Chapter 59 The Strange Disease

Usman Ali Kemal left the post home for his office feeling still very worried about the oddity that happened to his wife. He looked extremely agitated and was also unwilling to leave Laura in such a state.

Meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain) or encephalitis (inflammation of brain tissue). Brain tumor. Intestinal obstruction.

"Oh no, hopefully Laura didn't experience the things that were in that article except that, early pregnancy?" he said with a chest that suddenly thumped incoherently. His finger that was scrolling through the screen of the communication tool was now so trembling because of a happy feeling that suddenly emerged from his heart.

"Turn back home!" tell the driver.

"Well Sir!" answer the driver obediently.

"Hem, Great." The man smiled with his chest pounding incoherently. She recalled that since meeting Laura Evelin, she had never had a period. And they've never been on vacation to do anything really fun except lately.

And now, he wanted to ascertain what he thought of his wife's circumstances. Toyota Alphard was finally turning the direction to the house of office even though the mayor's office was seen in plain sight.

A few minutes later the wife came out of the bathroom and was escorted by Nadia. It seems that Laura is very weak.

"Darling, I'm sorry yes" the man said with a step closer but Laura raised her hand in the air to forbid the man from moving from her place.

"Hum, okay. You just rest, baby. But please tell me, Nad, what happened to your mother why is there such a strange disease?" asked Usman while looking at the beautiful doctor who was between the two of them. Nadia did not answer. She saw Laura asking her permission to explain what was happening. Laura simply smiled then nodded her head. Laura actually wanted to say it in person but it felt like she was very exhausted at the moment.

"Nadia! Answer my question!!" Usman was impatient.

"Mak Laura is pregnant with your baby sister" replied Nadia smiling. The girl could see a shocked expression from the mayor's face. Usman felt his chest filled with an assortment of blooming flowers. He was so happy that he was no longer strong enough to talk.

The handsome man immediately looked at his wife who was also staring at him. He wanted to come closer, hug, and kiss his wife because she was so happy but he couldn't do it.

"Thank you very much, dear. Hugging kisses from far away for you Laura," Usman said with a full smile.

"Sama-sama. But how can I go back?"

"I miss you dear and also want to prove one thing if you are really pregnant or not. And thank God you are really pregnant."

"Yes," answered Laura and laid her body on the bed. His body he felt weak with his head he felt dizzy. He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.

"You don't go anywhere Nad, Asma will also come to accompany you to keep your mother. So I go, yes" said the man after seeing an expensive, circular watch fitting his hand.

"Yes, brother." Nadia agreed. There is no other business today either. Usman passed from before him. The man came out of his room and wanted to continue his pending activities.

"We went to the office first new to the hotel." he told Priga the aide.

"Good sir." They went to the office for about an hour. The mayor remembered that there were still many files of ASNs that he had to sign.

Not long enough on the way, they had arrived in front of the hotel. Usman Ali Kemal got out of the car with his aide Priga.
