Evelyn arrives at the Core by Clare Smyth restaurant at 9pm London time. This restaurant is an official banquet restaurant located in Kensington Park Rd, Notting Hill, London, United Kingdom. This restaurant is very famous for its super delicious and expensive food.

Even for reservations, you have to wait one month because this restaurant only receives 20 guests per day. Even so, the turnover of this restaurant is very much and makes it one of the most expensive restaurants in London.

Evelyn closed her eyes with an upset look and went inside followed by Russell. Inside, the room was already filled by four people sitting in a circle. The deep green room with chandeliers on a round table surrounded by seven green velvet chairs was impressed like in the forest.

"Ohh, you guys are here together? " Rosaline was suffocating happy to see Evelyn and Russell coming in together.

The three pairs of eyes were also staring at the newly entered couple. Evelyn did not answer and sat down beside her mother.

Not long after the servants came to bring food for them. Evelyn looked down at the food that they must have ordered first. Filet mignon with brown butter red wine sauce, a medium roast beef steak with a different sauce than other steaks, using the red wine he usually drinks in the apartment.

Nancy who was beside Evelyn understood her daughter's gaze towards the steak that was in front of her. When her hand stretched out to grab Evelyn's plate, it was already taken by someone who was next to her.

Evelyn was silent, and stared intently at Russell. Russell knew he couldn't cut the steak. Therefore he did so to take the attention of his momma who now certainly smiled to see Russell's attention to him.

No words of thanks from Evelyn. He only ate the steak that had been cut off in silence.

"Wuah, you know that Eve can't cut the steak, right? " I cried Lily looked at Russell with her carefree voice, but a different gaze. There was a sharp look that Russell caught when he saw it.

"Yeah, as her future husband, I should know it's not the custom of my future wife, my sister-in-law? " Russel replied casually ignoring Lily's gaze at him.

Lily's eyes squinted in dislike, but she did not let out her voice and was silent. The waiter came back and poured Red Wine into their tall glasses.

Evelyn immediately tasted the taste of the red wine. When the water touched her tongue, Evelyn was sure if this Red Wine was Pinot Noir, the type of Red Wine that has the best quality.

Pinot Noir has a watery texture, not thick like other Red Wine. The alcohol content is also low compared to the thick Red Wine and the alcohol content is high. Pinot Noir is often mixed with foods such as beef and others.

Russell enjoyed Evelyn's expression when drinking that Red Wine, very sexy.

"Do you know what kind of wine you drink.? " Suddenly Russell let out his voice without turning his eyes to Evelyn. All the residents of the VVIP room turned their heads and looked at Russell.

Evelyn just glanced. "Pinot Noir of Burgundy, France. " The answer is short.

Even without him finding out who Russell was, the image was already visible from the cover. And that made him oppose this matchmaking and voiced it to his parents. But, it was only in vain, instead both parents praised Russell which they considered appropriate for Evelyn.

Lily really doesn't know how to stop this matchmaking. Russell is a man who has the potential to hurt his brother. And that made him nervous and scared.

"Wow, so this son of mine is secretly figuring out the habits of his future wife? Uhhh, so sweet... " Excited Rosaline pleased. Her face was so elated and she leaned her head on her husband's shoulder.

Russell rolled his eyes puffed. Jesus, where has Mommy been? Did he do anything unusual and only now realize? Was Mommy never coded by her Daddy? Or, is Mommy insensitive? Ohh gosh's..

Russell snorted softly and turned his gaze away. Eat a premium steak that has been served in front of him.

"That's a good thing. You should be like that too Eve. " Said Nancy smiling happily.

"For what? " She said, glancing to the side. Apparently, Russell also glanced at him. "Without me having to figure it out, it's all in sight. " She then decided to look at her, back at the steak. Evelyn's words were the same as Lily's, Russell looked like an open book.

Rosaline gaped into disbelief if Evelyn said anything honest. This son-in-law's candidate is really 'something'. She's not feeling well with Nancy and Thomas. Her face grimaced and she looked at her husband who also felt the same way.

Nancy and Thomas were silent. Is that what Evelyn did to Russell?

"Ahhh, dear Evelyn... Russell is not like that.. Yeah, maybe what you hear out there is my son jerk__indeed jerk__but, if you look deeper, my son is adorable. " Rosaline said with her teeth tight, indicating she said with a sense of anxiety and anger. A forced smile was seen when Rosaline finished her words.

All were silent and motionless, until Lily laughed out loud. Russell sighed again, Mommy this is really magical. How can this boy who is gentleman and sexy in say adorable? Whats? Are you kidding?!

Nancy pinched Lily's arm to stop laughing. He also wanted to laugh, but he could stand it. Even Nancy was convinced that Thomas would snort if not outside. Nancy really did not expect if her best friend was still 'magic' as before.

"Oh, Mommy. You hurt me. " Say Lily rubbed her arm pinched by Nancy. His lips curled downwards, and looked at Russell who was now putting on an upset face. That made Lily grin.

"Wow, I don't know if my sister-in-law is adorable.. " Tap Lily, Russell looked at her sharply, but Lily was unaffected. To her she was already used to that gaze, as Evelyn often looked at her sharply.

Even so, Lily knows that Evelyn loves her, and vice versa.

"Stop that.. Let's continue the dinner, after that there's something we want to tell you both. " Thomas said he broke up the two candidates-in-law who couldn't seem to get along.

Evelyn glanced at Russell who was casually eating her steak, unwilling to think what they were going to say. As for him, there was a bad feeling and he was sure that it was not good.
