15. Farid's Rejection

After finishing breakfast outside, Farid drove his car to the office with Arika. He took his wife to the office.

Once in the room Farid began to check the report. Arika sits on the sofa while playing her cell phone. Every now and then Arika glanced towards her husband looking at her work.

"Honey, if you're sleepy you can sleep in that room," Farid pointed to a door in his room.

"It's still morning Mas, it's not good to sleep in the morning." Arika looked at her husband. "Mas, is there something I want to say?" Arika ventured to convey to her brother's wishes.

Farid walked towards his wife. Sitting beside his wife in his hand held his wife's. "What did you say? does that matter?" ask Farid.

At the end of her Arika conveyed what she wanted by Ariana.

"Is he crazy?" Farid stood up he somewhat raised his voice.

"His life will not be long, Mas," Arika could not stem her tears. It's very heavy for her but on the other hand she doesn't have the heart to see her sister.

"That's a ridiculous reason, you'll know he left me, and now he's asking me to marry him." Farid emotion.

"Mas, please for the sake of brother's happiness. She's not very long." Arika sobbing.

Farid rubbed his face rough, honest in his heart he pityed hearing the state of Ariana.

"Then what about your feelings?"

"God willing I am strong Mas," Arika replied lightly in contrast to the condition of her sick heart.

"I don't want to talk about that anymore." Farid walked towards his desk to finish his work. His mind became unsettled.

"Mama?" Ariana called her mom

"Dear what's wrong? you want something?"

"Not yet." My mother answered briefly.

"Ma, maybe Rika didn't talk to Farid?" guess Ariana.

"Please be patient, it's not easy to talk about such a thing."

"What a hard thing, ma, he didn't love Farid ma." Ariana was angry.

"You should not be angry, you will drop the song." Persuade her mama.

"If until later tonight there is no news Mama should talk directly to Mas Farid. Riana just wants Mas Farid ma?" whining Ariana to her mother.

This is really hard for my mom.

In the office, Arika falls asleep on the sofa, Farid moves her wife's body to the room in her room. He lay down next to her and fell asleep hugging her waist.

At 2 pm, Farid blinked his eyes, at the sight of his wife still sleeping.

"Darling? wake up" Farid wakes his wife. Arika opened her eyes.

They perform dzuhur prayers in the office. They had lunch at the office because Farid's work was piling up.

The voice of Arika's cell phone rang, in her open her cell phone turned Wa from her mama her mama.

"Who the hell?" ask Farid. Because after reading the message Arika became moody.

"Em, Mama's asking about Mas's answer?" Arika looked down not daring to look at her husband.

" You said to Mama, I don't agree with Ariana's marriage." Farid said firmly.
