Strangled Rabecca, Robert and Kendrick at the same time when they saw Taomasa who suddenly blocked the bullet that shot toward William until it hit his own chest.

Iriana who heard the screams of her parents immediately opened her two eyes that had been closed and looked up again to look at William who looked stunned.

Without saying a word William immediately turned his body towards Taomasa as well as Iriana, at once they were both surprised not to play when they knew that Taomasa was the one who was shot.

" Grandpa!" uriana's cry, the next second the woman immediately fainted unconscious.

William who was still near Iriana was immediately alert to support his wife's body so as not to fall to the floor.

Meanwhile, Robert and Rabecca ran straight to Taomasa, who was now lying on the floor.

" daddy...Daddy hang on." said Rabecca, propping Taomasa's head in her lap.

Realizing that his shot missed and hit Taomasa, Charlos panicked and tried to escape to save himself from Robert's rampage.

" Maos!" Furious Robert, Seeing his father who was drenched in the blood of his devil soul began to rise.

Shortly after that Justin, Alfred and Victor came with their men as well as Zavier's men so that the shooting was inevitable.

Both Robert and Zavier threw their hot lead at each other until the atmosphere in the room changed violently due to the sound of gunshots that continued to sound unpretentious.

" Iriana-Iriana.." said Taomasa, who was slowly losing consciousness.

With little difficulty Rabecca and Kendrick finally managed to bring Taomasa up to Rabecca's car, as well as William who had already taken Iriana to the hospital using his own car.

After traveling for twenty minutes William and Kendrick finally arrived at the hospital, when he arrived there both Iriana and Taomasa were immediately handled by a doctor.

The frantic Rabecca continued to walk back and forth in front of the room where her father-in-law and daughter were being examined by the doctor.

Seeing this William who had just finished ordering Kendrick to ask for royal assistance to help Robert and others immediately walked up to the woman who is now his mother-in-law status.

" I'm sorry." said William after stopping right in front of Rabecca.

" I should have been able to take good care of your daughter, and regarding Mr. Taomasa I also apologize for that, since I should have been the one in her current position, as well, if it wasn't for protecting me then he wouldn't be"

" It's not your fault prince." said Rabecca.

If Robert could catch Charlos early, none of this would have happened.

After hearing Rabecca's explanation, William's heart felt as if it was on the prick of thousands of needles, somehow his chest ached when he remembered how he hated Taomasa for the misunderstanding he made himself.

" No. It's an old wound." looks like William lied when just yesterday he got an operating wound on his stomach.

William obediently followed Rabecca's steps, who continued to pull her hand, without anyone noticing the corner of William's lips slightly raised to form a thin smile.

The silver-eyed man was so reminded of his biological mother who also always pulled her hand when she wanted to treat the wounds on his body.

" Check her too." Rabecca told a nun who was there.

" But I don't like it when strangers touch me Mom." Unknowingly William calls Rabecca Mom.

" I'm sorry, what did the prince say?" Rabecca makes sure again whether she misheard it or not.

" I mean I'm allergic to being in contact with strangers, especially a girl" sounds strange indeed, but that's the only reason that comes to William's mind right now.

" What am I really saying! there are allergies like that! this is all because of this brazen mouth why you should be disappointed to call him Mommy!" william's grumble in heart.

Rabecca and Sister are confused by William's answer, and Rabecca decides to take the medicine box from the nurse and tell her to leave.

" So when I pulled it, your hand wasn't allergic so let me treat you" Rabecca said, then picked up a cotton swab and started treating William's wounds.

Patently and conscientiously Rabecca cleaned and treated the wound in William's abdomen.

" So all this time you've been deliberately leaving Iriana just to uncover who's behind my sister's murder?" William recalls a few hours ago when he and Taomasa arrived in their A country heading straight to Robert's headquarters and it was there that he knew the reason why Robert and Rabecca left Iriana with Taomasa and Lily.

" Hmm but it's all over now, the king's accusation against you has been proven untrue and my husband must have arrested Charlos and handed him over to the government to decide what punishment was appropriate for the devious man." said Rabecca, still busy with William's wounds.

" But what you're doing is really hurting Iriana, it's going to be really hard for her to forgive you.."

" Not only was he we were hurt, but we did it all for the common good, for the safety of Adriana and for the responsibility we promised your grandfather." Rebecca explained. " And as for his forgiveness, Robert and I will try very hard to win it" he added.

" Well, I promise I'll help you get an apology from Iriana" William said.

Although what he promised was not enough to repay the kindness of Robert and Rabecca but at least when Iriana reunited and lived happily with her parents again it was enough for William.

" If you want to help then after this please stay away from Iriana, I don't want her getting involved further with you or with the kingdom, the underworld is cruel but the royal environment is crueler and more complicated." Rabecca's request leaves William speechless.

What Rabecca said was true but to stay away from Iriana, William certainly would not be able to, Iriana was his life then how could he live if Iriana was far away from him.

" Your wounds have been treated by the prince, after this you can return to the palace with the royal guard." Rabecca said formally then bowed respectfully then immediately left William who was still busy with his own thoughts.

Rabecca's feet continued to step leading her to the handling room Taomasa and Iriana, from a distance saw the door of the room open from the inside making Rabecca increasingly speed up her steps.

" How are they doing Doc?" ask Rabecca when she gets to the doctor.

" Lord Taomasa has passed his critical period, we managed to pull out a bullet that hit his chest, fortunately the bullet did not penetrate too deep so it did not hurt his vital organs" explained the middle-aged man.

" Thank God, then what about my daughter?" Rabecca breathed a sigh of relief knowing Taomasa was fine, she expected the same to Iriana.

" Your daughter..."

" Becomecca!" someone stopped the doctor's words.

Feeling her name being called by the familiar baritone voice in her ear, Rabecca immediately turned to the source of the voice and saw Robert running small to his direction with a woman who was none other than Liliyana.
