Getting Married to My Enemy: Wounds in Marriage

Getting Married to My Enemy: Wounds in Marriage
Punishment

The night wind blew, and it rained. The sky seemed to mourn what happened and what Dara experienced.

At first he thought it was jokingly asking him to sleep outside, but seeing Dara frozen in her place Rain moved from her seat violently, flipping the curtain that covered the balcony door, then opened wide until the cold night wind greeted their faces.

Without saying anything, Rain's gaze had already explained that he was serious about what he said. Dara stepped over the boundary of the room and is now on the balcony.

Once he was outside, Rain heartlessly closed the balcony door as well as closed the curtains.

Dara sat curled up in a chair that was now so cold it touched her skin. The man was so cruel, no matter what his fault was that he deserved to be punished like this.

Dara could not bear to not spill her tears that she had been weeping since. He cried, lamenting his fate. She should have had fun on the night of her bride had her marriage to Kenzo gone according to plan, now she was on the balcony of someone's room so cruel, and worse as her husband, still wearing her wedding dress.

Being carried away hurriedly made him not have time to change clothes. The twins felt tight and hurt his body, however, he wore it all day.

Dara knew she would not be able to sleep tonight on the balcony, she was cold and her body was now completely frozen like her heart.

Until now he had not been able to find a reasonable reason why the man chose to marry her and then punish her like this!

"She's seen you, met you several times and fell in love with you, which is why she chose you to be her wife. He wants an heir from you. You'll be happy, trust me, papa" said his father when he convinced himself to accept the crazy matchmaking.

Dara had refused repeatedly even prostrate at the feet of her father and mother to release her from the punishment, clearly her parents knew that she had a lover, even they were about to get married, but both of his parents could do nothing. His father was helpless, the man promised a sum of money to help his father so that Dito Matteo did not dwell at all.

"Not all arranged marriages are bad, Mama's sure you'll love her. Gradually your feelings will grow on her," said Megi who helped her husband convince Dara.

The girl wanted to laugh amidst the tears that flooded her face. If both parents see the current situation, the marriage that they consider as a marriage that can make him happy, a marriage that will bring happiness for him also for the Matteo family, it turns out to be a disaster!

This is the second time Dara has saved her family. Just a few months ago he was forced to replace his sister, Alma, who begged him to confess as her, while giving a statement at the police station, about a man who committed suicide.

The man was Alma's lover who was suddenly rumored to have committed suicide in his apartment.

"Help me, Ra. Shouldn't a brother help his sister? I didn't do anything to cause the man to commit suicide. I'm just saying that I can't be in a relationship with him anymore. I beg you, you're the only one who's seen the police, fulfilled this call and testified. I beg you to help me, Ra," said Alma who came to Dara who was studying in her room with her mother.

Alma's face was frightened, she did not expect that Timo would kill himself after their intense quarrel.

"You have to help your sister, Ra. Poor him. You're more mature, can you answer the questions the authorities ask, if Alma? He'll be nervous. Do not let this case embarrass our family," said Megi defending Alma, his beloved daughter.

"But how can I claim to be you? Of course people will know that it was not me who was in a relationship with her" replied Dara who was also pale.

"They won't know who Timo's been in a relationship with, because we're actually going out secretly, he knows I'm still dating Dirga, he wants to be my mistress, he's my girlfriend, and when I asked to end our relationship, I didn't accept it" Alma said.

As a sister Dara was obliged to help her sister. He could not bear to see Alma crying with fear.

Finally Dara agrees, goes to the police station, explains that she is Timo's lover, explaining as Alma explained to him.

With no evidence against Dara, the girl is released.

The night wind was getting stronger, Dara tightened her body to be warmer even a little.

"What's my fault?" she whispered, ever since childhood, she always sacrificed. Alma always takes precedence, every time there is a problem that he caused, Dara must install the body for the good name of the girl. "Did I not deserve to be happy in this life?"

Tired of crying over her fate, Dara fell asleep. It was still a while his eyes picked up the dream, the chair he was sitting on was kicked violently to the point of touching him.

Rain had been watching Dara. She thought the girl would be frightened, crying hysterically for help, begging to let her in, but in fact after four hours locked up outside, Dara made no sound.

Rain decided to look at Dara's situation. He did not care if the girl decided to jump from the balcony of his room but at least he had to make sure that the girl was really dead.

Finding Dara who turns out to be asleep in the chair makes her anger peak. The girl's face brought her back to recall her dead sister being caused by her.

Full of annoyance and anger, she kicked the chair, making Dara wake up and scream in shock. Dara saw it was still very dark out there, so what would the man wake her up?

Rain stared at her. In his mind kept thinking what more punishment he could do to torture Dara. He was responsible for his sister's death.

Shown by the face of Dara who laughed when he heard the news that Timo was dead, which must have made his goal achieved.

His revenge made the mind hallucinate, Dara laughed mockingly in front of her sister's corpse. Excited to be able to eliminate Timo.

The thought further burned Rain's soul, awakening the soul of the monster that had been lodging itself. The bitterness that ensued in life due to the betrayal of women, made him never appreciate any women, consider them only toys and worth to torture.

The punishment he gives to every woman he dates, makes him satisfied, because it can channel his anger, they assume that the women are a substitute for his mother who has hurt his father.

There was no time to restore Dara's consciousness that had just woken up from her sleep, Rain had already dragged her wrist to enter the room.

Dara wondered where the man would take her again, and what other punishment she would receive.
