A rough knock on the door made Dara wake up, open her eyes and return to feel the pain in the core of her body that felt painless, unbearable pain, torn apart. Not to mention his achy, formless broken body.
Brought him back to the damned last night. Instantly her tears re-expanded in the eyes and melted on the cheeks. What is his sin, what has he done to the man to experience this?
Scared and held her breath Dara glanced to the side. Finding the place empty, he could breathe a sigh of relief. The monster under the guise of her husband was no longer there.
A loud bang was again heard at the door, jerking, startling him. Why do the people in the house seem to have no manners?
"Mrs, aren't you awake yet?"
It was mister Feng's voice, immediately Dara tried to sit herself down. "Auu..," his his hiss was restrained. The pain came again greeting, but having no other choice, he forced himself to get up.
The net was glued to the bloodstains splattered on the sheets. His eyes warmed up again, all his strength grasping the cloth he made his body cover.
His heart was further broken faced by that reality, he violently wiped away the trace of his tears, walking towards the door.
"Mrs..." Again there was mister Feng's voice shrill from outside.
"In a moment," he answered making sure his shoulder was covered with a towel picked up from the floor.
Obviously mister Feng lowered his head, when he saw Dara's state. He realized that when he first came to this house the girl did not bring his clothes, to wear Rain's clothes, he guessed Dara would not be able to dare.
"Sorry Madam, mister Rain's message, you must immediately clean this room, lest it leave any stains and unpleasant odors," mister Feng replied flatly.
Dara guessed from the attitude of mister Feng, the man also hated Dara. I don't know what Rain said to him, but it was clear that the man didn't like him, as well as some of the other employees that he remembered when he entered the house yesterday, they also stared cynically at him.
"But, mister Feng, I have no clothes. Who do I wear?" ask Dara lirih. He was as valuable, treated like trash by Rain.
Although he did not like Dara, but the 60-year-old man knew he felt a little pity to see her. His young master had already explained about the plan to get married and what the reason was.
The reason was only for revenge, that was obvious. Dara sat on the edge of the bed, unwilling to observe the former actions of the man to her. Not long after, mister Feng came carrying a stel of clothes, Dara guessed it was borrowed from the servant who was in the house.
As soon as the bathroom door, her gaze was fixed on her former clothes that Rain had cut last night. Hate being picked up and put in the trash. Dara cursed this marriage!
Dara rushed to clean her body, bathe and rub every inch of her skin with a sponge hoping that the former touch of the man's hand on her body could disappear, her tears fell back, she said, the pain she felt while rubbing her body was nothing compared to her heartache over what Rain had done that night.
Water droplets from her hair drenched her bare shoulders, her face glared at the mirror, choking wounds on the neck as well as scratches on her arms and shoulders making Dara cry again. The wound was getting sicker because it was so strong he rubbed during the bath earlier.
Although still with the body sore at the core of his body sore, Dara completed her task, cleaned the room and when she wanted to change the sheets, Dara's tears fell back down.
She was not sincere, not at all accepting of what Rain had done to her, even though the man was her husband and also her duty to serve her husband but Rain's actions to her were more like an animal that night.
Only this time he could see the whole house. So elegant, neat and neatly arranged, but just by looking at it once, Dara could judge there was no happiness in this house, only sadness, suffering and darkness.
Who exactly is Rain? Is he the only one who lives in this house? Where are all his family members? Dara remembers, when Rain only came with Tiger, his assistant and loyal men.
Where there may be a human who was born alone in this world, especially he from a distinguished family. Is it possible because he lives a single day making his attitude and mental very bad?
"Why are you just standing there?" reprimanding a woman dressed in black and white, just like the one Mister Feng was wearing, seemed to be indeed the uniform of the maid in the house.
Rain must be a perfectionist man, not accepting to be irregular in that house. They also had servants, but her mother did not require that their servants wear uniforms.
"Oh, I want to put down this dirty cloth," Dara replied briefly. She did not need to be suave, the woman's gaze clearly showed that she did hate Dara, and again she did not know the reason.
"Walk up to the hallway until you find the door leading to the east wing, there's a laundry room there" he replied. Dara glanced at her name tag, which read Entin.
Dara nodded then followed the instructions of the fat-bodied woman. Dara bent her legs, sitting staring at the spinning cloth in the washing machine that had been put in. He wanted to choose to wait, while contemplating, but it was the sound of his stomach that made him rise. He had to eat to survive at home, not in this prison!
"Breakfast first, ma'am," said one of the three waiters in the kitchen. His age was not much different from Dara, nor was their posture.
"Thank you" Dara replied smiling.
"What are your comfortable clothes you wear, Madam?" the waiter asked doubtfully.
"Oh, is this your outfit? Thanks for lending it. Call me Dara, no need to call me Madam. You and I are the same, the waiter in this house, the difference is you work get a wage, and I work get his last name. What's yourname?"
"Lilis, New.. Ra," she replied smiling in embarrassment after Dara rounded her eyes not accepting being called Madam again.
There was at least a normal human who considered him a human in that house, who was able to keep him sane and undo his intention this afternoon to jump from the balcony again.
"How long have you been working here, Lis?" dara asked after only staying the two of them were there.
"Five years, and honestly I'm glad you came here" he said shyly. She liked Dara since this morning greeting her. She was sure Dara was a good girl, not what the other servants were talking about.
"What... What's... Rain always behaves badly?"
Instantly Lilis fell silent, not saying anything because the person they were talking about appeared on the doorstep.
"You better just ask me!"
