Dara would never have guessed what would have thought that upon awakening, harsh reality would greet her. Throughout the night she fell asleep, assuming that Rain was still loyal to her side, lying next to her until morning.
However, everything was not as he had expected, waking up with solitude on the bed.
Dara frowned as she stared at the clockwork at six in the morning. "Where Rain is, it's too early to leave for the office" his inner self, who didn't hear the sound of water gurgling, meant that no one was there.
Suddenly his feelings were not good, as if a bad feeling was teasing him. Dara rushed to pick up her nightshirt, then rushed down from the ground floor looking for Rain.
The man was not around, there were only a few servants who nodded respectfully at him upon seeing him daze full of confusion.
"Mister Feng, where's Rain? There's no way she's been going to the office this early, is she?" tanya Dara stopped the steps of the man who passed her.
"Master... Mr. Rain is gone, madam. He was in a hurry, there was important business to be done," he said, but strangely why Dara's feelings were getting unsettled. In one corner in his heart said that the current Mister Feng was not telling the truth.
"Go? Any important business? No crap to me?" Dara squinted one eye, it was clear that Mister Feng's description was completely absurd.
"Yes, Madam. Maybe it's because you're fast asleep, so Master is reluctant to wake you up."
That was Mister Feng's explanation, as well as the explanation Dada hated the most for knowing it was all fake.
Evidently, from that day on, Rain did not come home! Material hundreds of times Dara dialed his number and also Tiger's number, still inactive. Don't think Dara stopped there, she even went to the office, but everyone she asked there said she never saw her boss and assistant again. Both are swallowed up by the earth.
Dara's day was blown to pieces. He tried to remember, was there something wrong that he did until Rain left quietly for her?
Dara waited for days, always praying that the door of the man's heart would be knocked, and would go home, back to him. But again Dara had to swallow the disappointment pill, Rain did not come home!
Until the day of changing months. Dara desperate as well as vengeful. After entering the third month after Rain's departure without news, then Dara realized that the man deliberately left and did not want to return. At that point, Dara decided to stop hoping, not even caring if Rain came back or not.
Only sometimes, the stubbornness that he showed in front of many people, whether at home or in the hospital, did not last when night fell. Before falling asleep, Dara cried with her solitude, caressing her stomach, hoping that her child would grow up to be a strong child even without a father.
"Everything's good, just waiting for the day, you're going to be a mother" said Jes, an obstetrician at the hospital where Dara works.
The woman smiled at the good news. Grateful for every examination, there was no indication his son was exposed to viral diseases or imperfect growth because it was created from incestuous relationships.
"Thanks, Jeez. I also hope to see my son soon," he said again smiling while stroking his stomach which had been very swollen, even the center had poked out.
However, as if her son was eager to play guessing, Dara baby never wanted to be on his back when his mother checked her pregnancy to the doctor, so the woman did not know what the sex of her child until now.
"You must be strong. Great single mom," said Jesika rubbed Dara's shoulder. She knew until now the woman's heart was still very sick and fragile for the departure of her husband who until now did not know the limp.
"Thank you, Jes. I'll go home first. Not good with Ken, has been waiting a long time," said Dara peeked at his best friend's cheeks.
"You take it easy, I'm strong and I can, and this time I'm not alone, Ken drove me to check, and you know, he's just like you, baffles," dara replied laughing crisply.
Hearing Kenzo's name, Jes immediately pulled Dara's hand, until the two stopped before reaching the entrance.
"So long ago he loved you, even you were lovers, why don't you go back with him?"
The question was not a joke, which tried to tease her, it was a serious question, and Dara lost her tongue as well as her courage to answer. He was no longer interested in connecting with a man.
"We're just friends, Jes. Not more."
"But I know he likes your name. Look at the sacrifice, the less he's like you. Forget all your past, you better be with him. Setali three money, this is for your good especially your baby," said Jes expressed his thoughts. The two walk back out and meet Ken who was sitting in the waiting room.
"Hi, handsome CEO," said Jes when they were in front of the man.
"Hi, Jes. Still on to your madness?" Jes' words will not be put to heart by Jes, because that is how they are friendly. Both of them are known because Kenzo had dated the man when Dara was still sitting in college.
"Thank you for looking after and dropping off Dara" he continued, receiving a 'tos' from Kenzo.
"I will always accompany him wherever and under any circumstances" Kenzo sambar confidently said.
"I'm sorry that Jesika likes to make fun of you, Ken," Dara said after they left the hospital parking lot.
"Don't think about it, I know the character of your best friend, Ra," Kenzo replied briefly, again focusing on the streets.
Dara himself seemed to be consumed with the words of Jesika, and also Kenzo's request that he had been asking me for months. Right, Kenzo proposed to her, got her married, after a week Rain left.
"Marry me, I'll take care of you both. There's no point in you waiting for him, he won't come back, that jerk doesn't deserve your loyalty" Kenzo said many times each expressing his feelings, until Dara memorized.
If so, Dara just smiled in response. However, this time a little different, Jes's speech seemed to affect him.
"You may feel like you can live alone, tough and don't need a man to be with you by your side, but not your son. No matter how strong you are, still the child wants both parents complete."
"Ra, we eat first yes, you have not eaten anything in the morning, just bread," said Kenzo who was very attentive to him.
"Yes, I'll be home eating. Ken, thank you so much, yes" said Dara suddenly, which made Kenzo shocked. It was natural, in fact, that the man had helped her so much, giving her sincere attention.
"One more thing, you better not return to your room upstairs. You just gave birth later already have to go up and down the stairs that much, so it's better to stay in a room on the first floor only," said Kenzo who had often been to Rain's house.
"Yes, I know. Don't worry about it, because after I give birth later, I'll move out of that house, leaving all hers!"
