Love The Village Youth
Chapter 20

Diska chatting on the phone with someone on the other side, she was not aware of the existence of Rama who was already standing before her.

"Yes, if so we continue to talk sometime, Ma. I want to go home first" Diska said as she realized Rama's whereabouts.

"Sorry, it has made you wait," Diska told Rama who was now sitting next to her.

"It's okay" said Rama briefly.

Somehow the mood of Rama disappeared just like that when he saw Diska engrossed in chatting with someone he thought was a man.

"So, I called Mama, and there happened to be an old friend of mine with her" Diska told Rama.

Diska felt Rama had misunderstood what he had just heard.

"Oh" said Rama.

"Yuk, we go home," Rama asked.

"Yeah, yuk," said Diska.

Diska feels bad with Rama's cold demeanor.

"Did Rama hear my conversation with Rezi earlier? Is he jealous?" muttering Diska in the heart.

Rama stood up and stepped towards his motorbike which had been parked in front of the village clinic.Similar to Diska, he stood up and stepped following Rama.

Rama rode his motorcycle and turned it on, after which Diska also climbed on the motorcycle.

Without making sure Diska was sitting comfortably on her motorcycle, she immediately took off her motorcycle.

"Auw," cried Diska and immediately hugged Rama's waist because he almost fell from the motorcycle.

Rama stopped his motorcycle.

"Sorry" said Rama.

"Are you ready?" rama asked Diska.

"Already," replied Diska.

After that, Rama took out his motorcycle. Throughout the journey, no conversation took place between the two of them.

Angry, jealous, and guilty now began to wrestle the heart of the young man of the village.

Rama is upset that he can do nothing when the woman he likes already has someone more meaningful in his life than him.

He was jealous because the love that had now grown in his heart deepened.

He felt guilty by the attitude he had done towards Diska, he should not vent his frustration at the city girl.

Rama stops his motorcycle right in front of the yard of Uci Desmi's house.

Diska got off Rama's motorbike he was confused by the attitude of the village youth. I don't know why the friendly attitude seems to be upset with him.

"Ram, thank you for bringing me. I'm sorry if there is a mistake that has upset you," Diska said before Rama returned his motorcycle to leave the residence Uci Desmi.

"Yes" answered Rama briefly.

The Village Youth began to advance his motorcycle leaving Diska who was still silent standing staring at Rama's back until lost at the intersection of the road.

"Au ah dark." Diska shrugged her shoulders.

He tried to assume that nothing happened between him and Rama.

The girl stepped inside the house. He immediately got ready to clean himself in the bathroom while Uci desmi was seen sewing.

The middle-aged woman was already used to filling her days with sewing or cooking.

"What are you doing, son?" asked Uci Desmi curious to see Diska who came home with a pouting face.

Diska who had a towel on her shoulder turned to Uci Desmi, she stepped up and sat down next to the middle-aged woman.

As Uci Desmi stopped her sewing, she looked at the town girl and waited for her to speak.

"No idea, tuh. Suddenly the Rama sniffed at me, as angry as I was. I myself do not know what is wrong," said Diska revealed the reason his heart was upset with Rama.

"Maybe he's having a problem at his job, so his mood is gone." Uci Desmi tries to cheer up Diska.

"But I'm just upset, Uci. Why did he vent it on me, yes if I was wrong at least he said," said Diska sad to remember Rama's attitude earlier.

"Udah, later if Uci meets Rama, let Uci who advised him," said Uci Desmi.

"Yes, Uci. Thank you, Uci is indeed the best woman," said Diska smiling.

Uci Desmi just smiled at Diska's words.

"Yes, Diska shower first, Uci," said Diska to stand up.

Suddenly an announcement came from the mosque.

"Innalilahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un" said Uci Desmi after the announcement was completed.

Diska sat down next to Uci Desmi.

"Who died, Uci?" tanya Diska curious.

"Si Roni, that was the victim of the accident the other day," replied Uci Desmi.

"Innalilahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un" said Diska.

"Indeed when he came home from the hospital he was better, but yesterday there were reports of blood clots in his head that were not detected by doctors at the time" Uci Desmi told the news circulating in his village.

"Geez, if death we do not know when it comes and the cause is yes, Uci," said Diska.

"Yes, Son. That's why you must be diligent in prayer, and diligent in participating in studies," advises Uci Desmi on the city girl.

"Yes, Uci." Diska nodded.

"Yes, I took a shower first, it's hot, Ci," said Diska.

The girl stepped into her bathroom, all day in the clinic in official clothes made her feel sultry and her body felt sticky.

After the Maghrib prayer, Diska and Uci Desmi had dinner together in the dining room.

"Dis, later after this we pray isya in the mosque and then stop by the funeral home, yes," said Uci Desmi on the sidelines of their meal.

"All right, Uci," said Diska.

After finishing dinner, they also get ready to pray isya in the mosque as well as carrying a small bag containing rice that will be taken to the funeral home.

Such is the habit of the Tanjung villagers, they will bring rice as a sign they also mourn in the disaster that was struck by the grief expert.

They stepped into the mosque, every day Uci Desmi routine prayer maghrib and congregation in the mosque. He went to the mosque on foot.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Uci," said Rama suddenly came out of a stall that passed by Uci Desmi and Diska.

"Wa'alaikummussalam" replied Uci Desmi.

Diska turned to look at the man who had made herself upset.

"You're going to the mosque, Ci?" rama asked Uci Desmi just to mince words.

"Yes, Son. After that we will go to Roni's house" replied Uci Desmi.

"Can dong, together. I haven't been there either. After praying, the plan is to stop there" said Rama.

"Yes, I can" said Uci Desmi.

Diska was just silent, he was reluctant to join in chatting with Rama and Uci Desmi, especially the two of them had used regional language that was completely incomprehensible.

Arriving at the mosque they immediately entered the mosque and then performed the qobliyah circumcision prayer, after which Diska sat while waiting for iqamah.

When the prayer began, Rama stood as a priest in performing the congregational prayer service.

Diska was glued when she heard the chanting of prayer verses recited by Rama. Just this time Diska praying congregation which is imbued by the idol of the heart.
