Episode 8 ~ About Amanda

CHAPTER 8

As usual, Amanda went home and went straight to the room. He locked himself in his room. It's always like that. Even Bi Imah who is a maid in the house has been memorized by the habits of her employer's son.

Bi Imah understands why Amanda behaves like that. Amanda used to be a friendly and jolly girl. But since her parents worked abroad, and left Amanda alone in Indonesia with a maid and driver, Amanda turned 180° into a quiet, indifferent, and aloof girl.

Amanda was born from a distinguished family, but to get the attention of her parents sedikiuitt only.

Her parents were very busy doing this and that. He also gives news to her rarely. They were never home. Maybe on certain days. Amanda felt she was no longer considered a child. He felt he had no parents anymore.

Amanda's upset herself.  They are so busy with their own business. Never once did they think how his daughter was.

The most important thing for them is money. With money all the needs of the family and Amanda are met. It doesn't matter, as long as they have money. For his parents, money was everything. But they never know, there are things that can never be bought with money. That is affection. Yeah, Amanda misses her parents' affection so much.

Amanda is a quiet girl. He doesn't like to socialize. She is also known as the Ice Princess. He won't talk if nothing matters. He never cared about anyone else.

He was so absorbed in his own world. Always alone and very fond of novels. Novels are her true friends. With the novel, he could forget for a moment about his life's problems. No wonder, if in his room there are so many novels lined up neatly on his bookshelf. The mysterious Ice Princess. That's Amanda.

The girl threw her bag everywhere, then dropped her body on the bed.

"A tiring day" he thought.

He still does not understand why his first day of MOS became his unlucky day. He's clucking softly. He rubbed the tired face violently. His mind drifted back to the figure of the man who had given him the bottle of mineral water.

Amanda shouldn't have received that mineral water. After all, the guy himself had taken her to the BK room, and because of her Amanda got punished. So why does that guy care so much about her?

"Non, eat first. Aunty was ready for Non Manda's favorite food" Bi Imah called Amanda while slowly knocking on the girl's room door.

"Not yet laper bi" replied Amanda briefly.

He grabbed the earphones located on his study table, then put them on his ear. His eyes were closed enjoying the flow of music, bringing a new strength to him. The pain still hit his joints. He doesn't care about that. Now, he just wants to be alone.

"You'll die too, like my parents won't care!" He opened his eyes, looking up at the ceiling.

Everything that happened was so heavy. He can't stand all this.  She wanted to scream at people that she needed someone to share all the pain. He was so tired of everything he faced. Yeah, Amanda's been lying to herself. He pretended to be strong and strong. All this time, he was fragile, he was tired. There are so many wounds in her. But he managed to hide it with his cold and stubborn nature.

"Gue hates my own life" he said slowly.
