Love In The Throne

Love In The Throne
Oma Ana's Desire

EVAN POV

After saying goodbye to Nanda, Evan drove his car away from Nanda who was still standing in front of his yard. Evan frowned thinking hard about Nanda, the woman who had managed to make him curious. I don't know what factors made him like this. Whether because of Nanda's closeness to Alvin or just Evan's curiosity about Nanda, I don't know. What is clear is that Nanda has now managed to stop in Evan's mind.

"Sheaven..." Evan chuckled as he involuntarily mentioned the name of a woman.

"Gue is curious about this chick. Is he stupid or is he stupid? He knows Alvin has a girlfriend, but why would he still want to live together? What's the matter? Is Alvin deliberately bullying this chick? Or is there a cooperation agreement? Heeemmmm.... Alvin's.. Loe besides being arogant, it turns out Loe is more of a jerk than me!!" evan grumbled in the car.

Arriving at home, Evan did not immediately wash himself. He dropped himself on his soft sofa and leaned his head for a moment to relax. Evan closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

Evan opened his eyes wide. It was a shock when he realized when his eyes were closed, Nanda's face at that moment also appeared in his mind. Her sweet face that was smiling spoiled flashed clearly in her eye peluk.

"Nandaa... Oh yes Tuhaan... What's the matter?" Evan nodded slowly at the base of his nose. His breathing was exhaled slowly to restore his suddenly messy mood.

***

Alvin's car was traveling at a speed towards Oma's house to meet the dinner invitation together. In the car as usual, the atmosphere was quiet. No conversation at all. Each one is busy with his own thoughts. Alvin focused on driving with a straight forward gaze. While Nanda prefers to direct his eyes to the side where he can see the street scenery.

The atmosphere of the night road was not too crowded, so there was no traffic jam that could make the travel time to the house of Oma Ana to be long.

Alvin's car has entered the courtyard of Oma Ana's spacious courtyard. Alvin and Nanda got out of the car and went straight into the house. At the door they were already greeted by Markus the head of the household assistan.

"Good night Young Master, good evening madam" Markus said politely. His body bowed a sign of respect to the granddaughter of the host. Alvin replied with a nod.

"How are you, Markus?" mark's mouth gaped in disbelief Alvin returned his greeting by asking about his news. This was a rare thing that Alvin had never done before.

"Sa-I'm good sir. The big madam is waiting for you inside. Please..." Alvin walked towards the dining room followed by Nanda behind him.

And it's true. Oma Ana, Hadinata and his wife are getting ready at the dinner table. Two domestic assistants were busy arranging food and drinks for their employers.

"Good night Oma, Papa, Mama.." said Nanda awkwardly. Oma Ana nodded while smiling happily at the presence of her granddaughter and daughter-in-law. Different things with Mama Alvin who just looked cynically at Nanda.

"You sit down." said Oma Ana. Alvin and Nanda occupy the seats that have been provided. Household assistance swiftly helps to get complete food along with side dishes and vegetables. Although Nanda had been a son-in-law for three months in the Oma Ana family, the awkwardness was still felt by Nanda. The attitude of his two parents-in-law who are still cold makes Nanda still difficult to be able to adapt well there. Nanda still felt like a stranger there. Only when with Oma Ana alone, Nanda felt warmth from her parents.

"How was your honeymoon?" asked Oma Ana suddenly in between her meals. Oma Ana's question made Nanda sculpt. Nanda deliberately chose silence, and let Alvin alone answer him.

"Lumayan" replied Alvin quickly. At the same time, Mama Desiana smiled cynically. His face clearly displayed a half-mocking face. And again Nanda was only able to stand still and bow her gaze to the plate.

"I heard you guys got home early. Why so fast?" ask Oma Ana again.

"I still have a lot of business" replied Alvin again. Oma Ana wiped her mouth with a tissue and stopped her eating. Others seem busy eating.

"Nanda.." call Oma Ana.

"Yes Oma"

"Tonight you and Alvin are going to stay here? There's something I want to talk to you guys about"

Nanda could not answer Oma Ana's question. Nanda looked towards Alvin giving him the code to answer his Oma question. But it seems that Alvin accidentally did not respond to the code that Nanda sent for him.

"Emmm... Sa-me... I'm stung.."

"Okay Oma, we'll stay here" Alvin abruptly answered Oma Ana's question. Nanda looked at Alvin nanar and could only sigh softly in response to Alvin's spontaneous attitude.

Oma Ana smiled happily at the answers from her two grandchildren.

After the dinner, Hadinata asks Alvin to enter her study. While Nanda chose to accompany Oma Ana talking in the living room while helping Oma Ana arrange flowers.

Desiana, mama Alvin with her arrogant attitude firmly goodbye to the room to finish the office work that is still not finished. Oma Ana only smiled wryly when she saw her daughter-in-law chose to go and be cool with her world rather than join in joking with her daughter-in-law. Oma Ana also deeply regrets Desiana's attitude where her daughter-in-law did not greet Nanda who has now become part of her life.

"Waahh, Oma is very good at arranging flowers huh? These flowers look so beautiful Omaa... Hhmmmmm.... Fragrant again." said Nanda praised the skill of Oma Ana's old hand which is already very good at arranging flowers.

