Love In The Throne
Differ

Nanda's phone alarm went off, leaving Nanda's eyes open. With eyes that still felt heavy, Nanda forced her eyes to look at the number of clocks listed on her phone.

"Hour 5" said Nanda Lirih.

The blinding screen of the phone makes Nanda's eyes have to be more narrowed to balance the power of vision. With a little teased, Nanda forced her body to wake up from her delicious sleep.

Nanda was quite surprised when he saw the figure of Alvin standing in front of the mirror was neat with his work clothes. Very different from her who still looks shabby, pillow face and disheveled hair. For a few seconds Nanda stood still staring at Alvin who was busy tidying up his tie.

"For Alvin." said Nanda slowly.

"Hmmm.." replied Alvin without a word.

Nanda just sighed softly and rushed to the bathroom to clean up.

"Bring him not for long. I'm waiting for you at the dinner table" Alvin said, forcing Nanda to turn her gaze toward Alvin, who spoke without looking at him.

"Ok" is the only answer Nanda can make.

Only about fifteen minutes Nanda spent bathing. After bathing Nanda immediately tidied up her appearance with a little bit of powder and lipgloss dibirnya. There is no complete makeup on Nanda's plain face. Besides being unusual, Nanda is also not a smart girl to dress up. So that the appearance of Nanda looks very simple and natural.

Nanda stepped down the stairs slowly and walked towards the dining table. There just saw Alvin who was enjoying his coffee while paying attention to his gadget. Two housekeepers were busy preparing some dishes for breakfast. With doubtful steps Nanda walked closer to the side of the chair where Alvin was sitting.

"Mas Alvin's... Can I sit here?" nanda said carefully.

"Hmm.." again only a wordless answer was thrown at Alvin's lips. Nanda sat himself in a very awkward motion and looked stiff. Nanda's heartbeat began to beat irregularly. The beat was not because he was nervous sitting next to Alvin, but a feeling of shame and awkward when having to sit down to eat together at a table with Alvin's parents who looked cold and disliked him.

And sure enough, before long Alvin's parents appeared and joined him sitting at the same dining table with him. Nanda stood up saluted and greeted Alvin's parents, who were now in-laws, though perhaps only temporarily.

"Good morning..." Nanda greeted by displaying the sweetest smile on her lips. Nanda's sweet smile must be pulled back when there is no response from her in-laws. They just kept quiet and put on a cold face as usual. Nanda sat himself down and went back to silence.

Oma Ana with her big stick and assisted by her personal assistant has joined also in the middle of the dining table. The waiters started pouring water into the glass and helped get food.

"Mrs Nanda, which food do you want me to get?" Nanda was flabbergasted when an ART man offered to help her get some food.

"A-anything is okay" Nanda's nervous voice was clear and managed to make her mother-in-law smile cynically at her attitude that impressed the village.

"Will you try sea food fried rice? This is fried rice from the cuisine of the senior chef in this house. It tastes so delicious"

"Yes can. Thank you, yeah..."

"Same mistress" said ART, placing a plate on Nanda's desk and bowing politely before leaving.

This morning, the small family of Oma Ana enjoyed a quiet breakfast. There are no words coming out of each person. The atmosphere of eating stiff and cold like that is very different from the atmosphere in Nanda's house. Breakfast, lunch or dinner that can be done together must be very fun. Each person tells each other about the events that have been experienced that day and interspersed with jokes that make the atmosphere of the house feel warmer and closer. Nanda tried to enjoy the food on her plate slowly. Nanda did not want the way he ate to cause a commotion if he sped up his eating.

Senior chef Oma Ana's cuisine is truly worthy of four thumbs at a time. The right seasoning and fragrant aroma and the right level of maturity really spoil his tongue. Nanda often eats plain fried rice or seafood, but the seafood fried rice this time is really very different. Either what secret spices have been added by the chef so as to create a unique and delicious taste that is very alluring.

"Y-yeah Oma..."

"What are your plans today?" Nanda took a slow breath arranging his heartbeat that was beating here and there to make him slower and calm down.

"Emm, i...I'm going to work. My leave is over, Oma. So I had to go to work as usual" Nanda's voice sounded brick and clumsy.

"Where do you work, Nanda?" a simple question from her mother-in-law managed to make Nanda more nervous.

"Sa-I work at a fast food restaurant"

"For what?" mama Alvin's intonation of questions sounded dismissive and cornered Nanda. Alvin himself chose to stay busy with his food.

"As a cashier and waiters"

Hearing Nanda's reply that sounded piercing in the ear, Desiana's mother arrogantly put down her cutlery that made a little loud noise and made everyone join in stopping her eating activities because of her arrogant attitude.

Desiana raised her head with a haughty look full of elegance with a disappointed expression mixed with annoyance because she had to know the ridiculous reality that was ridiculous.

"What's this ridiculous joke? The wife of the General Manager of a well-known company only works as a cashier and waiters fast-food restaurant? Heh, it's really very laughable" Desiana sneered softly at her head that suddenly felt dizzy. Nanda simply bowed silently in his seat. His appetite disappeared instantly. The atmosphere of this morning's meal had turned into a tense atmosphere that stifled the chest.

"I'm done eating. Everyone, I let you know first" after wiping his mouth with tissue, Alvin rushed up from his seat to immediately leave the dining table that felt sick to him.

"Wait !!!" Alvin stopped his steps when Oma Ana's voice mengultimatum himself to stop.

"Alvin, take your wife to work. And don't forget to pick him up when you get home" not Alvin if you don't argue.

"Oma, today my meeting schedule is quite tight. I don't have time to pick Nanda up. Let me send the office driver to pick him up"

"Alvionn... You said it yourself, right? If you will be responsible for your wife !! Keep your word !!" alvin's hand clenched furiously unable to refute Oma Ana's words. Because what Omanya said is true. He once said he would be responsible for his wife, Nanda.

"No need Oma, I can go and go home by myself. I don't want to take care of Mas Alvin." Nanda's plea doesn't necessarily make Alvin happy or proud to have an understanding wife. Precisely the attitude of defense that Nanda did made her look weak and despicable in front of Oma and her parents. Alvin stared intently with furious eyes at Nanda. Her cynical smile was flimsy at the corner of her lips.

"If you don't want to be ushered in by your husband, you'd better stay home" Nanda gaped at the threat from a powerful old woman. Nanda shook her head in support of her apology.

"Ma-sorry Oma. I didn't mean it that way"

"Hurry and get your bag. I won't wait!!" snapper Alvin. Without a second thought, Nanda immediately stood up from his seat and bowed as a sign of respect for oma and her two in-laws and quickly ran up the stairs one by one to the room to pick up his briefcase.
