After the incident in front of his apartment building, Evelyn was again busy in his office. Even Russell was no longer in his office at that time, because they had agreed that if it were not for marriage, they would not have met.

Even Nancy and Rosaline were worried about the bride-to-be getting married in four days, but they were both busy with their work. Rosaline had already reminded Russell to cut back on his work and began discussing his marriage. But, his handsome son only gave it all to this Mommy.

Nancy said the same thing, but Evelyn's response was silent with a flat face. Nancy knew that her daughter was very disappointed with her and her husband. But, this is all for Evelyn's own good. Nancy doesn't want her daughter to suffer another setback.

Evelyn averted her eyes staring at her flaming phone and displayed a new number. Evelyn was astonished and did not want to pick him up for not knowing the number. The call stopped, but after that it rang again.

Sighing, Evelyn put down her pencil and raised the call.”Hal--”

“You ignored my call?! Do you know, you've been interrupting my time.!”a voice that Evelyn knew who the owner of the voice was. Grunting, Evelyn felt this person should be taken to the hospital for a brain check.

“You think I know your number? If I knew, I'd already blocked your number from my phone.!” Evelyn's annoyed touch with Russel who suddenly came after her. Does he think his time is worth it? He was also distracted by Russel's relentless calls.

There was a snort in Evelyn's ear. He knew Russell would be upset, and he didn't care about it.

“What time are you done.”

Evelyn raised her eyebrows hearing Russell's flat voice?”What's going on?” ask Evelyn astonished.

“Mommy told me to take you to Bridal Boutique with.”

Evelyn frowned. Bridal Boutique's? “is it time for shirt fittings?” ask her wonder.

“Yeah it looks like so.”

When recalling the word fittings made Evelyn's finger vibrate. This traumatized him from past events. That glint was visible on Evelyn's eyes, and it made her claustrophobic.

Russell frowned when he heard the hunting breath in his ears. What happened to Evelyn? Why is his breath like that?

“Eve? Are you okay?” ask from sebrang. Evelyn put away her phone and drank a glass of water to neutralize her body.

“Eve?! Tell me,are okay?!” Evelyn could hear Russell screaming on the phone, as soon as Evelyn answered her rather than later Russell would tell her Momma.

“Yeah, I’m okay. “ replied Evelyn in a normal voice.

Silent, Evelyn felt Russel did not believe his words. “Are you sure?” ask him not sure.

“Yeah,sure. And about fitting clothes, we can meet in—“ unfinished Evelyn talk, Russell has cut it.

“No.! I'll pick you up, no objection.!” Say it with a firm tone.

“Alright, whatever you are. You can come here after 6pm.” Evelyn then closed it one-sidedly with an annoyed face.

Who does he think can manage his life? Evelyn's mind was upset.

Russell stared at his phone with a face of disbelief. Whats? He shut down unilaterally?! Russell's upset not playing.

TOK TOK TOK

“Ya login.!” Shouted Russell annoyed. Daniel walked in with a hesitant face.

“What's Daniel?” russell asked his assistant.

“I guess you called me, for hearing screams from inside.” Answer Daniel grimaced. Earlier, he heard a scream from inside his boss' room. He thought he was called, but he didn't seem to be.

Russell did not answer and did not explain why he was screaming. Couldn't he not have said that he intended to run to Evelyn's office to see the woman's condition? Even his heart was still beating fast because of that woman.

“Daniel, clear my time from 6pm. I don't want to accept any job after that, understand?!” his orders on his assistant named Daniel were.

“Good sir, I do.” Daniel nodded his head and excused to come out.

After Daniel left, Russell was still thinking about Evelyn. I don't know what happened to her, but it bothered her. Are you distracted by worry or distracted by curiosity?

“Mom, are you sure of that man?”

Nancy exhaled tired, Lily—his daughter—it was endless asking like that, even after she arrived in London the question she kept asking her and her husband.

Nancy knew that if Lily loved Evelyn so much, even exchanging lives would Lily give if it could make Evelyn happy. It made Nancy touched by Lily's attitude, but sometimes the attitude of Lily who loved her brother was frustrating. How not, since they said that if Evelyn would be betrothed, Lily immediately flew to London and searched them with various questions.

“What? Shirt fittings?!” lily jolted in shock, her heart thumped and her mind floated everywhere.

“Yeah, what's wrong with your reaction?”nancy asked in surprise to see her daughter's behavior.

