Chapter 5: The Chinderella

Along the way to the Shop this morning Reina paddled her bike with an ever-expanding smile. He could not hide his happy feelings, even occasionally singing small songs. Sing a song that rhymes with his mood.

Kriyie. Reina was aghast, the sound of her phone breaking the awkward atmosphere between them. Reina picks up the phone from the apron pocket, an incoming call but is left alone, from an unknown number usually a phone call from sales or marketing.

Reina nodded, then half-run Reino up the stairs back to her room.

The clock showed that at 11pm, Reina had finished her bath and was getting ready for bed. He remembered the piece of paper that Reino had given him this afternoon, but he had forgotten to keep it where it had caused him to panic a little. After reaching into several pockets in his shirt, bag and pants, he finally found the paper in the pocket of his training pants.

" Luckily, I thought it was wasted "

Reina was relieved to find the paper, before she slipped it in the apron, and then she moved it elsewhere. Because there were too many invoices and notes tucked in his pocket, some were thrown into the trash can thankfully the paper from Reino he had moved and not wasted.

Reina held a piece of paper, the paper that seemed to be torn from the notebook, and there was a phone number written in Reino's handwriting.

Reina pressed down one by one the numbers written on the paper, although her heart was still doubtful due to mixed feelings. Should he call her or not? But Reina's longing made her want to hear Reino's voice. After a while Reina managed to organize her heart, she called Reino.

Tuuuuut tuuuut phone was connected, but there was no answer. Reina waited for a while, and tried to call him again.

“It's almost midnight, maybe he's asleep. Should I call her tomorrow?” Reina Mumbled. The corner of his eye glanced at the ball-shaped alarm clock on the table.

Just before Reina was about to hang up the phone, someone heard a voice.

“ Halo” Reino's voice is heard from the other end.

Reina's heart was pounding, just hearing her voice had made Reina so misbehaved. It was very desirable for Reina to scream at that moment.

“ Re..Reina” said as she tried to stay calm.

“ Ah forgive me, I had a little job so I raised”

“ No, no, I should be apologizing for calling you in the middle of the night like this”

“ It's okay, today I'm long shift. I'm awake till morning. I'm glad you called me because I usually start to get a little sleepy at this hour, thankfully I was there to accompany ” Reino said while sipping black coffee just finished He stirred.

“Really? Thank goodness then” Reina smiled in relief. 

Their chat was still very awkward, because after 7 years they had just met and chatted again, Reina and Reino both were kagok to open the chat. Silent, both are silent.

“ Me ..” Reina and Reino spoke together.

“ You used to” Reino said

Their laughter broke, their small laughter slightly breaking the awkwardness. 

“ Alright then I used to” Reino is still giggling.

“ How are you?”

“ Aaah, I'm good too. I'm glad you're okay, you haven't heard from you all this time. After moving to town I went back there and stopped by the parlour, but the nanny there said you got foster parents and didn't know where you were living. “ Aaah” Reina who momentarily drowned in memory last night remembered Jo's order. His body stood up.

Reina rushed to prepare the order as usual, had to be quick or she would be late.

“ Today you're dropping off again?” Tanya Raya's.

“Umm, until Mr. Dito comes back I have to take this to his house. Thanks yeah, you always replace my duty every time I go”

“What's wrong, after all the store is not crowded in the morning” Raya helped put the cake box into plastic.

Reina sped fast on her scooter towards Jovan's palace.

Reina passed through the gate while still riding a scooter, not how long Reina almost reached the main door of the house He saw Jovan who was sitting while reading a book on a park bench. Jo got up from her seat, took the plastic cake from Reina's hand and walked past her who was still standing staring at the book on the table.

Reina walked up to the table, picked up the book with the hardcover cover but the contents were not so thick . After the book was in hand, Reina rubbed the book, She was so happy to get the long-cherished book. Because it was expensive Reina could not afford it. Every time through the bookstore, the book was always on the front shelf of best seller books at a price that was quite expensive for Reina. He could not believe the book was in his hands.

“ Thank you Young master, ah no. Thank you Joooooo” Shouted Reina.

Jo stopped, then looked.

