Love The Village Youth

Love The Village Youth
Chapter 36

"Sorry, Bang. We are disturbing," said Rama greeting a man who could be estimated to be older than him.

"Yes, what's wrong?" ask the man.

"I've never seen Brother in the village, if I may know which man's brother?" rama asked just a little chat.

"Oh, I'm from Lubuk Gobing village" replied the man.

"That, Bang. We're looking for someone in this forest, we haven't found him since last night. Since last night we haven't filled our stomachs. If there's something we can eat, can we ask for it, Bang?" pinta Rama was honest that they were currently starving.

"Oh, let's go to my cabin. I just cooked rice, for the side dish we can boil cassava leaves," said the man kindly.

The man stepped towards his cottage, their current position was indeed far from residential residents. They have passed through the plantation owned by Tanjung villagers.

"Don't you know, it's been gardening here a long time?" ask Rudi.

"About 4 months," the man replied.

"Oh, where was gardening before?" ask Rudi again.

"I used to garden in the Angkola area south of North Sumatra" replied the man.

"Lho's? New guy in the Gobing Shovel, Bang?" tanya Rudi made sure that the man was not a native of Lubuk Gobing village.

"Yes, I came here. It just so happens that there are friends who are married to this person" explained the honest man.

"Come on, please come in," the man asked.

He climbed up a stage cottage, it looked like a simple house that only had one room and a door.

Rama looked closely at the man's cottage.

"Abang spent the night here?" rama asked curiously.

The man smiled.

"Yes, I don't have any family here. It just so happened that there was empty land for business, so I was gardening here" the man told two young men he had just met.

"Oh" said Rama and Rudi together.

That's all they can say.

"Boiled cassava leaves are ripe, let's eat. Incidentally I have not eaten either," said the man asked Rudi and Rama to eat with a makeshift menu.

"It's milled chillies and salted fish, how do you know you want," the man bargained while opening a small jar.

"Yes, Bang. Thank you, Bang," said Rama and Rudi.

They also ate with greed, seen the rice pot that was empty, Rama also stopped eating, even though he was not full.

Rama and Rudi felt bad about having finished the rice of the man he had just known.

"Sorry, Bang. You have troublesome brother," said Rama after they finished eating.

"It's okay, that's how we live in this world to help each other, I'm grateful that when I live alone in this forest, I can still do good with each other," said the man wisely.

They chatted for a while, after Rama and Rudi said goodbye to the man, they continued their search for Diska in the forest.

Although they had already walked a very long distance, they had not yet found any signs of Diska's existence.

"Ram, it's dzuhur. Do we better look for Diska in the direction of the village, where we know He has led to the village road" proposed Rudi.

"All right, then. Mostly the village chief has sent some people to look for Diska, hopefully today Diska can be found," said Rama approved Rudi's proposal

When the dzuhur prayer entered, the two young men arrived at the plantation owned by Rama.

The plantation is now planted with rubber trees that have not been taken care of at all.

This plantation land is the only legacy left by both of Rama's parents besides the house.

"We rest first, while praying," Rama asked Rudi while sitting in a bad cottage that looks weathered.

"Yes, I'm tired too" said Rudi.

They rested for a while there, while waiting for Rama to wander in the stream, Rudi lay his body on the board floor of the bad cottage owned by Rama.

"Ram, why aren't you taking care of this garden? At least once a week you can harvest the rubber and the money you can save to open a business what is it to fight for Diska," asked Rudi to his best friend.

Rudi wants to see Rama act and do something to fight for your love for Diska" Rudi said.

"Huhft." Rama took a long breath.

He who had just wudhu did not directly perform prayer but he instead sat beside his best friend.

"Rud, whenever I am in this garden, I always remember the bodies of my parents who were drenched in blood there" said Rama, pointing to the position a few meters from where they were sitting.

"Ram, the event was long ago" said Rudi.

"Although it's been a long time, Rud. But that happened before my eyes..I can't remember the bitter taste" said Rama.

Without realizing it, now clear circles began to wet his cheeks.

"Ram, you have to be strong, for the sake of your loved ones. Now if we can't find Diska, you'll regret it for life" Rudi said, patting Rama on the shoulder.

Rama recalls his love story with Diska that ran aground before it started.

"Bro, you have to promise me, if Diska comes back, you'll make her happy or I'll take Diska away from you" Rudi said.

Rudi got up, then he stepped towards the tributary for ablution. Rudi did not end up thinking with the mind of his best friend.

All this time, Rama was a smart and genius man. Can solve various problems in the village, but for love problems he does not know anything.

"Indeed what Rudi said, I must fight to maintain my love for the girl who has mastered my heart at this time. Diska .. I promise to fight for our love as much as I can, while you still love me" Rama murmured inwardly.

After praying dzuhur, they again continue the journey to find Diska.

"Rama! Rudy!" exclaimed one of the residents who had been trusted to find Diska when they met in the middle of the forest.

"Eh, Mamak Rustam" said Rudi and Rama.

"Hows it? Have you found the doctor's book?" ask the man who was called by mamak (call for an uncle in the Minang area) by Rama and Rudi.

The two young men let out a long sigh, then shook their heads.

"One night we've been going around the woods, but we didn't find it." Rudi answered Rustam's question in a sad tone.

"Geez, where's the girl? We've been separated all day, and we haven't found it either" Rustam said.

He looked tired in the woods.

"Or not-don't, the girl was eaten by a snake" said Rustam.

Seriate...