“Mom, is this what you call loving big brother?!”lily asked with suddenly reddened eyes holding back a cry.

“What do you mean?” Nancy did not know what Lily meant, but saw her expression that was so afraid, why did she also feel it.

“what did you forget? At what moment did Peter leave for good?!” her voice trembled, if Lily did not question her already she was crying.

Nancy flinched and as if remembering something, her eyes looked at Lily widened as if what she thought was true. “Yeah Mom, when they fit clothes.! Then—do you think my brother will be okay?!”her innuendo made Nancy stand up and enter her room.

Not long after, Nancy came out with her small bag and coat, running in a hurry with her pale face. Suddenly, Lily immediately stopped her Momma and realized if she was too pressing, making her Momma drop.

“Mom, where are you going?!” he stopped Nancy who was at the front door.

“I must accompany him, Lily. Evelyn doesn't want Russell to know her past. What if her trauma recurs while with Russell?!”peekkik Nancy was worried.

“Alright, we went there together. Momma can't drive, remember Dadda's message.!”he said he then threw the keys to the car in Nancy's hands.

They got into the car and went to the Bridal Boutique they were visiting. The two children and the mother encouraged each other and thought positively about Evelyn there. They just hope Evelyn's okay.

Twenty minutes later, they reached Bridal Boutique and went inside looking for Evelyn. When they entered, they immediately saw Evelyn and Russel were dressed neatly with a deep blue Tuxedo with black shirt interiors and a white dress that stretched the floor and also Evelyn's smooth shoulders.

They look harmonious.

“Mom, are you here?” it wasn't Evelyn, it was Russell who asked Nancy and called her Mom. It made Evelyn look at the wonder of Russell who was immediately familiar with her mother. While Lily already knows if Russell calls his mother Mom, just like him. However, now instead of focusing on Russell's call on her mother, Lily looked at Evelyn's face closely.

“Hah? Ah yeah, I want to see you guys wear this bridal dress directly.”tap Nancy reasoned.

“Ah so.” Russell Gumam. Suddenly she pulled Evelyn's waist and stuck their bodies together. That made Evelyn nervous and shocked.

“What do you think Mom? We're compatible aren't we?”ask her with a big smile. When I saw Evelyn in this dress, I felt like there was a rebel and wanted to get out. But he held it back, or his life would be lost right now in the hands of his in-laws.

“Yeah, you guys are very compatible. It is not in vain that we choose this shirt for you. You guys are a great fit, aren't you Lily?”nancy is excited.

Lily flinched when her name was called.

Forced, Russell took off his hand which was on Evelyn's waist.”well, you were the one who changed. I'll accompany Momma here.”ucap Russel who acts like a good man.

Evelyn did not care and went into the dressing room. Lily also wanted to help her sister take off her wedding dress. And only Nancy and Russell were left in Boutique's courtyard.

Lily walked in and looked at Evelyn sharp who was already in front of the mirror. Lily could see Evelyn's face from the mirror.

“She came again?”

Evelyn stared at her sister flat through the mirror.”It's none of your business.!” His voice was flat and cold.

Lily did not care about the reaction of Evelyn who was now looking at her flat and sharp.

“She came again,not.” This was no longer a question, but a statement looking at Evelyn's trembling hand.

Evelyn did not reply, her eyeballs were moving wildly and her eyelids were closed several times.

Lily wanted to get close, but she was afraid that Evelyn would get hysterical and get Russell to come and see her. “You— don't hurt yourself—not?”

“Do you see blood here?” Evelyn flipped over her super chatty sister's question.

Lily's eyes moved looking at Evelyn's body and found no injuries. That made him relieved. “But, why do I feel tightness? Is that you?”

The inner bond that people often say may have a point as well. Because that bond is always felt by both of them. If it wasn't Lily who felt it, then it would be Evelyn. This bond makes someone closer, or even tenuous. Evelyn is sometimes upset by the bond that only Lily feels.

Her chatty sister would be even more chatty if she felt a feeling that was not from her.

“Yes, this dress makes me tight.”he replied ketus. “ quit if only disturb.!” Get Evelyn.

Not wanting to argue, Lily finally came out.

Not long after, I heard a breath coming from inside the locker room. Then there was a loud cry. Outside the locker room, Lily stood up and heard all of it. He's never wrong, Evelyn keeps everything to herself.

“I'm not stupid, brother. I feel what you feel.”he said softly by clenching his hand holding back the cry that made him tight.
