I'm taking you off

I'm taking you off
Marrying

"I'm going to marry the Eagle" he said

what came out of Nara's lips made Licia surprised.

"Wed married?, are you serious?" Licia rounded her eyeballs, not believing her best friend's words, which might just be a joke.

"What?? The marriage? Seriously" replied Nara while sipping lemon tea. "I've thought about this last night, I want to keep him by his side, take care of him until he recovers. I was afraid that I wouldn't have that chance" Nara's gaze was blank, her mind as if remembering every Eagle's words that worried her and scared her.

From last night, after their meeting that afternoon, Nara's heart and mind were filled with every utterance that came out of the Eagle's lips, as if hinting at his departure.

If one day I am gone, promise me you will always be happy

The words seemed to ring in Nara's ears.

"No. It'll never happen, I won't be happy without it" Tears began to pool in Nara's eyes.

Licia grabbed the shoulders of her best friend. Licia knows it's very hard for Nara, seeing her loved ones in a bad state.

"Why did you suddenly make this decision? did the Eagle ask" Licia wanted to ask for clarification, because getting married is not an easy matter and also not a solution that Nara should have taken.

"It's purely my own wish, even I haven't talked about it with the Eagle"

Lia breathed heavily. "Try to think carefully"

"You don't support me?"

"No, no, I just don't want you to make a decision in this kind of a gambit. I know you want it even dreamed of it, but maybe the time is right"

"I just don't want to regret it, and I'm going to talk about this to aunt Airin"

Licia was no longer able to say, she just nodded while strengthening Nara. "If this is what you do best. Happy for her" Licia hugged her best friend tightly.

"But Nara was afraid she was really gone before we built our dreams and future. Having a small family" Lirih Nara sobbed.

Airin stared at the sad eyes that were getting puffy by tears, laden with sadness.

"Nara, the soul and death are arranged. If you are meant to be together and be a match, God will show you the way. Man may plan, but God has the will and determines everything. Leave everything to God, strive and pray that the Eagle will be healed. Never precede fate, no one can measure a person's life and death"

Slowly Airin gave understanding to Nara, he wanted his nephew to be able to think logically not just obey the desire for a moment. He knew very well the fear of loss that was being felt by Nara, but if he gave permission to marry, while the condition of the Eagle is still far from good. Precisely the pain that Nara will feel could be worse if later the Eagle really went and left Nara with the status of Widow. Airin didn't want that to happen. Although he tried hard to dismiss the thought, but he was really not willing if later his nephew felt prolonged solitude.

"Whether or not there is permission from aunt, Nara will still ask Eagle to marry Nara as soon as possible!" Suddenly Nara took off her aunt's embrace. "Auntie doesn't know what Nara's feeling right now. Nara wants to always be next to the Eagle, no matter what!" Nara's tone of voice was slightly elevated and full of emphasis, but it remained with a sob and her words were stuck in the throat as it held back her cries.

Nara leaves Airin.

"Nara!" Call Airin "Please listen to aunt. This is not the way if you want to make the Eagle happy, Aunt is not not not not not allowed, but not yet"

Even Nara did not comment on Airin's words, he continued to step towards the exit of the house, Airin tried to chase after him. Airin's hand that had pulled Nara's arm was pushed aside. "Auntie will never understand Nara's feelings!"

Nara immediately got into her car and left her aunt's yard feeling muddled. Just this time he was being rude to his aunt. I don't know what is turbulent in him, desperate and disappointed because it seems his desire is not supported by those closest to him.

One third of the night, Nara wakes up. Soon he took ablution and night prayers. Seeking guidance from Allah on his heart.

In his sobs, Nara pleaded for the healing of the Eagle and asked for guidance to strengthen her heart to step into the path that God is pleased to take. If indeed the Eagle was his own, then God would have allowed them to be together, but otherwise Nara would have resigned to her destiny, which Nara wanted was a happy Eagle, healthy as before and no longer experiencing pain as he is now feeling.

After praying and asking for directions, Nara felt calmer. Even he felt guilty for saying and acting rudely to his aunt Airin who was also his parent's replacement.
