Love The Village Youth

Love The Village Youth
Chapter 41

"Sorry, Miss. Relax!" the man shouted while raising his hand.

the man hoped that Diska could calm down, and lowered the knife he had in his hand.

"Who are you?" asked Diska nervously.

Her tears began to wash her cheeks. Because after 2 days of survival in the wilderness, he has now met a human.

He hoped that the man now in front of him would be a good man who would help him out of a forest so foreign to him.

"I'm Husein, I'm a farmer." The man introduced himself to Diska.

"I found you passed out on the bank of a creek when I wanted to fetch water" Husein explained the reason for the girl's presence in her cabin.

Slowly Diska lowered the knife in her hand, she let out a long sigh and leaned her body against the wall of the cottage.

"Rest, I'll get you some food, you'll be hungry. I've prepared food for you."

The man took a plate and filled it with food. He held out a plate that already contained food to Diska.

"I happen to get the fish kids, so I just fry for your side dishes" Husein said kindly.

Husein's disheveled appearance, her white skin had turned brown from working under the scorching sun.

Diska took the plate, at the moment she just wished that Husein was really a sincere good person helping her.

Husein looked at Diska who was now eating food on her plate. Although the rice was only friends with a simple side dish, Diska devoured it until it was gone.

Two days of not eating made him feel very hungry and no matter what the side dish was.

"Alhamdulillah," said Husein after Diska finished his meal.

Diska smiled shyly at Hussein's words.

The girl took a glass filled with drinking water, she drank the water until it was gone.

"Thank God you're okay, but I found you not far from the carcass of a huge snake that died from swallowing a hedgehog alive" Husein said.

Diska's memory returned at those seconds she was about to be eaten by the huge snake she had seen earlier this morning.

"O Allah Almighty You are still guarding and protecting me" said Diska.

"After this rest again, soon after the night, you must rest enough so that your stamina is restored," said Husein.

Diska was still silent to hear orders from Hussein.

"I'll sleep outside, if there's anything you can call me" Husein said.

The man came out of the cottage and sat on the terrace of the cottage. He will spend the night outside the cottage tonight because his bed was given to the city girl.

Diska also returned to lay her body on the spot earlier. His eyes glared at the ceiling of the cottage.

"Rama, you're really mean to me. I didn't think you'd do this to me, I was wrong to love you. I gave my heart to you wrongly. You have reneged on your promises to me, from today I will try to forget you," said Diska who is now remembering the figure of the man she loves.

"I'm really disappointed in you" said Diska again.

Without realizing it her tears began to wash over her cheeks, a deep sense of disappointment now enveloped her heart.

Rama was the first man to have his heart drawn. However, Rama was also the first person to have disappointed him.

"Rama, there's something you need to talk to you about tonight" Mr. Didin said, starting talks later that night with Rama.

"What, Sir?" rama asked impatiently to know what was important to make Mr. Didin force Rama to come so that Rama could not find Diska tonight.

"Mhm, look at Rama. I want to ask you for help" Didin said, still hanging up the conversation.

He deliberately made Rama curious.

"Solicit what please?" rama asked frankly he was impatient to hear the continued words of Mr. Didin.

"Rama, as you know, my daughter Annisa is now an adult, she is 24 years old. I wanted to find a soul mate for him, but,-" Again Didin hung his words so that Rama was more curious.

This time Rama chose silence waiting for Didin to speak again.

"I just want you to be my daughter-in-law" Mr. Didin said as he pleaded with Rama.

Rama was shocked to hear the words of the village chief. He did not expect the village chief would dare to ask himself to marry his daughter.

Rama was silent, he was thinking what to answer. He himself was reluctant to accept Mr. Didin's request, but he felt bad to refuse directly.

"How, Rama? Do you agree with my request?" asked Mr. Didin urged Rama to accept Mr. Didin's request at that time.

"Huff." Rama took a long breath.

"Before I apologized to you, not that I didn't want to accept, but,-"

"Rama, I beg you not to refuse this request, because I have promised the deceased your parents will make you my son-in-law," said Mr. Didin cut off the words of Rama who wanted to refuse subtly.

"What?" lirih Rama could not believe it.

"Yes, Rama. When your parents were buried I promised to take care of you to adulthood and make you my son-in-law. I beg you to help me fulfill the promise I made" Mr. Didin pleaded.

Mr. Didin clenched his palms together as a deep plea to the man who did not love his daughter at all.

"Sorry, Sir. I need time to think. I hope you can understand," Pinta Rama was upset, but he still tried to be friendly to Mr. Didin so that the man who had helped him a lot did not offend.

"Alright, Rama. I understand your current position. I'll give you time to think, but I hope you don't disappoint me" Didin said.

"Yes, sir." Rama nodded.

Not how long they remained silent. They are busy with their own thoughts.

"Sir, if there's nothing else you'll talk about can I go home?" rama asked to choose a farewell to Mr. Didin rather than them sitting there quietly.

"Oh, yes. It's okay, I really hope for you Rama, and I don't want you to let me down" Didin said, forcing Rama to accept his request.

"I say goodbye, sir," said Rama.

Rama deliberately did not agree because he did not want to be bound by Mr. Didin's request which was clearly his heart rejected it.

After that Rama returned home, along the way he continued to think about what had just been said by Mr. Didin.

Once at home, Rama went straight into the room he laid his body and stared at the nanar on the ceiling of his room.

Seriate...
