CHAPTER (16): The Man of the Kepo

I want to be closer to you, but you're always away from me.

Arya focuses on driving her sports car at the speed of splitting the streets of Beijing, the capital of China. Arya glanced at Tere who was counting and writing something out of nothing.

But seeing the serious expression of Tere made Arya convinced that the one who was writing and counting Tere was something important.

"Eh."

Arya rolled her eyes panted as Tere ignored her dehemence, the woman remained focused as if the World was her own.

"What are you again?" tanya Arya turned her head towards Tere, stealing a look at the paper in Tere's hands. Tere put the paper together on him, so Arya couldn't see the contents of the paper.

Arya returns to focus on the streets while waiting for a response from Tere, inexplicably Arya is so curious about the contents of the paper that Tere does not want him to know.

"No need to be a kepo man, just drive properly. I still want to live and achieve my dreams, I don't want to have an accident especially with you and this baby, like a curse to me,"

"I'm sure when your mother was pregnant with you, she must have craved chili, as seen from your spicy words."

Tere just kept quiet, turning to Arya for a moment. Then back to silence, Arya's words make her remember her childhood with her mother and father. Unknowingly tears flowed down Tere's cheeks, as recalling the beauty of his childhood was different from his bleak future, as the man******* was beside him.

Arya turned her head because she was curious that the woman did not return her words, immediately Arya felt guilty for discussing Tere's mother, until the woman cried in silence.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt or make you cry, don't cry."

Arya stops her car by the roadside, she can't see Tere crying especially because of him. Even Arya did not care that the important meeting of her reason to this city, will be held in ten minutes.

"I beg you not to cry Tere, you strong women do not deserve to cry, only weak women cry."

"Hiks, hyx, mother hyx... Tere misses mommy's hicks."

Arya pulls Tere's fragile body into her arms, even Arya has prepared herself when she will receive Tere's punch, but she is wrong because in fact Tere just silently cried in her chest.

"Dad Tere needs a father... Tere wants me to protect Tere hiks, Tere's afraid to face everything herself, hyks."

Little Tere was a beautiful daughter and had a spoiled nature, her heart was as soft as silk, her innocent gaze and her sweet smile were able to make anyone like her. It was a time when he still had a father who protected and kept him away from his cruel world and when his mother was still by his side, hugging and telling him a bedtime story.

Tere himself realized that he had turned into a woman without mercy, because of his dream of becoming an obstetrician. Tere wanted to return to being a gentle little Tere, but he could not because he was now alone without anyone protecting and loving him.

"Take me off fool!"

"Awwhhhhh!"

Arya let go of Tere's embrace and looked at her white shirt which turned red on her chest. Arya stared intently at Tere, while Tere just silently wiped her tears violently.

Tere turned his head towards Arya and stared intently at the man, without caring Arya who was grieving in pain as Tere pinched his chest tightly until it bled.

"Don't like to look for opportunities in narrowness, once a jerk will indeed remain a jerk, let alone there is a gap in the sosor directly," muttered Tere who experienced a change in attitude 180°.

Arya can only grimace in pain and restarts her car without listening to Tere's words, she is too tired to discuss Tere's scathing and insulting remarks.

Tere was blind, unwilling to see all the struggles he had to fight to win her heart. It seems like the word jerk and****** has been imprinted on the woman's brain for her. Arya can only pray that she still has the patience to always be with the woman, at least until the woman gives birth according to their agreement.
