Chapter 9: The Memo

There was a small box and two envelopes there. In addition, the hair tie and the pretty handkerchief are in the same place.

In the corner of the box was a snowflake-shaped necklace and several pieces of spoiled peeping letters. More surprising to Min Joon are two foreign keys that have blue rose-shaped key chains, making him smile for a moment. Min Joon remembers very well about the keychain he gave away during Jin Hee's 17th birthday.

"Is this the real reason you didn't pick up my phone? But, they said you ..," Min Joon muttered when he saw Jin Hee's phone was also in the box. "What's this?" he said as he picked up the small red box.

Min Joon opened the small box and found two diamond rings, as well as a dull yellow scrap paper. The paper contained a strange message, "Go! This is the last warning! We met at the airport!"

Min Joon was surprised after reading the memo, his mind was in a state of turmoil. I don't know what really happened? Question after question encircled her little brain. He rushed downstairs and left Jin Hee's belongings in the room. The memo-ring box was grasped tightly. His face flushed red, Min Joon will explode.

"Dad! Dad ...!" min Joon shouted in front of his father's office.

"What's wrong? Why are you screaming like that? What's going on?" Her mother, who had just come from the room, looked a little panicked.

"Hasn't he gone home yet?"

"Not yet, what's up? What the hell is going on?"

"Mother, are you sure you don't know anything about Jin Hee's disappearance all this time?" Min Joon starts interrogating.

"What's? What's going on, son? What do you mean by that? Sit down!" his mother tried to calm him down.

"Mother!" call him sitting down, "you know where he's going, right? My Jin Hee."

"If you know, I'll tell you."

"I've been looking for him! I can finally find him. I found hope when I came back to this house and most likely you know something" Min Joon said.

"Do you think we're hiding it? You know, I'm not gonna let you be like this. Letting you look for him like a madman, if not for me also wanting Jin Hee as a daughter-in-law," her mother said staring at Min Joon sadly.

His mother continues to persuade Min Joon to believe his words. According to his mother, Min Joon's father did not want to interfere during the search for Jin Hee. But for Min Joon's sake, his father returned him to the company. In order for the man who had recently become that whiner, to be able to search for Jin Hee freely. Of course this sounds like a defense and still unable to remove Min Joon's thirst for real information. However, hearing that Min Joon still feels something strange.

"Dad must know something. Now I understand, why before returning to this house, he always stopped me from looking for Jin Hee" Min Joon argued emotionally.

"He's not stopping you, son! He just wants you to go back home!"

"Tell me if she's home!" flat Min Joon went towards the exit.

"Min Joon!" Her mother could only be silent to see Min Joon leaving. Several times his old voice called Min Joon slowly, trying to stop his son's steps. But Min Joon ignored his mother.

Min Joon drives away and pretends not to hear his mother's soft voice. He remembered Jin Hee's item that was still lying on the room table and decided to call Hyu Ri.

Hyu Ri walked over to two men who pretended not to see her. Realizing that figure Min Joon approached and introduced Jin Hee's co-worker, Han Jung Woo. Without saying much Min Joon picked up and checked the box that Hyu Ri was carrying.

"Thank you for delivering it for me!" he prepares to go to the room.

"Are you going to stay here? I met your mother and she was so sad, go home Min Joon!"

"I'll stay for a few days and if my savings run out, I'll go to your place!"

"Are you crazy? You think I'll take you home? I have no loyalty to someone like you. Do you think about it? How many times have you left home. Holy hooch! Even today you don't work, all day at home and in the afternoon you make a noise! Park Min Joon, you're not a teenager anymore! Does 30-year-old make you forget that you have a right and a duty to make your mother happy? But, look-"

"I understand! Go!" sela Min Joon stopped Hyu Ri's chatter. It actually saved Hyu Ri from a stingy breath that began to creep smoothly in Min Joon's eardrum.

Hyu Ri could only shake her head, it seemed like she would not be able to understand what Min Joon wanted and rushed to leave the lobby.

"Han Jung Woo, looks like you can go home! Thank you for taking your time when you're done working like this" Min Joon said, patting the shoulder of the 2-year-old man younger than him.

"And you, let Han Jung Woo drive you home!" haggling Min Joon to Hyu Ri.

"No need, I can take a taxi!" he bent 30 degrees. He seems to be upset with Min Joon.

Min Joon walks into the room with a 203 on the doorstep. Lying that not so muscular body again, trying to rest his heart and mind and prepare for tomorrow to focus more on finding Jin Hee.

I don't know what the meaning of the memo containing the strange message is? I don't know what really happened to Jin Hee. Min Joon continues to regret the attitude of just trusting his father's words. When he finds out that Jin Hee has disappeared, Min Joon should have searched for Jin Hee sooner. Although it's too late, Min Joon is confident of being able to find traces of Jin Hee from those items.

For how could Jin Hee who reportedly had run away with another man, just leave a trace as if she wanted to be found? If he really betrayed, why would there be such a strange message in that box?

How could Sun Woo disappear? If all that is true? Why didn't Jin Hee bring a phone that could be used to contact her and instead left the house key in the box?

Min Joon was really frustrated, his head was getting heavier. Min Joon got up to take a few glasses of wine and glared at the ceiling, instantly falling asleep in a deep sleep. Bring all the questions, which will make the morning even more confusing.
