My Husband's

My Husband's
Meet

It's been three months since I worked at Mas Fandi's luxury cafe. Turnover is increasing and customers are increasing. I have also made some new menus that are only cooked by two of the best chefs of my choice.

I was watching over the performance of the chefs until suddenly a waiter came over with a slightly agitated face.

"What's Novi?" I asked the beautiful waiter.

"Madrified. Someone ordered a new menu but Adel did not enter again sick. Siska again permits for an hour because she wants to anterin her mother to the hospital."

I became confused. My two trust chefs are nowhere to be found.

"Let me cook." Vivi, who had been not far from us, offered.

"Let me, Vi. Sorry yes." I left it to the cooking place. I made two servings of food.

Finished with that, I also told Novi to deliver to the customer who ordered.

Half an hour later, Novi came back and said that the customer wanted to talk to me. I feel was was was. But because Novi said that the customer wanted to praise, I went to meet them with a calm feeling.

I walked towards the customer's desk. I didn't see his face because they were behind me. I can see from the clothes they wear, they are office workers.

"Excuse me, Sir, Ma. There's something I can help you with" I said as I stood beside their table.

At that moment they looked up and were surprised to see me. It turned out that they were Mas Hadi and Sinta. I was surprised to see them too.

"Loh, you work here?" Sinta looked at me with a mocking look like she was humbling me.

"What did my mom and dad call me?" I try not to care about Sinta's words.

"You made this meal?" asked Mas Hadi with a serious look.

"Yes, sir." I'm nodding.

I try to hold back my emotions. I don't want to mess up this place and make customers feel uncomfortable with the commotion.

"When it's over, I beg your permission, sir." I was about to walk away, but Sinta called me.

I looked up and looked at him with a flat expression. "What's up, Mom?"

"I think it's destiny. We were looking for you under a bridge or a slum, but you're here."

"Why are you looking for me?" This time I responded to Sinta.

"To give this up!" Sinta handed me an envelope.

I accepted it and opened it. Turns out it was a divorce letter between me and Mas Hadi. My eyes glazed over as I read it. I try not to cry.

"Finally Mas Hadi was separated from the pesky Bearer like you," said Sinta with emphasis.

"I'm happy too. Happy happy yes. Give my regards to Dinda. I hope he's okay." I smiled and left them while holding the divorce papers.

I went straight to the bathroom. My tears shed for a moment. I feel tightness in my chest. My heart hurts so much. I'm finally officially widowed and now I don't have anyone. Ah, that's why I'm sad. I immediately wiped my tears. I should have been happy. I no longer feel the pain of prolonged heartache of seeing the intimacy of my husband and his second wife.

I immediately came out of the bathroom after cleaning my face after crying.

I'm back to mingling with the cooks who are still working. Fortunately, the torture was hard to come back so I did not need to intervene for the new menu.

I put the divorce papers in my bag. After that I peeked at the door to see Mas Hadi and Sinta who were still in her seat.

I went back to my work. Why am I seeing them again, it's no use.
