimar said with a big smile and cupped Dhanny's face with both hands.

"Why are you so good to me, you're making me worry even more, I don't want to let you go. I should how?"

"Don't let go." Dhanny replied with a smile and touched Shalimar's hand which was on his face.

"But I'm scared. I was afraid that I would get hurt again, I was afraid that you would also leave me in the end. From the beginning you had lies to me, why didn't I hate you? I hate myself for that." Shalimar said with an unfocused look.

"I will never leave you. Never will." Reply to Dhanny gently.

"Why do you want to let go of everything you have? Why do you make me feel guilty about everything you've done?" Shalimar Protest.

"Because I don't want to lose you. I've lost you before and haven't even had the time to express my heart. I just have this opportunity and I won't miss it. Even if I lose everything I have, I don't want to lose you." Dhanny answered while rubbing the strands of Shalimar's hair that fell on Shalimar's forehead.

"You're just curious, you ... If you have me, you'll be bored. It's always like that in the end." Shalimar let out a short sigh and released his hand from Dhanny's face.

"Am I like that in your eyes?" Dhanny asked as she clasped Shalimar's hand.

"I don't know. I'm not sure what I think or believe. I want to let you go, but I don't want to lose you either. I .. Why am I so stupid about this?" Shalimar laughed mockingly to himself.

"What can I do to make you believe if I'm really sincere with you? I don't just have the curious feeling of having you?" Ask Dhanny patiently.

"What do you think of when you want to marry me?" Shalimar replied to Dhanny's question with the question she had been silent about in her heart.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you.Building a small family together, quarreling with you then making up again, listening to your babbling if I come home late or you're wanting something but I'm insensitive. If we are just two, we will enjoy every second by loving each other and being grateful for what we have been through so far. That's what I've always imagined." Dhanny replied as she gently stroked Shalimar's hair.

Shalimar looked at Dhanny with shady eyes, if indeed Dhanny loved him sincerely, Dhanny would take care of him all her life. The answer Dhanny gave made Shalimar lose control of his own mind. Shalimar lowered his head while closing his eyes.

"Shally what's up?" Asked Dhanny worriedly.

"Stay away from me, Dhan." Shalimar muttered softly while pushing Dhanny's body with both hands, Shalimar's hand thrust had absolutely no energy.

"I don't want to." Barrel Dhanny quickly and hold Shalimar's elbow.

"Return back." Shalimar said without looking at Dhanny. But Dhanny did not budge at all.

"I'll get out of control if you keep this up." Shalimar finally looked up and saw Dhanny.

His eyes met that of Dhanny's. Dhanny also did not take her eyes off Shalimar, as if their eyes were locked. Highlight Shalimar's sweet and warm eyes made Dhanny also feel the heat in his body, his heart beating fast.

Shalimar pulls the collar of Dhanny's shirt, making Dhanny's face come closer to his face. Shalimar kisses Dhanny's lips quickly, Dhanny is surprised by what Shalimar does to her. Shalimar further deepened his kiss, making Dhanny unable to resist what Shalimar had given her. Dhanny replies to Shalimar's kiss just as hot.

Dhanny pressed Shalimar's back neck with his right hand. Dhanny's breath is increasingly hunting in rhythm with Shalimar's breath. Shalimar grabs Dhanny's shirt button and tries to get her out of place.

Dhanny lost control and was about to remove the clothes worn by Shalimar. With great difficulty Dhanny withdraws herself from Shalimar. Rejecting Shalimar's warm and seductive lips. Dhanny holds Shalimar's shoulder with his hand, away from Dhanny's body.

Shalimar looked at meu towards Dhanny.

"You, don't want me? Didn't you say you wanted to have me?" Shalimar asked as he touched Dhanny's hot face.

"It's not like this." Dhanny replied without moving from her position.

Dhanny ventured to look towards Shalimar.

"I want to have you, not just your body . I want your heart, all for me. Before I marry you, I won't take advantage of the current circumstances." Dhanny said with eyes that looked sharply at Shalimar.

Shalimar smiled widely until his neat rows of teeth were seen among the dim light of Dhanny's room.

"Why are you so sweet?" Shalimar asked and closed his eyes and put his head on Dhanny's shoulder.

Shalimar's asleep.

Dhanny took a long breath. Closing his eyes . Counting one to ten, calmed his mind that was about to spiral out of control. Dhanny quietly laid Shalimar down in a comfortable position on his bed. Dhanny pulls the blanket to cover Shalimar's body.

"I won't use you just because I want to have you." Dhanny said inwardly as she stroked Shalimar's hair.

Then Dhanny stood up and walked out of the bedroom and closed the door quietly.

Shalimar had already left Dhanny's house when Dhanny was still asleep. And leave a note for Dhanny if Shallimar wants to calm himself for now and will contact Dhanny if he is ready and calm.

"Where's Shally?" Mei asked when she came to Dhanny's house to meet Shalimar.

"He's gone." Dhanny replied calmly.

"You're letting him go again?" May Protest to Dhanny.

"He won't go, he'll come back." Dhanny replied casually without showing the deep inner constancy she felt.

Dhanny tries to convince himself that Shalimar will return to him, only that Shalimar needs time to calm his mind at this time.

"What if he doesn't come back? Your wedding is just waiting for the day after tomorrow. If Shally still doesn't tell me, then what are you gonna do?" Mei asked as she sat down in frustration.

"He's coming. I'll wait for him." Dhanny squeezes the paper left behind by Shalimar.

Now Dhanny must also calm herself down as well and start preparing for the bad things that will happen at her wedding later.
