Love The Village Youth

Love The Village Youth
Chapter 49

The next day everyone who was worried about Diska came to visit Uci Desmi's house.

Some of the village mothers came to bring food and fruits.

The friendly attitude and behavior of Diska made the citizens love the city girl.

"Thank God, you're fine in the woods" said one middle-aged woman who used to be a Diska patient.

"Yes, Buk. I am grateful that there are still good people helping me while in the forest," said Diska considering the kindness of Husein who has helped her.

"Who is this person, or what is he?" ask mom B to be curious.

"Mhm, not a resident here, Buk. He is also not a resident of the village opposite, but he is from North Sumatra," said Diska.

Diska also recounts the life of Husein who was forced to leave his family life only to calm himself for the betrayal committed by his wife.

He left his possessions and work to garden in a forest that was unfamiliar to him.

"Geez, pity that guy. If I had a daughter, I would marry that man" Mother B responded to Diska's story.

"Ish, not necessarily she wants to be your son-in-law, Buk," ledek C's mother.

They also laugh together. They chatted for a while after that the mothers went home to each other.

Now there is only Diska and Uci Desmi who are still sitting in the living room.

"Diska" said Uci Desmi.

He wanted to invite Diska to chat for a moment from heart to heart.

Diska turned to the middle-aged woman she had already considered her mother.

"Mhm, what's up, Uci," said Diska.

"Uci does not know what is really going on between you and Rama. It's just, Uci feels sad to see you guys like this now," said Uci Desmi expressing her sadness.

Diska was silent, she was pensive to remember the incident a few weeks ago.

Without realizing it, her tears began to wet her cheeks.

Uci Desmi let out a long sigh, she also gently rubbed Diska's back.

Uci Desmi understood what she was feeling right now. The fear of living life in the wilderness for a few days must have made him have his own trauma.

"I-I didn't expect his ego to be higher than his love for me. What has happened to me is his fault" said Diska.

He blames Ra for letting himself go as Rama drifts away in jealousy in his heart.

"If he hadn't been angry with me that day, I wouldn't have had to face death in that forest."

The shadow of the tiger that was eyeing him as well as the huge snake that was about to swallow him back flashed through his mind.

The events he had to go through became the deepest traumatic for his soul and mind.

"Uci knows, but you shouldn't blame her. Even if he is wrong, will you continue to hate him? Can't you just apologize to her?" ask Uci Desmi on Diska.

Uci Desmi questions Diska's current conscience.

"Uci, I don't currently know the answer to the question, Uci. For sure at this time I do not want to see him again," said Diska.

Diska was crying, she felt being played by the young man she loved so much. The pain deepened upon hearing the question from Uci Desmi.

"Yes, Uci won't force you. If that's what you think is best, Uci will support you" said Uci Desmi.

Currently Uci Desmi chose to let Diska follow her heart.

Uci Desmi embraces Diska, she lets the city girl vent her sadness in the arms of the middle-aged woman she already considers her real mother.

The middle-aged woman opened the door for her guests.

Diska saw Rama standing in front of Uci Desmi's house, they exchanged glances.

Staring at each other questioned the content of each other's hearts.

It is clear in Rama's eyes that he still loves the city girl very much, he also looks regretful with what has happened.

Actually Rama has been at the door of Uci Desmi's house since earlier, he can also listen to Diska's wishes that no longer want to see him again.

"What's up, Rama?" tanya Uci Desmi melted the atmosphere.

"Mhm, I-I just want to give this to Diska," said Rama while giving Diska's phone that was dead because of the battery.

Diska glanced at her cellphone which is now in Rama's grasp.

"Put it on that table!" diska.

"After that go," said Diska drove Rama away.

Diska stepped into the room, she really did not want to meet with Rama.

"Diska," call Rama.

Diska stopped her steps. He was silent and did not turn his body.

"I know the disaster that has happened to you is because of my carelessness, what happened is my fault."

"If you don't want to see me, from today on I will never appear before you" said Rama.

Rama does not want Diska more tormented if they always meet, finally Rama put Diska's cell phone on the table.

"Uci, I say goodbye first" said Rama saying goodbye to Uci Desmi.

Uci Desmi could only nod, she was sad to see Rama and Diska like this, but she could do nothing.

Rama leaves the house of Uci Desmi.

The middle-aged woman stepped towards the table, then picked up Diska's phone and kept it.

"Perhaps like this is better" wrote Uci Desmi sadly.

Uci Desmi keeps Diska's cell phone and she goes into her room.

The days in the village began to be lived Diska as usual, Rudi's task which was replaced by Rama is now again carried out by Rudi.

Rudi who drove and picked up Diska went and came home from the clinic. While Rama is now busy alone in the garden relics of his parents.

He chose to spend the night in the forest so that Diska could not meet him. Rama followed what Diska wanted.

Rama does not want to hurt the girl he loves by constantly seeking or persuading her to forgive herself.

Rama is willing to live in the hatred of the girl he loves, he is in the forest not only to avoid Diska, but also to, he also wanted to avoid Annisa and Mr. Village Chief who always collected answers to proposals that had been given by the village head.

Currently the garden relics of both Rama's parents have begun to be maintained and produce, the, all Rama's efforts were not in vain especially at this time the price of rubber rose drastically than before so he got more results from his efforts.

With the rubber proceeds, Rama already has savings despite the little he keeps saving for his future.

The more he remembers his aground love before sailing, the more Rama is eager to keep trying.
