16. Not the heart

Mama who just got the news from Arika immediately conveyed it to Ariana. Ariana who heard Farid's refusal pretended to cry sobbed. Her mother who could not bear the end to go to Arika's house, she was about to beg Farid directly.

They sat three, no one dared to start a conversation. Bik sumi serves drinks and snacks.

At the end of the day, Mom opened her voice. " Don't you Farid, Mama, beg you?" Her mother-in-law pleaded while crying. Arika rubs her Mama's shoulder gently. In her heart, she did not want her husband to marry her sister.

"Ma, Arika is pregnant with my child. I don't want to marry her." Farid refused.

"Please, this is only temporary. Doctors say Ariana is 6 months away. After Ariana dies you can go back to Arika." Hiks.

"Mas, for your brother's sake would you?" Arika who did not have the heart to see her mother coaxed her husband.

"Darling, have you gone mad you got your husband married again." Farid looked at his wife.

" Sister who knew you first, he loved you very much."

"Well if that's what you want, I'll marry her but in series." Farid immediately got up from his seat leaving behind his wife and in-laws.

"Thank you dear, her late mama can realize your sister's wish. Mama believes you are strong dear" said mama while stroking the back of Arika's hand.

Arika just nodded, honestly in her heart she was not willing, but she did not have the heart to see the illness of the sister.

After her mother came home Arika followed her husband to the room. Farid realized his wife was walking towards him, he turned his face away not wanting to see her. Arika knows her husband is angry at her. Because of her brother's request that she approve.

"Mas, right,?" Arika clasped her husband's hand. Farid brushed off his wife's hand, on his layered body. Arika also laid her body behind her husband.

In the morning Farid woke up first, Arika was still asleep. Farid went to the office without telling his wife.

"No Non. Said his breakfast at the office." Answer Bik sumi.

"Sir, am I wrong to ask my husband to marry again?."

"Non, Bibik knows it must be sad to have you remarry,"

"I did it for brother Bik. His life will not be long." Arika crying.

"And now Mas Farid silenced me Bik."

"Non's patient, maybe you still don't understand Non."

"Sir, please keep this a secret from Mama. Arika doesn't want Mama to know about this. It's just a temporary Bik." Pinta Arika on Bik sumi. Bik sumi just nodded his head.

"Kasian Si non, just got happy to get another test," Bik sumi .

Arika spends all day at home. He doesn't feel sick anymore.

Today she's cooking cake for her husband. Bik sumi happily taught her to make cakes.

Did not feel the afternoon, finished bathing Arika wearing the clothes Farid bought for her. She put lipstick on her tiny lips. She wants to welcome her husband home.

But until 10pm Farid didn't come home. Arika began to worry about waiting for her husband.
