Chapter 61

Brian reaches the room where Aara is being treated, but he does not find Aara there. Brian swept a glance across the room, but it was impossible if Aara was in the bathroom or walking alone while the condition already did not allow for much movement.

Brian came out of that room, he looked like a dazed person. Very quickly Aara's room was quiet and neat. Brian noticed a nurse passing by quickly he approached the nurse and tried to ask Aara where she was.

"Sus, where are the patients being treated here? Have you moved to another room or brought the family?"

"Oh The patient here has been moved sir, but I don't know which room to move. You can ask the Doctor who was handling the patient Sir!"

"Okay, thanks Sus!"

Brian chose to immediately go to his Papa's study to inquire about Aara's current whereabouts and ask her about Aara's condition. But until there Brian found no one. He rubbed his face rough then stepped out of the room with slow steps.

"Taken where Aara....." Brian sat in the waiting chair not far from the Papah's office. He pulled his hair and lowered his head. Honestly Brian's energy seemed drained, maybe because of lack of rest, plus a lot of thoughts because of problems that have not been resolved for months.

It feels almost giving up but the responsibility is needed. He also had to explain if he had dropped the talaq on Aara and whether they were willing to accept or even blame. Brian was going to do that.

"Brian."

Brian raised his head when he heard his name called by the Papah. He suddenly stood in front of Brian and sat down next to him.

"Father...."

"You looking for Aara?"

"Yeah, where's Aara? The room is empty" Brian said.

The Papah breathed a heavy sigh, he turned to his son who looked disheveled and tired. You know, this problem is not easy for Brian. He patted the son's shoulder to calm him down and give him support.

"Aara's in the ICU, she's in a coma and we're a team of doctors can't do much."

Brian bowed his head again thinking about Aara's fate which was very sad. Aara's fate is like hanging and does not know how next. Moreover, all the Doctors had raised their hands, just waiting for a miracle to come or fate wanted to say something else.

"Before Aara's condition worsened, Aara apologized to Lily and admitted all her mistakes. Maybe that's why Aara wanted to meet Lily, then Aara asked Brian to drop the talaq on her. At that time Brian confused Pah, Lily forbade but Aara kept pressing until Brian saw Aara's condition getting worse. To the point where the word talaq came out of Brian's mouth and Aara had convulsions until she lost consciousness."

Brian let out a long sigh, it felt like Brian's chest was so tight when telling that and again remembered the incident earlier.

Bayu also listened with a wet tail of eyes, he lamented his son's marriage which ended tragically. Although they do not love each other, their way of life is not easy to go through.

"Am I wrong, huh? Is Aara's condition worsening because of me?" Brian's eyes glazed over at the Papah.

Bayu quickly hugged his son, knowing Brian was in need of a backrest. And now Bayu lets Brian spill his grief and burden by crying in his arms.

"Cry! Men cry does not mean he is weak, but it's his way of shedding emotions so that after this his mind is clearer to solve the problems that exist and can think more openly."

Brian sobbed in the arms of the Papah without remembering the shame until some people who passed by turned to the two.

Brian took off his arms, remembering Lily who kept apologizing and blaming herself. Brian was afraid that Lily could not make peace with the circumstances that later all those thoughts would actually make the condition not improve and it would affect the content.

"Bah, I'll see Aara first, because I can't leave Lily for long. Pity he no one accompanied Pah," said Brian who then moved from his seat.

"The Father will ask your mother to come here to accompany Lily."

"Do you know Mama?"

"Papah told me everything with Mamah. At first Mamah was very surprised, crying and not expecting your relationship. But after that your mama's so happy that soon she'll have a grandchild. From a distance Brian could see Mommy fresh out of the room, while Daddy was waiting outside. Brian ran and hurriedly approached, the closer he saw his two in-laws just silently resigned and hugged each other. Crying was certain, but it seemed like both of them were sincere about whatever happened.

"Dad, Mum...."

"Brian." The two looked towards Brian who had just arrived.

Brian set his breath after running a long distance. He stood before his two in-laws, bowing his head. And it made Daddy and Mommy stunned to see it.

Daddy quickly prevents but Brian seems reluctant to wake up.

"Brian what are you doing son?" ask Mommy who is confused to see Brian's attitude.

"I'm sorry Daddy, I'm sorry Mommy......I divorced Aara before she fell into a coma."

Andini and Raihan face each other, both of whom seem surprised to hear Brian's confession.

"Brian does that at Aara's request, Aara who forces Brian after meeting and apologizes to Lily. I'm sorry Dad Mom......"
