My Husband's

My Husband's
An impossible desire

Dinda came home with a very cheerful face. I could see him jumping in joy along with the drawing paper he had in his hand.

"Mamaaa. I got a ninety-eight!" Dinda shouted as she approached me. She immediately hugged me as I knelt down while stretching out both of my hands.

"Great Mama's son! Very nice picture," I praised while peeping his forehead repeatedly. He looks so good because I did it while joking.

"That's great, Papa's son." Mas Fandi came and approached the two of us.

"Mas, I don't think you stopped by. We had lunch together, yes. I just finished cooking."

"Yes, Honey. I just found a client near Dinda's school. So I picked her up. Just wait a half hour. The next meeting is in about three hours. I still have time to have lunch with you guys." Mas Fandi explained.

It's only right that he called me not to pick up Dinda. Of course it made me take the initiative to cook lunch. Because Dinda likes my cooking better than the housekeeping assistant.

"Dinda, you change clothes and we have lunch, yes" I told Dinda. The little girl nodded and ran to her room.

After eating, we also chatted in the family room while watching a television show in the form of Dinda's favorite cartoon.

"Pa, sometime we meet Mama Sinta, yes," said Dinda suddenly to make me and Mas Fandi surprised.

"L-yes, dear," said Mas Fandi while nodding his head. It's hard to hide all this from Dinda. The poor little girl had just lost her birth mother, even a day after they made peace. But, Sinta had already met her destiny where her life was only until that time. Now he was calm in nature. But, Dinda still thinks that her mother is still alive.

"What if we go on vacation to Mom's house? I want to show you the painting I made."

Yes, after the dinner meeting with Sinta at that time, Dinda also added a photo of Shinta in the picture. I joined hands with Mas Fandi, and Sinta joined hands with me. And one hand we held Dinda's body in front of us. And of course, the story becomes a little different. There was a sentence added in after the sentence that was addressed to me and Mas Fandi.

It sounds like this. 'Who beside mama Ana, there is my mama too, her name is mama Sinta. She's very pretty and nice. I am so happy to have two mothers who love me so much. I feel so lucky because my mom is so caring and loving to each other. That's my family's story of love.'

I could only hold back my tears as I looked at Dinda with pity. What if after she found out that her real mama was dead? Will he be okay and accept it? Will he not be angry with us? Hopefully one day Dinda will understand why we hid her mother's death. Really, I never wanted to see my little girl grieve. It's possible, in a year or two, when he understands, I'll tell him. Now, we have to figure out how to get Dinda to abandon her intention to meet her real mama.