“ That's a gift because you gave me this” Reina brandished her book while smiling broadly happily. Reina who was so happy kissed and hugged the book tightly.

Jo just kept quiet, then he smiled thinly but unfortunately Reina did not see it because Jo smiled as she turned her body and passed.

At the store, Reina still rubbed the book Jo gave her, a smile that did not slip from her lips all the way home to the store.

“Wah, the book looks very expensive” Comment Raya while wiping the empty cake tray.

“Yes this book is expensive, because this book is made by the world's number one chef. Ah even the cover looks luxurious once”

Jo is currently enrolled as a final semester student, she should have graduated this year but Jo did not continue and instead took leave so she lost her rights as heir for a while until she actually completed her studies.

Before leaving the room, Jo had seen a pastry book lined up at the outlet table. The book was one of the doorprize for lucky visitors on the day of the inauguration of the opening of a new outlet.

“ Bring one for me” Jo points at the book, then walks towards the main lobby. One of the five people who accompanied Jo hinted to immediately find the same book. The middle-aged man who served as general manager immediately called the part in charge of supplying the book.

Jo's sitting in his fancy car, the engine's on. As the car window glass door slowly closed, from a distance the general manager ran closer to his car carrying the book that Jo asked for.

Jo received the book from the half-closed car window. The General Manager bowed in respect.

The car drove, out through the main gate of the building, getting farther and more invisible.

The book was indeed new, when he saw the book Jovan thought to give it to Reina. He felt that Reina had a talent that could be developed. 

That's how Jo got the book that ended up being Reina's.

“Do you have time today this week?” Scripting. Message from Reino.

Reina was silent, yet to reply. Take a peek at the message and read it.

“Wah soliciting a date, I don't think He can waste time just like that” Comment Kingdom.

“Is that true?”

It's been 10 minutes, and there's no answer. Finally Reina put her phone in a drawer under the cashier table, right after the customer came in. Reina and Raya serve customers who order cakes and tea to eat on-site.

The atmosphere of the store was quite crowded, all the tables were filled and some people bought cakes to take home. Busyness made him not have time to check his phone, after the store situation was quite quiet Reina remembered the chat that had not been replied to Reino, Reino, after seeing the condition is quite safe he took his phone from the drawer to check if there was an answer to the chat earlier.

Two days passed, Reina's daily activities went as smoothly as they should. Delivering morning chocolate to Jo's house on time, returning home at night and delivering the rest of the cake to a boarding neighbor. Two days are quite tiring, solid daily activity from morning until late at night.

Without feeling like it was Saturday, Reina should have taken a day off tomorrow but she had already made an appointment to meet with Reino. The promise that made him unable to close his eyes tonight, not even his tired body was enough to make him sleepy. It had been two hours he had just rolled around in bed and occasionally opened his phone, reread a short message from Reino some time ago, and smiled at himself.

There was the sound of a motorbike burning and the boarding gate being shifted, the day was already before dawn some residents had started to go to work.  Reina was still awake, her eyes looked real. He was shocked to see his own face in the mirror.

“Okay how is this? Why can't I sleep all night?” Reina washed and rubbed her face with soap, washed it with water and dried it with a small towel with a picture of clouds. Unfortunately it did not help, his face still looks dull, tired and tangled face due to being awake all night.

Reina headed for the kitchenette at the end of her room, opened the fridge and looked for something she could wear to reduce the dullness on her face. There is only one cucumber and tomato. Reina sliced it thinly and made it as a face mask.

“I hope this works” Mumbles in the heart. Reina laid her body on the bed while slowly sticking one after another slices of tomatoes and cucumbers on her face.

Drrrrrrt . Reina's phone is shaking. Jovan calls, but Reina doesn't hear him because since last night Reina hasn't changed her ring mode. Reina was still casually lying on the bed with a vegetable mask that enveloped the entire face, occasionally pressing slowly on the face with both palms. The cold taste of cucumber and tomato that stick to the face makes it a little rilex, a feeling of comfort that eventually unconsciously makes drowsiness. Reinapun asleep.

