The Regret of the Wife

The Regret of the Wife
The Bitter Agus Part 2

Clear threads wet the clean white face. Agus could not hold back his tears while he was telling his bitter life. Misfortune for misfortune occurred after he was sentenced to become a fiancee. His ability to speak had also been snatched from him. Having the status of waiting and talking makes him not confident to interact with people around him including his family. He tends to be shy and quiet. The house he lived in bore witness to his years of decline.

"It's not just that" said Agus back to tell his past and still use sign language.

Since his father learned the fact his youngest son became a disabled his father's nature seemed to change one hundred and eighty degrees. If the attention was now changed and increasingly ignore Agus. Even when he reached school age, not even his father wanted to finance his education to Extraordinary School. Education is very important, especially for people with disabilities like him. This is to form the psychological child so that he can appear confident despite having physical deficiencies.

"Why aren't you financed? Did you not manage to finance it before. Because, what I know is that Extraordinary School (SLB) costs a lot." asked Lia astonished and increasingly curious.

"No, my father used to be a well-respected village chief in this village. There's no way he can't afford my school. Because at that time and until now my father was struggling with treasure. The land wherever there are acres. Even if you don't know about 100 meters from this house there's a fish pond that belongs to you." Clearly Agus while pointing with his index finger the position and location where the fish pond is located.

"Then why didn't he send you to school?. It means your father lied to my family. That's what I know from Mr. Ridwan's story. You graduated from Elementary School and did not proceed to a higher level of education because you do not want to go to school" said Lia told the reality.

"That's all a lie, you never want to send me to school because he said kasian with me" said Agus denied Lia's statement.

"That's the name you're fooled, your father is wrong. What to feel sorry for. You should be a school, let you be smart and be a successful person even if you lack. Were all your sisters in school? asked Lia again more and more curious.

" Yes, all my sisters are in school. Even Suparman's brother was the only father who went to college. I'm the only one who doesn't go to school." Agus said sadly.

Now Agus knows the truth if his father does not love him. This can be proven because it is not fought in terms of education. A father should be able to account for his child's education, especially accompanied by a qualified ability to finance it.

"Maybe, it has something to do with Bu Hajar. Because since marrying Bu Hajar, you often hear the words of Bu Hajar both about the interests of his son to his financial interests. Everything is arranged by him." Agus explained back.

"Unfortunately you, you are stuck with a painful situation. In front of others you are glorified but in fact you are the one who became the victim. Praising does not mean being proud of you, expressing affection in a crowd of people does not mean you are loved. All camouflage only seeks empathy from people to boost his popularity as the ideal Father. It's the opposite." she said inwardly.

"Tock...Geck...Geck..." The sound of the door being knocked.

Lia opened the door.

" Uh Father." Sapa Lia's.

"Have you had breakfast?" asked Mr. Ridwan.

"Alhamdulillah is sir. I want breakfast here."Lia said offer.

"Oh well, it just so happens that you haven't had breakfast. Your mother had gone to the fields early in the morning. And forgot not to make breakfast." Obviously Mr. Ridwan then he sat down and Lia took a plate and thrust rice and side dishes that he cooked at dawn did not forget to also offer a glass of water for his father-in-law.

His father-in-law praised the deliciousness of his cooking. He even went twice. Lia was also happy that her cooking was praised but she was always humble that she could not cook just trying to make it as good as she could. If the results are good, he is very grateful.