"Even though Alvin looked haughty and cold, he was actually my very warm and loving grandson. If he likes something, he will take care of it wholeheartedly. I remember when I gave him a dog. Alvin kept the dog until he was big. Invite him to play, feed him and bathe him. Until one day the dog died. Alvin was so sad that he didn't want to eat. I offered another dog breed in place of his dead dog. But she refused and no longer wanted to keep the dog" Oma Ana sighed for a moment to catch her breath. Nanda was silent and occasionally smiled in response to the story of Oma Ana who began to peel the past of her favorite grandson.

"The same goes for Celine, Alvin's girlfriend. I think you should know who he is, too. They have been in a relationship for quite a while. Actually I also know that what Alvin likes is not Celine. But for some reason, Celina is Alvin's girlfriend. I'm not a stupid parent who just believes. I smell the bad scent of their relationship. That's why I didn't approve of Alvin marrying Celine and instead marrying my granddaughter to you Nanda. Although you are not from a rich family, your heart is very rich. Since I first met you, I've known what your personality is. That's the reason that makes me steadfastly give up my granddaughter to you" Nanda who originally focused on paying attention and listening to Oma Ana's story about Alvin was instantly misbehaved when Oma Ana praised herself blatantly. Nanda gave a small laugh and immediately refuted the praise he had just received.

"Ah, Oma can. I'm not as perfect as Oma thought. I still have a lot to learn to know and understand Mas Alvin" Nanda said.

"I'm quite happy with Alvin's change of attitude. Since marrying you, Alvin's rude attitude has diminished a lot" Oma Ana just smiled knots and so did Nanda. The wrinkles on his face became more and more attractive when he smiled. But the face of Oma Ana when smiling feels much more shady and cool than if Oma Ana is silent.

Alvin walked through the living room where there already saw Oma Ana and Nanda who were laughing crisply while arranging flower arrangements.

"Alvii.... Come here." Oma Ana said. Alvin, who was about to go up to the second floor, obeyed Oma's orders and sat down on the sofa near them.

"It just so happens that you're here. I want to talk"

Nanda and Alvin sat quietly. Their eyes focused on looking at Oma Ana's face.

"alvin, Nanda... You can see how I am right now. I am no longer a young woman who is still strong and able to wait for a long time. My body is old. And I don't know how much longer I'm alive. I really hope that before I am called God, I can see your child born in this world" Nanda was shocked to hear Oma Ana's words. He wanted to run away and hide far away.

"Oma what the hell is that talking? Nanda and I are still at the introductory stage. So in the near future I have not been able to give you a great-grandson" replied Alvin trying to give understanding.

"I know you guys haven't done as well as a husband and wife relationship. That's your right. But you have to remember, you are husband and wife. Each has rights and obligations that must be fulfilled. Stop playing around being a stranger. Doesn't it feel weird living on the same roof but acting like a stranger?"

"Sorry Oma, I'm sleepy. I want to go to the room." unruffled and stale, Alvin got up from his seat and just walked up the stairs to the second floor to his private room. Nanda felt very awkward to be in a position like this. There were no words or sentences that she could speak as a defense of herself or as a representative of her husband. Only a glare could Nanda do.

"I'm sorry Oma, maybe your wish is forever I can't give. Because after these two years, Alvin and I will get divorced" Nanda said in her heart.

"I'm sorry, Oma" finally, it's just an apology that Nanda can say. Oma Ana smiled as she nodded.

"Go away... Sana follow your husband"

"I'm just here, Oma. I still want to accompany Oma. Our flower arrangement is not finished yet"

"Not to continue. You just rest. I'm tired too." Oma Ana got up from her seat and moved slowly towards the room.

"Nanda help ya Oma" Nanda helps by keeping Oma Ana's steps toward the room. After making sure Oma rested, Nanda came out of Oma Ana's room.

Now Nanda was overwhelmed with excitement. What should he do tonight. It's very uncomfortable that he has to go into Alvin's room. But he would also be ashamed of himself if he chose to sleep on the sofa of the Oma Ana family room is very spacious.

With doubt and hesitation, Nanda finally ventured to enter Alvin's private room. The room she used to live in with her husband.

Nanda knocked on Alvin's room door slowly. But there is no answer from within. Try opening the door. It turns out it's not locked. Nanda entered slowly.

Nanda's eyes were stunned when he found Alvin sitting still in his full shirt with his hands clutching a glass of his favorite red wine. Nanda let out a short sigh trying to calm herself down against Alvin.

Nanda walked slowly towards the silent Alvin. Although it feels very sad, but Nanda still had to dare to talk to Alvin.

"Mas Alvin's..." Alvin did not answer. Just the look in his eyes stared intently at Nanda.

"I can borrow your shirt again... I-I don't have any clothes here" hearing Nanda's awkward plea made Alvin smile reproachfully.

"Whatever" Nanda let out a long sigh holding back the almost invigorating emotion. Alvin's unreserved answer does make ear itching.

Nanda didn't take a dizzy Alvin's cold attitude. The opening of Alvin's large closet and the selection of one Alvin shirt that size is rather long. Then Nanda rushed to change clothes and wash her face in the bathroom.
