CHAPTER 22
"Lo likes to read fiction novels?" Farrel raised next to his eyebrows while leaning against the school library's bookshelf.
He looked at the girl who had been staring intently at him. Although upset, but Amanda a little relieved because Farrel no longer call her with frills 'fixed'.
"Repo!" answer Amanda jutek.
"Casual! My eyes are glaring to come out!" Farrel chuckled softly.
"This is the book!" Amanda tried to take the book out of Farrel's hands. But Farrel deliberately held the book aloft, preventing Amanda from taking it.
"You sure you want to read a novel like this?" Farrel frowned.
"Lo who the hell?! Don't be so familiar!" amanda said annoyed.
"Sokay know?" Farrel scrunched his forehead. After so many events that Amanda meets her, the girl still does not know who she is? Impossible!
"This is the book!" Amanda forced.
"So!"
"Reverse!"
"So!"
"Damn it!" say Amanda a little hard to cause some people who were there turned to look at the two of them.
Farrel smiled clumsyly and apologized a few times, while Amanda seemed to care nothing at all.
"Take it if you can." challenge Farrel in a whisper. Not wanting the conversation to disturb the others.
Amanda rolled her eyes lazy, but did not stop trying to take the novel from Farrel's hands.
"So you mean I'm short?"
"Gue didn't say. You said it yourself" replied Farrel casually. He looked at Amanda with a smile. But for some reason, the smile felt disdainful in Amanda's eyes.
Amanda did not like Farrel's attitude towards her. More than that, he hated Farrell. The man seemed to care and wanted to be friends with him. Or perhaps, the man felt sorry for her, because she had no friends? I don't know. But Amanda won't care. He won't be trapped. Amanda realized. The world is so cruel when we have people we care about. He will separate us from them. Enough Amanda had experienced it, not wanting to repeat it again.
Amanda picks up the novel quickly when Farrel is off guard. Without saying a word, he left Farrel.
"Sweird and.unique" said Farrel slowly. She observes Amanda who has come out of the library and walks further and further away from her.
**********
The sound of rain was heard outside. Make some people who pass by immediately run away from the rain to just shelter until the rain subsides. There are also some who immediately gas return to his warm home.
Amanda stared at the rain. From then on the girl just daydreamed indistinctly. Nothing he really thinks about. He just wanted to be alone and look. I don't know what to think.
The girl was still in front of her class located on the third floor. Class X kids are coming downstairs to go home. Amanda still doesn't flinch.
Sometimes he looked down at the field, which seemed empty. Yep. Sure oes. No one is interested in playing the rain like a Kindergarten child as he did before.
"What daydream, beautiful?" The greeting someone managed to make Amanda a little surprised.
Quickly, Amanda turned to the source of the voice. Three men in uniform were removed and a second collar button was opened.
Amanda glanced at the arm of one of the boys and found a bet that read the number 'XII'. Twelfth grade.
