Dewi invited Citra to drink coffee at a roadside cafe. They sit facing.
"Actually, I really wanted children. But Tio always refused. And I don't know what to do." said the Goddess bowed.
"If that's the case, you can consult Dina's doctor. Because he is an obstetrician." Citra replied.
"After all, she won't understand because she has never been married and has children" replied the Goddess as she squeezed her fingers.
The image gulped his coffee.
"It's a sensitive issue between married couples. Honestly, I have no one else to speak frankly like this other than you Cit." continued Dewi full of smiles.
"Thank you. I'm grateful that you treated me like this." Citra replied.
"I wonder what reason Tio wouldn't want to have children. How is he related to his parents?" then I asked the Goddess. Sipped coffee back from the glass that he had been holding.
"His parents were ordinary people. They do not interfere in our affairs." replied the Goddess full of gentleness.
"Continue, why not just do a couple consultation? Our hospital got a new psychiatrist, so you can consult him" Citra assured Dewi. The goddess smiled, but only sadness seemed.
"He will definitely oppose it. He never listens to me." replied the Goddess lethargic.
"Patience. Because it's not something that can be forced. I hope you get a middle ground on your problems. Ii'm sorry. I can't help you" Citra said softly in support of her best friend.
"How are you? Is your relationship with Hendra okay?" ask the Goddess suddenly. The image was stunned hearing the Goddess's sudden question.
"Every couple has problems. So too with us. We are no different." replied Cita full of assertiveness with a faint smile. The Goddess stared intently at Citra.
"I was yesterday from Tio's office. I think I saw you yesterday in the parking lot" Citra said casually as usual.
"I saw you yesterday too." The goddess answered him quickly.
"Aren't you wondering what I was up there?" ask Citra while smiling.
The goddess smiled.
"Tio is a very reliable financial advisor in this city. So I'm not surprised you came to see him. Forgive me for taking your time while you're busy" said Dewi to get up from her seat and leave Citra.
"If there's anything you need to know, I'll tell you everything" Citra said as the Goddess passed by her. Suddenly, the Goddess turned to Citra who did not look at her. The goddess smiled. Then leave Citra.
"Let's meet tonight at 8. I'm waiting for you" said a text message from Tio. The image was silent and then put the phone back in the bag and back again to the Hospital.
At night, David who now lives in Meli's apartment is hungry. He was looking for food in the fridge, but he had no food. Only mineral water. Then he went to the kitchen. He was not looking in the food closet. Looked in the drawer, jiga wasn't there. Until finally, David found the drugs that Meli hid.
The new Meli came to work, immediately took the bottle of medicine that David was holding.
"Give it back" Meli said as she picked up her tranquilizer bottle.
"You promised you wouldn't take this medicine again" David said.
"What do you think is, I started taking drugs because who the hell?" bentak Meli's.
"I stopped drinking it. I don't need this if you're not here." continued Meli.
David smiled cynically.
"I've been curious all along. How can the doctor convince you. It's because of this drug, isn't it?" said David.
"No, it's not what you think it is." said Meli, because she saw a sneaky smile on David's face.
"What did I think?" satirize David with his wily smile. I don't know what David is planning right now. With his 2 fingers tapping on the table, Meli knew David was thinking about something. Something not good for sure.
