CHAPTER 24

The light woke up that morning. He saw on his right side there was no Bayu there. "Mas Bayu doesn't sleep here? Maybe in his study."

Then he got out of bed and out of his room. He headed for Bayu's already unlocked workspace. Then he entered the room and saw Bayu sleeping on his couch with his cell phone on his chest. His pajamas are open too. Lots of tissue on the floor.

"Mas Bayu sick?" The light touched Bayu's forehead but Bayu actually woke up.

"Yes." She was still very sleepy after almost a night of video calls with Nissa.

"Sickness?"

Bayu shook his head. "Evening finished the job for a while but fell asleep."

"Why so many tissues? Colds."

Instantly Bayu woke up and forbade the Light from taking it. "Let me take care of it."

Light feels strange with Bayu. What exactly is he doing in his study? Just this time Bayu slept in his study. Then the light came out and went back into his room. He took a shower before preparing breakfast that day.

After the two of them entered, Bayu's car immediately drove towards the Light company.

On the way, he clasped Light's hand several times with his left hand.

I feel guilty about Aya, I shouldn't have tempted another woman. I'm the one who married Aya, I'm the one who never let go. I should've made him comfortable instead of hurting him.

The light just stared at the confused treatment of Bayu. "Mas, why?"

"Sir papa. Later in the day, we have lunch together. I'll take you to your office."

The light just nodded its head. "Mas, be careful too." Then he got out of the car. The light still knitted his brows while entering into his office.

"Nindi, you are now coming with me to the Light place," Arion said after checking all the financial statements.
