Chapter 17 The Strange Man

Laura Eveline ran out of her room while smiling to herself. It felt like his chest wanted to explode from being happy. The red hue on his cheek proves that he is really very happy at the moment.

"This is all mom's order too?" Asma Safawi stared at the pile of clothes with new models and colors in front of her. As he recalled, they did not order any other clothes other than the official clothes as the mayor's mother.

"Mas Usman wants us to couple Asthma."

"Huh? Oh? Hehe..." Asthma's facial expression was fickle because she was so shocked by what had just happened before her. The clothes are so nice and beautiful.

"Ah yes Ma'am. Congratuations. I'm very happy." A big smile was on the girl's face.

"Sorry Mom. If everything is done. Where are we taking all these clothes?" ask one of the boutique employees politely.

"What's wrong Mom." The employee was also happy to see the simple nature displayed by the mayor's wife. Truly they had never seen a wife of such a very humble official.

"You come with me to my room. Come on Asthma." Laura took them with her clothes to her room. They all followed the owner's steps.

"But wait here first yes, I ask permission first with Mr. Wali," said Laura when they arrived in front of the main room in the post.

"Yes, ma'am, please. We'll wait" replied one of them. Laura smiled then knocked on the door of the room and immediately entered. And so surprised she was because her husband was still like before his appearance. He hasn't even changed clothes yet.

"Mas, why aren't you ready? All the guests have been waiting for you since," said Laura Eveline as she approached her husband who seemed still lazy in his single seat. The man did not answer. His face showed that he was thinking heavy things. Even so, he is very handsome in any way.

"Sir?" Laura changed her call. She was afraid that her husband would become angry with her for not asking permission to use the call. Usman did not answer. He was busy flipping through the books he was reading.

Laura Eveline took a deep breath. He changed worried. She was afraid that her husband would return to fashion and not like her anymore.

"Out is Vivi's boutique employee. They're delivering the clothes we ordered last night. Can they come in sir?" pinta the woman was scared. She really does not know the nature of her husband. And now he felt the room was cold.

"Sir, may? Poor them. There must be other work that they will do after this." said the woman again as she folded her hands in front of her chest pleading.

"Hem" replied the man with eyes glancing at his wife's face from behind the book he was reading. Laura Eveline smiled then immediately ran towards the door. He wanted to open the door to the room and allow the boutique employee to come in with a lot of clothes.

"Wait!" The voice of Usman Ali Kemal suddenly sounded from behind him. The woman's hand hung in the air. He did not open the door. He turned his body and looked at the man who was looking at him.

"Why sir?" he asked with a confused face.

"It's okay. Think for yourself what your mistake was this morning." replied the man then immediately to the bathroom. He really wanted to splash his body with cold water at this moment.

Laura Eveline has managed to make herself a fool in an instant. The woman just shrugged her shoulders with a confused face. That guy's getting weird.
