Jealousy is Painful

Slowly Elvaro shifted the green button. But he did not want to speak first because he wanted to hear the voice across.

"Hallo.....!"

Elvaro's heart beat very fast when he heard that it was the voice of a man.

"Call, Ei....!"

"Eh, Sister Eilani's phone is left behind. He just left."

"Oh yes, yes...."

Elvaro wanted to ask again but the call had already ended. There's no way he'll call back because it's rude.

The door was knocked from the outside and opened by itself from the outside. Eilani is back.

"My HP missed." said Eilani.

"Oh.this. Someone called. Sorry for lifting it. From my honey."

Eilani's face immediately met with red. "He called you?" He took his phone from Elvaro's hand. "I go first, El." said Eilani.

Elvaro only nodded with a sense of tightness that now filled his chest cavity. He followed Eilani's steps. There was an urge within him to follow the girl.

Elvaro got in his other car. He sees Eilani being picked up by a gojek. Elvaro followed the bike from a safe distance.

Gojek stopped in front of a shopping mall. And Elvaro saw that there was a man waiting for Eilani. The guy immediately hugged Eilani tightly. It seems they haven't seen each other in a long time. Then, Eilani took the man's arm and the two stepped inside the shopping mall. Elvaro parked his car and went inside. Some time he searched where Eilani was and finally he saw the two of them in a cafe. It looks like it's eating.

Is this guy who is a friend of his birthday apartment? Why are they just the two? Why is there no one else? Do they have a relationship?

Those questions made Elvaro's chest tight. This feeling he had also felt when his marriage to Eilani entered the fourth month and Eilani was still cold to him.

At that time, Elvaro came home from work with a fever. He thought that Eilani was home too because he had been in the morning for a week. But apparently, Eilani has not come and made Elvaro a little annoyed because he felt he really needed his wife.

He then called Eilani but 3 times the call was made, Eilani did not receive his call. Elvaro became even more upset. He had sensed that his body heat was increasing so he tried to find the drug Paracetamol in the medicine cabinet. He found the medicine and immediately drank it.

Elvaro finally fell asleep. When he woke up, the clock was 7pm and Eilani was not there yet.

Elvaro again contacted Eilani and this time his call was answered. But it was not Eilani who answered him but a man and Elvaro was very sure that it was the voice of Peter's doctor.

"Hallo, where's my wife?"

"Suster Eilani just took a shower."

"Where is this?"

"It's in my apartment."

"What?" Elvaro went straight up.

"Let me know if he's done taking a shower."

Elvaro is upset that his call is terminated. He quickly grabbed his coat and his car keys. He then left immediately. Elvaro knows where Peter's doctor's apartment address is because his brother-in-law owns the unit there and is next to Peter's unit.

When he arrived there, it was raining heavily and Elvaro knew that he could not just enter because the apartment had a fairly tight security system. So after parking his car, Elvaro immediately contacted his wife's phone and this time Eilani who picked it up.

"Hallo.....!"

"I was brought. Down soon!" elvaro said then cut off the phone. Elvaro immediately parked his car in front of the lobby so that Eilani would not get wet if he went out.

It wasn't until 5 minutes, Eilani was out of there. Elvaro could see that his wife's hair was wet and he was wearing a Jeans and shirt that didn't belong to him. Elvaro's feelings are getting jealous.

Seeing her husband's car, Eilani immediately approached and opened the car door. The lights in the car that lit up when the door opened made Eilani able to see Elvaro's red face. "El, are you sick?" Spontaneously Eilani's hand measured to hold Elvaro's forehead but quickly Elvaro distanced his face.

"Close the door and let's get out of here!" elvaro's orders.

Eilani. "I don't want to go with you if you're driving in pain. What the hell are you? Why come after me here?"

"Why would I follow you here? I'm your husband. You haven't come home in your working hours until 2 p.m. And when I called, the one who picked up was a man and said that you were taking a bath in his apartment. Which husband would be quiet to hear all that? You're cheating on me with Peter's doctor?"

A loud slap landed on Elvaro's cheek. Eilani's eyes were even already glazed over.

"You think I'm a cheap girl?" eilani asked a little scream. The car door has not been closed.

"Then why are you in the apartment of the man who clearly still likes you? Why did I call you and you didn't pick it up at all? Whose clothes are you wearing?" Elvaro asked while shouting. He even hit the steering wheel to spill his frustration.

Eilani got out of the car. "I'll just go home in a taxi."

"Eilane....!" Elvaro came down and immediately restrained his wife's hand. Eilani could feel how hot Elvaro's hand was.

"Let's say!" Shouted Elvaro. He was blinded by his jealousy.

