Cursed Night

Cursed Night
CHAPTER (34): Dream Success

Tere sat restlessly in the front seat, staring at the grand stage of the luxurious and magnificent building used for Harvard University graduation.

"Hopefully I can graduate with a satisfactory GPA, God please help this servant of yours."

Tere took a breath and took it out slowly, trying to calm himself from the fear of not graduating after four years of hard struggle and tireless study, all for the sake of his big dream.

"Still afraid of not graduating, even though all lecturers know who you are Tere Queenera."

Tere turned his head to his side, staring at the annoyed man of Native American descent who was mocking him with that slanted smile. Tere hit the man on the shoulder, to vent the vexation and fear within him.

"Shut your mouth, not a normal day, not a graduation day. You can still be as calm as you can even take care of this, you're the son of rich Xerion, unlike me who got a scholarship."

"You know I'm tired of hearing you say that, you're too chatty."

It was very curious that Tere hit the head of the man beside him, who had been his best friend but his intentions had to stop, when the voice of the MC who started the event interrupted his speech.

Tere's heart beats fast every second, even during an art show, his heart still beats fast. Tere was terrified that he would not graduate from Harvard University, given his long struggle to achieve this day.

Imagining him failing alone is able to make tears flow on both his cheeks, all he has sacrificed for today, for his dreams, and for the dreams of his parents. His heart seemed to be pinched, remembering it was four years after his separation from Arya.

Arya is completely removed from her life, never to be seen by Tere's eyes again. But the name of an Arya Panggalila will not be separated from business magazines, considering his company is already worldwide and mengalang buana to all parts of the world.

Tere's daydreaming stopped when he heard the voice of the MC who was announcing the best graduates of every major, ranging from law, business, journalism, to medicine...

"If the MC doesn't mention your name, then I'll punch him in the face right away."

"Sit's Xerion, you're such a fuss."

"And now it's Harvard University's medical school, I'm amazed at the best graduate in medicine, other than because she's a woman, a scholarship, a scholarship, he also has a phobia of blood that considering the medical department will definitely be related to blood...

the MC was silent for a while, giving a tense aura to every medical student even though they were all aware of who it was.

"Don't say anything, please shut up."

Xerion was shocked when he saw the tears on Tere's cheeks, for four years being friendly with this strong woman beside him, never in the slightest did he see Tere cry or more clearly Tere always hid his tears from anyone.

"A great woman who dares to fight phobias for the survival of every child in the world in her mother's womb, she is Tere Queenera majoring in Medicine."

The sound of a standing ovation, the gazes fixed on Tere Queenera and the lights that highlighted clearly the 22-year-old woman. Tere was happy, he was moved but tears just kept running down his cheeks. He realized that these were not tears of happiness but tears of sadness.

"Tere you are the best! Fast forward, that stupid MC is waiting for you," Xerion said as he gently shook Tere's arm, resuscitating Tere from his daydream.

Tere gave a smile to Xerion before walking up to the stage, to receive credit for his hard work, sacrifice, and selfishness four years ago.

The direct rector of Harvard University who gave the charter and the award trophy to Tere, Tere's hand trembled when he had to receive the charter and the trophy. It never occurred to his brain that he would get the best graduate degree in medicine, because for him to graduate from Harvard, which is the best college in the World alone is more than enough.

"Congratulations On Your Achievements."

"Thank You Very Much, Sir," Tere said tearfully as he received his award, various camera lights captured the precious moment.

"You're Welcome."

Tere stood confidently, an intimidating and positive aura emanating within him as he held onto the trophy and the charter, letting the entire camera photograph his success after all the sacrifices he made.

It is not the end of his dream but it is the beginning of his dream, the beginning of his career in the future, from today Tere will write his name in the history of medicine World, he said, The world will know her as an ambitious and intelligent woman, who is meritorious in the World of Medicine.

But no one will know about Tere being abused, getting pregnant out of wedlock at a young age, getting married at a young age and having children and an ex-husband in Indonesia. Tere promised no one would know his past, they would only know his future.