The clock shows at 4:30 p.m. Reina was aghast, waking up from her deep sleep. He was shocked and panicked to see the day was approaching and he just woke up. He rushed to the bathroom, cleaned the rest of the mask that was stuck on his face and bathed with lightning fast.

After finishing the bath, with Reina still wrapped in a towel opened her closet, she was confused what clothes should be worn, one by one the contents of the closet flew over the bed. Finally after trying to mix and match a few pairs of clothes in front of the mirror, Reina decided to wear blue jeans with plain knit shirts in light pink. In addition, Iapun only had time to pigtail his hair when at first he wanted to roll his hair to look a little wavy, unfortunately the time will not be able to mepet. His face was only coated with a thin powder and a little pink liptint on his lips.

Reina stuffed her phone and wallet into her usual black carry-on bag that she brought to the store every day, locked the door of the boarding room, rushed down the stairs, then walk to the front of the alley leading to the place where Reino was waiting. Reina was overwhelmed with anxiety, worried that Reino was disappointed in her for being late on the first day they walked together.

Elsewhere where Jovan was sitting leaning against a luxurious sofa overlooking the window, he tried to call Reina a second time, still no answer. Jovan looked at his phone with a wrinkled forehead, starting to get annoyed.

A bored Jovan goes to the basement to pick up his big motorbike parked in the garage. There lined up various brands of luxury cars and motorcycles, Jovan chose a large motorbike located at the end of the garage that is the same area as the indoor pool for the Olympics.

Someone screamed for Jo, the man in white with black pants who is 65 this year. He is the head of a household assistant who doubles as a regulator of his master's schedule during his stay at home, he ran towards Jo who was already sitting on a motorcycle complete with a helmet on his head, Jo prepared to plunge the gas.

“I'm sorry Young Master, but half an hour is your schedule to meet with penase ..”

“ I'm sorry ” Reina is embarrassed because her appearance looks ordinary.

“I'm sorry, I don't seem to be used to” complained Reina.

Reina's heart was racing again.

They both walked towards the elevator, the 20th floor.

Reino invites Reina to dinner at the hotel's fine restaurant. Hotel with a European style interior, there is even a live performance of a pianist and violinist in the corner of the restaurant. The high ceiling with a sparkling crystal lamp decoration adds a luxurious and romantic impression.

A waiter came over, just as they entered the restaurant door.

“Welcome Mr and Madam, please come here” The waiter takes them to the seat Reino had booked earlier, the seat next to the large glass window that surrounds the entire room of the restaurant. From behind the glass restaurant looks so pampering the eyes, the view of the building building , also vehicles along the city road full of lights like a flashing star, Reina so amazed made.

The female servant in black suit uniform helped pull the bench for Reina. Reina is so clumsy, she tries so hard to master herself to look relaxed.

Reino opened the menu book, Reina followed.

“Reina, what menu do you like?” Ask Reino.

“So you've been living with your new parents?” Reino opened another topic of conversation.

“Actually I was only with them during junior high school, after my mother died I lived alone in the city. A lot of things happened that made me have to part with Ayah” explained Reina.

“Is that? Looks like you're going through a tough time”

“Ya I think so” Reina said in an awkward tone.

“Nothing, everyone has their own hard times and has to go through those days”

Reino again checked his phone which read, there were some chats from doctor Monika.

“Sister, can I ask you something?”

“Say” Reino deregulates replying to chat on his phone.

“That time did Brother really not recognize me?”

“That time?” Reino remembered for a while

“Ah do you mean in hospital?”

“Ya” the curious Reina, with a serious face waiting for an answer from Reino.

“At first I was surprised, I felt you were not a stranger. It took me a while until I really remembered you”

“Hmmm Maybe because it's been too long, it's only natural that Brother doesn't recognize me”

The conversation stopped, Reina was still stunned not believing what she had just heard.

Reino is preoccupied with replying to the chat that is lined up on his phone.

Before long, a luxurious dish was complete on the table, then they also enjoyed dinner together with a warm and romantic atmosphere.

Tonight Reina becomes Chinderella, everything changes in an instant with the power of the Fairy Godmother. And Reino is a real-life Fairy to Reina.