"El.....!" Eilani was shocked incredible. He would not have guessed that his push could make Elvaro fall. She approached her husband and helped him to his feet.

"Get in the car. Let me drive."

"Go! Just take a taxi like you want. Let me go home alone. If I'm any man, do you care?"

Eilani did not listen to Elvaro's annoyance. He continued to push the man into the car and Eilani immediately sat behind the wheel and ran the car.

Eilani's goal is the hospital where he works. He could feel Elvaro's extremely hot body temperature.

Once at the hospital the doctor immediately examined him. Elvaro's heat reached 40 degrees and it made Eilani shocked.

Elvaro left for work this morning without breakfast. He went home to shower and sleep last night.

"It looks like your husband has the virus and a stomach disorder" said doctor Leo who became a watch doctor.

Elvaro was taken to his treatment room and Eilani kept him there. Eilani sent a message to her father-in-law and told her that Elvaro was in the hospital. Both of his parents are in London.

Throughout the night Eilani was awake because Elvaro's body heat had not been reduced. Sometimes Elvaro delirious while mentioning the name Eilani.

At dawn, Elvaro opened his eyes. "Well.....!"

Eilani rushed to take the bottle of drink that he had prepared. There's a straw there to make it easier for Elvaro to drink.

"Drink."

Elvaro gulped down the water for half a bottle.

"Where am I?" ask Elvaro.

"There's a hospital."

"I want to go home. I don't like hospitals."

Eilani restrains Elvaro's body when the guy is about to wake up. "Your demons just redah. But it could go up again because the virus is still there. Your stomach is a little troubled anyway. You don't eat, do you?"

"You sure like me being sick, don't you? Just let me die. So you can be free with Peter's doctor" Elvaro said, sleeping on his back to Eilani.

"El, I went to Peter's doctor's apartment by accident. When I was going home, I suddenly got to call Dar Doctor Peter, asking that a nurse come to his apartment because his mother fell. Incidentally entered a patient who had just been in a car accident. There are 4 people. So I decided, let me just go to Peter's doctor's apartment because it's a short distance from the hospital. The sewing process took a while because the mother did not want to be sewing at first. My nurse's uniform was dirty from the splashes of blood caused by her rebellious mother. That's why I didn't pick up the phone from you because my bag was placed in the living room while we were in his mother's room. Peter's doctor called his sister to lend him her clothes because there was no way I could go home with a shirt that was already full of bloodstains."

"Then why did I call earlier had to he pick up my call?"

"Because my phone ran out of power so it's on a charger in his room."

Elvaro was silent for a moment. He then turned his body and looked at Eilani. "There are no other nurses? Why do you have to go?"

"And I told you, all the nurses are busy?"

"Laura?"

"Ask your friend Arby. They have a date today because Arby's birthday is why Laura came home an hour early."

Elvaro still seems upset. Eilani took her bag and took out her nurse uniform. "Look at my uniform, El. Dirty clothes. That's why I have to shower and change clothes."

"I'm sorry I accused you of being a no-no. I'm just jealous because I feel like you're not paying attention to me. I know that I hurt you for forcing you to have sex in a sneaky way. But can't I be forgiven? I want our relationship to be like a normal couple. I don't know what else to do so you can accept me as your husband." Elvaro's tears are flowing. He looks so desperate. Eilani immediately threw his gaze somewhere else.

"Rest, El. I'm already so sleepy." Eilani said then immediately laid his body on the sofa in the room.

The next morning, Elvaro's parents arrive. Tiara immediately scolded Eilani all-out because it was considered incompetent to take care of Eilani.

"What care are you if it turns out that your husband has a stomach disorder. Or maybe you don't take good care of El? Divorce if you can't take care of my son." Tiara immediately bribed.

"Mommy, don't blame my wife. I'm the one who can't take care of myself for being too tired to work." Elvaro doesn't want his mother to scold Eilani anymore.

"But mommy noticed that you're losing weight, El. I don't think you're happy to be married to Eilani." said Tiara as she glanced at Eilani cynically.

Elvaro can not deny that his weight is much reduced due to the problems of his marriage with Eilani.

"Mommy's feelings only. I'm just on a diet because I want to be healthy." Elvaro. He tried to deny all the allegations of his mother because he did not want Eilani to feel cornered.

After 3 days of treatment, Elvaro finally came home. Eilani took a day off because he wanted to accompany Elvaro to the apartment.

Upon arriving at the apartment, Eilani is shocked when Elvaro takes his clothes out of his closet.

"El, what are you doing?"

Elvaro looked at Eilani. "I'm moving into the guest room. Being around you without ever being considered to make me so tormented." Elvaro said and left the room immediately.
