Finally Accepting The Offer

Today Nathan's house is filled with people who come to worship. Leo doesn't want his father taken to Nathan's house. But how else, he had nowhere else, because he was still living in the apartment, and Nathan gave it to him.

There was nothing Leo did but stare at the white cloth covering his father's body. His sight never separated from the white cloth. His soul was completely shaken. Half his life had gone and left him alone in that cruel world. There is no longer a place to share, a place to pour out everything, a place to joke, a place to ask for opinions, and no place to talk openly. Now the figure had left him, and even more stifling was that it would never return.

Leo doesn't even care about the people who come. All he had in mind was his father. Why is God so cruel as to take the only person precious to him? Where exactly is his mistake?

Nathan sat down next to Leo. He wants to comfort his best friend, but he knows Leo is still mad at him. Nathan can only pray that Leo will take everything for granted, and there is no such thing as revenge.

While Dara was busy entertaining the citizens who came to worship. To be honest, he was still shocked until now. It feels like a dream. They just walked together, laughed together, and took pictures together. But now it's all just a memory.

"Where are you taking the body, sir?" ask the nurse in a sad tone.

"Bring to my house. I'll send you the address immediately." It was not Leo who answered, but Nathan.

Leo looked at Nathan sharply for the sake of saying it.

"This one time you'll let me, Yo. I need to be buried immediately." Nathan paled in front of Leo.

Leo remained silent. Aye! He doesn't even have a home. It seemed like he really had to give up for now.

Slowly Leo nodded. Nathan smiled at him. Now he must strengthen his mentality to tell this matter to his wife. She was really scared if Dara heard the man she loved so much was gone. He was sure if the woman did not lose her hit later.

The hospital immediately delivered the body to the funeral home. Nathan and Leo were also released from the hospital. Nathan deliberately chose to go home first, because he wanted to tell his wife everything.

There was silence in the car. Nathan and Leo fell silent, not knowing what to talk about anymore. Actually Nathan was eager to invite Leo to talk, eager to strengthen his best friend. But he is aware that Leo may need time not to be bothered.

Not long after the car arrived at the house owned by him and Dara. Nathan got out of the car. Just as he was about to enter the house, he waited for his step when he realized that Leo was not following him.

"Why not go down?" nathan asked Leo who was silent.

Leo just shook his head at the sign no. It seemed like he was not interested in answering his question at all. Nathan was only able to exhale violently. He immediately went into the house to tell Dara about his death.

"Dar ...." Nathan looked at his wife who was watching television. His face now really seemed to describe if he was grieving.

Dara smothers her mouth to hear the fact Nathan spoke. She shook her head in trust, assuming that her husband must be lying. Nathan swiftly took his wife into his arms. He stroked Dara's back gently when he realized that the woman's body was shaking violently.

It felt like Dara was dying to slam the woman, but she was trying to hold it in, considering they were grieving right now.

With a contrived face, Lucy immediately landed her butt slightly closer to Leo's position.

"I'm so sorry, Leo .." said Lucy with tears streaming down her face. Kendrick's? There was absolutely no change in his face.

Leo circulated his gaze hearing a familiar voice in his ears. It turned out to be true as she expected, it turned out that the voice belonged to Lucy.

Nathan growled angrily at Lucy's whereabouts. What exactly does that woman want? Who is he, he really knows his best friend.

Leo only looked at Lucy for a moment, then looked back to the front, not intending to reply.

Lucy looked at Nathan as she felt the man staring at her earlier. He gives a sad look at the man, but is instead reciprocated cynicism by Nathan.

"Can I see the body?" lucy asked with a small sip coming out of her mouth.

Leo looked at Lucy. "No!" leo answered with emphasis. "No one can see it!"

Leo returned sobbing when he arrived at the funeral. It felt unable to bring his father to the final resting place. But how else? Maybe this is the best. Now he has to try to get everything.

Lucy who noticed the crying Leo certainly laughed happily in her heart. Seeing others suffer is a pleasure for him. Now he does not feel at all guilty for taking someone's life, because that person is now helping him to get what he wants.

Leo shook his head, he did not want to enter his father into the grave. He wants his father to rise. But is it possible?

With great difficulty while continuing to sob Leo finally went into the pit of the grave, then put his father there slowly.

He continued to cry throughout the funeral, until the land became a mountain. On the tombstone is clearly written the name of his father there. It feels really crowded!

The mourners left one by one, leaving Leo, Nathan, Dara, and their parents. Lucy and Kendrick are gone, but they're not really gone, but just a little away from the cemetery while monitoring from afar.

Leo continued to cry while hugging the earth. It certainly makes Lucy chuckle behind the tree.

"You see, she seems to be really hit, really bad" Lucy said.

"Would if Ronald died you wouldn't cry?" kendrick's question made Lucy speechless. He loved his son very much, and would never be willing if anyone hurt Ronald, and he would never be willing if Ronald left him. It will never!

"Don't talk about anything else, Ken!" assertive Lucy who seems not to like to hear his men carrying his son's name.

'She kills people without thinking about the feelings of others, but she is also just as unwilling if her son leaves her. Is this woman still worthy of being called a human?' kendrick's inner self screeches to see the nature of his master which he thinks is very disgusting.

"Didn't you feel guilty in the slightest?" ask Kendrick who looks curious.

Nathan and Dara eventually decide to return to the car alone, giving Leo time alone there. Maybe he needs his own time first.

Fifteen minutes there, Leo finally got up, intending to just leave. Just two steps away, his eyes unintentionally caught the figure of Lucy who was not far from him. He was silent for a moment. Not sure what was on his mind, he approached the woman.

"What's wrong?" ask Lucy with a soft look.

Leo was silent for a moment. But his gaze now showed no more sorrow, but there was a flash of anger in his eyes.

"Is last night's offer still valid?" ask Leo in a flat voice.

Lucy cheered inwardly, but she pretended not to remember. "offerings? What offer?" Lucy showed her innocent face.

"Tell me what to do. I will gladly do it!" said Leo steadily and only answered a small nod from Lucy. However, even though his facial expression was ordinary this time, it was actually in his heart that he cheered happily.

Apparently there was someone who heard all their talk from behind the tree. He snickered looking at them all.

"Okay, let's see who wins! You take your enemy too lightly Lucy!" muttered.

But unfortunately Kendrick saw the man hiding it. He just kept quiet, then threw a faint smile at the person. A smile that only he understood.

The figure then just left after knowing that Kendrick saw it.
